Four years after Wired AV installed my home system, a power surge knocked out my setup. By email alone JC was able to walk me through the steps to get my system back up and running. This company is awesome! read more

I rarely leave reviews, but this team deserves recognition. I originally reached out for a simple TV installation, but quickly realized they could handle so much more. What started as a small job turned into a full smart home setup--and it was the best decision I could've made. They installed a system that now lets me control everything from lighting and audio to security cameras, door locks, and even climate control--all from my phone, whether I'm home or away. Everything works seamlessly, and the setup is incredibly clean and professional. When I tell you everything is hidden out-of-sight, I'm not joking. If you want a TV on a wall where the plug is out of reach, not an issue for them at all. They will just create a plug directly behind the TV and handle everything from the drywall to the electrical. Need something else they may not provide? Don't worry, they have an extended amount of local partners/business owners they work with who come get it done and its all included in their quote - you literally don't have to think about anything. They took the time to walk me through the options, explain how things worked, and tailor everything to what I actually needed--no upselling, no pressure, just honest, expert advice. What stood out most was the level of professionalism. They showed up on time, respected the space, and made sure everything was perfect before wrapping up. It's clear they take pride in their work. JC was also available to me when I was first learning the system and would never hesitate to help guide me through the interface whenever I needed some insight. If you're looking for a team that can handle anything from a straightforward install to a fully integrated smart system, this is the company to call. Reliable, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They are also locally owned and operated, support the community and small businesses - a total asset to our society! read more

I have been working with JC and his team for the past 5 years. He is quick to respond and always reliable whenever you have a question to anything A/V. Wired AV has installed our camera security system around our house, installed our ring doorbell, mounted 5+ TVs, installed in ceiling surround sound speakers throughout the house and our backyard, along with equipping us with the powerful Control 4 and Sonos system. JC and his team are the best and always offering a fair price. I'll continue to work with Wired AV for all my future A/V needs. Thanks again JC and team! read more

We have a Control 4 system/rack that has been beeping the last couple of days, in the past we were able to turn off the beeping by turning it on and off and pushing and holding a couple of buttons, this time it didn't work. I contacted John/JC and he responded promptly and asked me to send over some info regarding my system and when I connected with him over the phone later he walked me through how to troubleshoot it. I couldn't believe it. I feel like any other AV business (like the original person we had) would have asked to come out to "troubleshoot" and then charged us for the privilege regardless of whether or not the issue was fixed. I wasn't even a client yet, and JC was such a professional that he took the time to walk me through some things first to see if it would work. So imagine, if he would take the time out to help someone who wasn't even a client yet, the level of service he would provide if the person were a paying customer would no doubt be impeccable! Highly recommend! I have already told my husband about JC, and we'll be using JC for our Control 4 needs going forward! I wish I had found him when we were building our house a few years ago. Cheers! read more

JC, Abat, and the rest of their team did an exceptional job on a variety of audio, video, lighting, security, and wi-fi projects for my 5,000 sq ft new construction home in Manhattan Beach. All of them were knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly, honest and fair with their billable hours. I would highly recommend them. Within a day of my initial call, JC came to the house and went over everything with me in detail, including all the equipment I would need which he had no problem letting me purchase myself. He was generous with him time throughout this initial consultation as there was much to discuss. They wall-mounted 6 televisions (most 80" +), all of which were perfectly centered including super-clean wiring work behind the TVs. They custom installed 2 Sonos Arcs attached to 2 of the TVs which look great and are very functional when rotating them. They also created 6 zones for TV/audio listening via Sonos Amps and in-ceiling speakers which sound amazing. They got my internet going using only 1 SSID while installing an additional ethernet outlet in the office and Ubiquiti access point for the backyard. And when I was having a minor issue with handoff from one access point to the next walking around with my iPhone, JC came over personally at no additional charge to make things right. My home is a technology and electronic lover's dream now thanks to their great work! Thanks guys! read more

