Horrible experience! Had a in person meeting with this company to come out to my property and give me an estimate for a security system. Called to push back my appointment and I get a call back from one of there techs/sales guys basically telling me not to waste his time and asked what I needed and where I lived. He goes on and tells me they basically cover anywhere from Torrance to San Bernardino but being that I live by the harbor which is basically 5 miles away from Torrance, they don't cover that area. That might have been something the office could have said when I first booked the appointment. Honestly sounded like the guy just didn't want to do his job and come by and give me a quote. Horrible service! If you guys are reading this and living by the harbor area don't call these guys because they don't cover the area even though they'll go out to San Bernardino which is like 70 miles away from there office! read more

We switched from ADT to APS several years ago after a home break-in and we haven't looked back since. The level of professional individualized service from APS is unparalleled. Recently, when we experienced technical issues with our system and made an appointment, they gave us a specific appointment time (no 2 or 3 hour windows here), and they showed up EXACTLY on time. They quickly identified the issues (low battery, and damaged wiring in one of our entry areas), and had both handled with efficiency within 30 minutes. I noticed after they left they had taken the time to put everything back just as they were (items were back in the closet, window screens were back in). As a busy working mom, the attention to detail, thoroughness and punctuality that APS maintains are noticed and so greatly appreciated. More than anything, we feel safe knowing that we're on APS's watch - we know our primary security guard by name (shout out to Marco!) and feel better because we've seen how quickly they show up even during a false alarm. I did not use APS but was thoroughly impressed with Vernon. I bought a house that already had ADT equipment and although ADT gets terrible reviews and the leadup did not give me a good impression, the ADT equipment was locked and I would have had to buy all new equipment and was strapped right after buying a house. I did call Vernon to see what he could do and he came out that day and spent a lot of time explaining to me and trying to get the ADT equipment to work but couldn't because it was locked. I'll see how things go with ADT after the 2 years is up. Nonetheless I would highly recommend Vernon because of his service to someone who is not yet a customer. read more

We have just moved from ADT to APS and so far couldn't be happier. Vernon and team are courteous, professional and clearly competent (Vernon's experience in law enforcement shows!). They did a walk through of our home and recommended reasonable upgrades for reasonable costs (ie - can strategically enhance a portion of our fencing rather than reinstalling the whole thing; leveraging existing systems when possible; etc). Great installation experience...Fidel and Angel were knowledgable, clean and respectful of our home and our concerns about COVID safety. Even though it was late on a Friday night, they didn't leave until we felt comfortable with all of the ins and outs of operating our keypads. Thank you APS Home Security and Security Officer Hill (aka Teddy) My door chime went off at 4:30 in the morning and I was terrified that someone was inside my house. My daughter called 911 and was speaking with the 911 operator while they contacted LAPD to send out cars. I then remembered that I had the direct cell line to APS Home Security Officer and the patroling car around here. Security Officer Hill from APS came out within a minute, checked my house and my alarm system, and found that it was a faulty sensor that made it go off. He could also tell which door the sensor went off on before he arrived as our system is plugged into APS. SOOOOO grateful that I have APS! You don't realize what a lifesaver it is until your alarm goes off while you're sleeping and you're terrified. Totally worth it to have APS Home Security patrol car in our neighborhood b/c at that hour every minute seems like an hour. I first met Marco from APS when there was an attempted break in after we moved to our house few years ago. I had switched from ADT to Ring(husband's choice), and they were of no help. Few days later, I saw Marco patrolling our street and asked him for help since I've seen them driving by several times a day.
