Matt changed the locks and made keys for my rental property. He was quick, clean, nice, professional, and did a great job. Highly recommend!

What can I say about GoKey Locksmiths? Lol, I'm going to say a lot, So here's my story: December 26, 2019 I messaged to any locksmith for a new key, and this company owner "Matt" got back to me, and told me he has a guy that can impress the key for me, and it'll cost $120, so I said ok, the guy came over to my house and impressed a key for my scooter, it worked and ready to go!! Lol nope. He said it's dead and charge it overnight and it'll be ready to go, next morning December 27th, excited to take my scooter out to work, guess again, it's not working. I've message the owner "Matt", and told him what's going on with the scooter, he never messaged me back, so I messaged the guy who made the key for me, he messaged me back and said he'll come by and check what he messed up on. December 28th Saturday, he was supposed to be here around 1:30 or 2, 1:30 passed by 2 passed by, 4:37pm he texted and said he'll be here after he's done, the guy never showed up, I texted him but no response, I texted him the next day and still no response. So I messaged the owner back, and told him what's going on, and sent him text messages and the number. And he said he'll get back to me and find out what's going on, a week later, no response. I messaged him today and still no response. I paid $120 for one key and for his workers to mess up my $1200 scooter. So I went on to the scooter website to purchase a whole new keybox. I'm upset at the lack of communication they gave me and crappy job they provided. I don't know if they do refunds, but I want my money back for sure. I was being really patient with these guys, but sadly my patience ran out. Thanks again for messing up my scooter, and I'm surprised this company has a 5 star rating lol. I want my money back and you can have your key back. Thank you bye. Ahhh you got back, finally, after all those messages I sent you, you finally got back after I wrote that ARTICULATE, EDUACATED REVIEW. Hahaha. You know what your guy did wrong, you F'd my scooter, he went through the "keybox" and fucked up the wirings. Your guy did that. I want my money back. You think it's nice to take people's money back after crappy ass job y'all did? Why can't you admit that "MATT"? I can go back and forth with you "BOSS". I'll take it to the next level and post all texts and messages. It's very sad. Remember customer is always right. read more

Matt was quick to respond to my S.O.S. call on New Years day when I wasn't able to get into my apartment because of a faulty keyfob. The management company was unresponsive because of the holiday and the security company basically told me I was SOL. They arrived less than 20 minutes later. Within 5 minutes they were able to unlock my door by hooking the handle. Professional and friendly. Definitely will recommend them. Complete life savers! read more

Matt saved my life! After my apartment keys and car keys were stolen, Matt showed up within 15 minutes and changed my front door lock in 5 minutes. He went out of his way to make sure no one could steal my car by letting me borrow a club and taking out a fuse under the hood. He genuinely cared about my situation and went way beyond his job title to make sure I was taken care of. He programmed my new car key fobs, not giving up after it was starting to be difficult. The best service and best guy! read more

I've used Matt's services a few years now and am always impressed by his expertise and enthusiasm. The work is well-done, and when it occasionally needs some "tweaking" it's provided quickly and successfully. Alex, who was out yesterday, was prompt, and solved a latest problem with an efficient approach and professional attitude. Thanks Go-Key, for always being my "Go-To"! Jeff G read more

He was very understanding in our misfortune and assured us he would get the job done right. Thank you to Nick, Matt, and Matt's brother (forgot your name sorry..) for your help. Matt and I had a rough start, but he keeps to his word if you keep him honest. He's immaculate at the small items and when it comes to newer lockouts- specifically 2020+ there are some kinks for the industry to work out. Call Matt if you have a lockout. He's your man! read more

Excellent customer service. I requested a quote for a quick response and my locks rekeyed a few hours later! Also the price is reasonable.

It was going to be a big job to re-key a bunch of locks in the whole house, but no problem for them! He was able to send someone out the same day and get the job done with no problem. They showed up on time and went straight to work. They are super courteous and professional and I would definitely hire them again! read more

Alex saved me and came to my rescue within 10 minutes and got my keys out of my car! I called around and shopped other locksmiths who tried to charge me a "travel" fee of $30...just to come out, and God knows what they would have tried to milk me for later. Matt, was polite and professional! I wouldn't typically take the time to write a review, but these guys deserved it. read more

Porter and Cameron were on time, professional, knowledgable, friendly, and did quality work. They came wearing masks, and made quick work of rekeying all of the locks in the house. I spoke with Joe Biden and he was a totally chill dude. So I gave him a chance and within 15 minutes, Nick came over and worked on the lock. When I say work, I mean 5 minutes of quick jamming and wala, the door's opened. To be honest, $90 for 5 minutes is a bit much, but then again it was 9:30pm. Never forgetting my key again. Thanks Nick. read more

These guys are terrific. I sent an email with a query and got a quick response from Joe. Went in to copy some keys and the guys are truly friendly, helpful, fun and very knowledgeable. Torn about how I feel about GoKey. I was locked out of my house on a Friday afternoon and called GoKey because of the stellar reviews on Yelp. The technician called me and said that they would be there in 30 min, maximum of 45 minutes. 45 minutes later, I called to check in -- he was running late; I ended up waiting for a total of 1.25-1.5 hours since I first called. Delays happen, that's OK. When the technician arrived, he was very nice and apologetic and was able to quickly open my door with a pick, no drilling necessary -- probably took a total of 2 minutes. Told me the total was $250, but discounted to $200 because of the wait. I balked at the price, but paid. The next day, I looked up GoKey's website where it said that home lockouts only cost $100. I called GoKey, who said that technicians can set their own prices. All in all, their work is good, but don't trust the prices that they list. Should have ended up with the first company I called who would have been here earlier and would have come in at half the price of what I paid. read more

GoKey was key on a Sunday night! Hard to find someone to help you out of your locked apartment on a Sunday evening, but GoKey was there to the rescue! Joe was super fun, nice personality, and cool. I highly recommend this company. Matt was very professional and arrived at our house just 15 minutes after we called when our house key broke in half while trying to unlock our door. He quoted us a reasonable price upfront and quickly got us back into our house. He was even able to replace our lock and rekey it right there as if nothing had ever happened. It was all done in about 30 minutes from the time we called him with our "emergency" situation until the time he left. The payment was very easily done over our phones.