We recently decided to redo our wireless network as well as clean up our AV system including a new remote. Our old system which was a mish mosh was very unreliable. When JC came out for the assessment, it was clear he keeps current on technology, quickly identifying solutions that would address our concerns in the most efficient way. JC and his team did a terrific job, showing up promptly and the way they worked was not intrusive but very respectful and professional. They had to punch several holes in our walls to my dismay. However, it was done so quickly and the hole covered up that it's not noticeable. Everything works great and it is a pleasant upgrade to our previous system and he was very mindful of our budget. I would recommend JC and his team to anyone needing his services. read more

JC installed our home Sonos system in 2018. We had just moved in and the previous owners left only some speakers. He added a Sonos soundbar, amps, sub woofers and hard wired TV's. We have Spectrum for wifi but he added additional wifi so it worked inside and outside. I hate to jinx myself but we haven't had one problem. Recently I asked JC to check everything. He came to my home in a few days and was as professional as always. I highly recommend JC. Keep it local! read more

We had wired AV come out to do some pickup work that our previous low voltage guy basically dropped the ball on. JC was awesome and a yes guy, which is great. So often you hear "no we can't do this or that" because people don't want to put in the labor. He installed two TVs for us, fixed our alarm system issues and made recommendations for to boost our WIFI. His billing was easy and straight forward, and he was very responsive and followed up to make sure everything was working smoothly. I felt comfortable having him and his guys working in my house as well. I would recommend WIRED AV. read more

We called JC to help us mount a tv on a wall in our new house and set up Sonos surround sound system. We wanted a clean, wireless look and knew that we needed professional help to make this happen. His team came in and were professional and polite. We contacted Wired AC services during the covid lockdown, and his team & himself wore gloves and masks the whole time, keeping their distance from our family. We had set up our internet services to be done ahead of time, but they did not install it correctly, and JC figured out what the issue was and solved it. Not only was the set up done correctly, but they also cleaned up after themselves. Very happy with our new home theater - JC and his team are the best! read more

Wired AV - 75in mounted TV with Sonos Sound Bar. - Home Automation Near Me - Redondo Beach, California

I'm 68. Most of my life, I took care of all of my home audio/video setups. From research, to purchase to installation. I'm not that guy anymore. I haven't kept up with the state-if-the-art in technology and components, and quite frankly I'm just lazy about this kind of stuff at this time of my life. But my 5.1 Home Theater with Zone 2 for my roof deck cropped out on me over a year ago, so I just plugged my Apple TV, DVD & Cable Set Top Box into my Big Screen TV ports and have lived with 2.0 from the TV speakers all this time. Enough was enough, so I jumped and engaged the best sounding local service to take care of me. I hit the jackpot with JC at WiredAV!!! He came he saw and listened to me, and where I was prepared for him to tell me U needed everything new, speakers, etc., he did exactly what I needed, offered some valuable suggestions, but didn't hard sell unnecessary new stuff and assured me I'd be back in business with the components and installation he proposed. Am I in heaven with my upgraded system!!After order placed at a fair price and a few days wait for delivery, JC came back, worked fast, safe & clean, taught me how to use everything, and remains available for any questions I might have. I can't say enough about his reliability and expertise! I'm going back to him this week for doorbell camera & security upgrades! He's a real find! Use him, you won't regret it!!! Thank Time for me to add an additional shout out to JC & his crew at Wired AV! I did have them come back last month and install a Ring system with front door & driveway cameras & a driveway light. Again JC didn't try to sell me more than I wanted and then his guys did a great, quick, safe installation and taught me how to use it all. JC also remains available to answer all of my questions, and recently gave me a lead on a great Transmitter & Receiver that sends all of my video wirelessly to a TV on my roof deck. I will continue to go to him for recommendations and for these kinds of services as he has proven himself to be the real deal! Thank you JC and Wired AV!!! read more

Honestly was pretty skeptical about hiring a service to mount my TV and SONOS system. Thought I could do it on my own, but am so happy I went thru Wired AV. I worked w JC. This guy was super helpful, gave me very fair quotes and his work was extremely impressive. He charges by the hour and wsnt slacking off at all. He's super detailed and even cleans up after he's done. He mounted a 65 inch Samsung along with a SONOS playbar. He also mounted a 42 inch w a Sony playbar. Both look super clean. Outstanding experience from start to finish. I spoke with JC, the owner, over the phone and immediately noticed he is very knowledgeable and professional. I was on a short timetable due to scheduled movers and JC accommodated on short notice without hesitation. On installation day, JC and his crew arrived on time, were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The install was timely, even though it was a large TV being mounted to brick. The finished product looks amazing and I couldn't be happier. JC's price was also reasonable, especially compared to some other quotes I received for the job. For the quality work that was done, can not beat the price. Wired AV is a great local business. Even while busy, JC took the time to ask details over the phone and help me figure out what I wanted. JC did an amazing job on our project. Saving us from a terrible system. We built our house and used another company to do our AV install. After a year of it failing, dropping out, locking up and no response from the original installer we had enough. I made the choice to move over to SONOS through out the house. Using it for nine different audio zones as well as for our surround sound in our Great Room and Master Bedroom. JC came to the rescue. They cleaned up the cabling and centralized all my entertainment equipment. His work was efficient and clean. We have had absolutely no issues since. JC is not like other AV installers. He won't push technology on you if you are not interested in it. He is there to give you the home entertainment system you want. We just sold our house (and all the equipment for cost) and are moving across the country. I am bummed JC can't do the install for us in our new place. read more

JC Wired is fantastic. John, the owner, and his company were referred to me by a colleague for security cameras. Doing my due diligence, I also got estimates from 3 other companies. John took the time to ask the right questions and prepared a thorough, thoughtful proposal. His prices were fair, and the equipment he recommended was excellent. I quickly eliminated the other proposals and went with JC Wired. He was not the cheapest, but I was impressed with his practical knowledge and approach. After the initial proposal, I also found that John had an excellent and varied technical background, so I decided to upgrade the wireless network, which had been a constant irritant, and have him take a look at our ancient alarm system. I also had him bid the installation of a Ring Pro entry system. Everybody ought to have one of these things. I wanted hardwired cameras for reliability of signal, and a host of other good reasons, but did not want any exposed wiring festooning my house. This is where a smart guy who is thoughtful, and actually cares about what he does, really comes into play. He took the time to go through camera placement and how he was going to make each cable run for the 14 cameras (Hikvision) that he installed for the project. He listened to my input, and was very patient when I made adjustments. He had two techs, Isidro and Alex, that worked with him...and they were top-notch. That PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) camera up above is MINE, BTW! And is absolutely the coolest toy ever invented (do NOT tell my wife it is a toy, it is a serious, and very necessary piece of surveillance equipment. For our family's security...). AND THE COOLEST TOY EVER! Ahem. All the cameras have fantastic infrared for clear night vision. I can also view all the cameras on my iPhone, iPad and laptop, anywhere I am. In the world. Cool. I can fully control the PTZ from any device as well. Double cool. He also installed 2 WAPs (Web Access Points) for the network. We have a large property and had a host of irritating weak points in wireless. Not anymore. Ripping, rock-solid signal pretty much over our entire acre now. AND he rehabbed our 20 year old alarm system with a new dual path alarm system. Dual path means it communicates either over the LAN or uses mobile if that fails. I can arm, disarm and check the alarm's status from my cell with an app. From Anywhere. Yes. This was not the scope of work that I originally had planned. But after meeting and speaking with John, I decided to bite the bullet and knock out some projects that I had been meaning to get to. I am so happy I did, and I'm thrilled with the outcome. John (JC) is a smart, principled and thoughtful guy that will do great work for you. Next up: AV re-hab. You ready, JC? read more
