We had an excellent experience with Smart Audio and Visual! Jimmy installed our Frame TV in my office, and my biggest requirement was that I didn't want to see a single cord. He absolutely delivered. The installation was incredibly clean, professional, and looks like the TV is floating on the wall. His attention to detail really stood out, and he made sure everything looked perfect before he left. After that, Jimmy also installed a TV at my mom's house. Her installation was much more challenging because the electrical setup wasn't ideal, but he found a solution and was still able to hide all of the cords and get everything set up beautifully. You'd never know the extra work that went into it. Jimmy was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and took pride in his work. If you're looking for someone who does clean, high-quality TV installations, especially if you want a seamless, no-visible-cord look, I highly recommend Smart Audio and Visual. We'll definitely be using them again for future projects! read more

From beginning to end the service was excellent! I might have even learned a thing or two myself. I've never been the most efficient when it comes to home renovation or modifications. I just don't exactly trust myself with expensive appliances and their handling. Thankfully SAV is here and my worries are put to rest! Quoting? Smooth. Pricing? Very VERY reasonable. Appointment times? Not only flexible, but PUNCTUAL! Service? Top notch! Communication through out and even after? Yes yes and yes. I even got some advice from Jimmy on some smaller non-related projects I have for my place. As much as I appreciated the information I'm definitely gonna inquire about these upcoming projects again from SAV. Clearly professionals all around and my home will be in great hands! read more

We desperately needed our TV mounted to the wall so late on a Friday evening we reached out AND Jimmy was awesome! Not only was his response time fast BUT the service was provided the next day. In less than 24hrs the TV was mounted. He arrived on time with all of his equipment, asked us questions to make sure we were all on the same page, and quickly got to work. You can really tell he knows and loves what he does. The whole process was very smooth and FAST. Jimmy even took the time to show us some features on the TV that we didn't know about. I'm 100% saving Smart Audio Visual in my contacts for future home projects. read more

Jimmy continues to be a class act! He came out & hung my 75" where he previously hung 65". He upgraded mount to allow for more movement. Then we took the 65" up to my theater room which required him to think on the fly to create brackets for securing mount. Jimmy used 2 pieces of wood from a pallet then affixed tv mount. It is extremely secure. He's reasonable on price, super professional, & he'll customize to ensure he can complete project to your liking! read more

Jimmy is awesome. He showed up on time and within my available schedule. The job was mounting four TVs (2 new and rotated two TVs ) and connect my existing receiver and surround sound systems. One is a Bose lifestyle system from around 2007 and the other a Yamaha receiver dated around 2019. Given the older technology, I was't sure if those systems would work with the new tvs. He figured it all out and made sure I could still use my receivers, hooked up hdmi cables for my dvd/blue ray components and made sure mu outside speakers worked with the Yamaha receiver. He updated my receiver software and downloaded the appropriate Apps so I could operate my tvs and sound systems from my phone. I was so impressed! His quality of work is excellent and he stayed until the job was 100 % done and working correctly. His prices were very competitive. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the results and would recommend him without hesitation. . read more

Where do I start.. Jimmy did such an amazing job that I'm still speechless about how my office turned out. Jimmy installed 4 cameras that I can view on my iPhone along with a DVR and monitor that he so cleverly hid inside my office. Jimmy installed 2 ceiling speakers with a new Denon receiver so that we can hear some nice sounding music during the work day. Lastly Jimmy mounted a TV in my office. As you can see from the pictures Jiimmy's work is impeccable, he hid every wire through the walls which I'm still amazed by! On top of all that he left my office as clean as possible. He was a delight to have in my office and I can't wait to have him do the same for my home. Do yourself a favor and look no further than Jimmy with Smart Audio, you won't be disappointed! read more

I had a few components with my audio/video surround sound system and smart remote that were not working properly, and my efforts were in vain. I saw Jimmy's great reviews and called him, hoping he could fix the mess. Jimmy found several issues and reconnected components and reprogrammed the smart remote, so everything worked perfectly. He was also a great resource in advising me as to my next purchases to create the ideal 4K experience. This is a gentleman with great integrity and a true professional who takes great pride in his work. I couldn't be happier to have found Jimmy. I plan on recommending him to family and friends and will be calling him for future projects. Thank you, Jimmy for taking all the frustration out and making this a seamless experience. read more

I can't say enough great things about Jimmy, and his company Smart Audio. I had hired another company from Yelp to install some speakers and hook up a receiver. Well, the job was botched and I was left with no sound or picture. So I then called Jimmy, and within a day he was at my house ascertaining the problem. Within 10 minutes, he had figured out what the other company couldn't in 2 days! Needless to say, everything in working great. We even had Jimmy come back and install more speakers in an addition that we put onto the house. And at a price that simply can not be beat. His company is correctly named, because you will feel "smart" for calling Jimmy and having him install all of your home and business audio needs. read more

Messaged Jimmy (the owner) on a Saturday, and he got back to me in less than 30 min! I gave him details about my request, shared some pics, and then braced myself for the quote while I cursed myself for not being more handy. He kindly shared a better solution with me that would solve my problem WITHOUT the need for him to do any work. So, basically, he gave me free advice during a pandemic -- and, thus, lost the opportunity to make money from the project. So I figured the least I can do is write a Yelp review that vouches for his integrity and his commitment to finding the BEST solution, not the most profitable one. That's the kind of business owner anyone would be well-advised to consult. read more

Jimmy was super professional and really friendly, previous installer of mine installed cheap screws that became stripped when I tried to relocate the mount on a new tv. I am very pleased to have found Jimmy of Smart Audio Visual! He is incredibly knowledgeable, smart, honest and his pricing is fair and reasonable. A year ago Jimmy installed 8 Ring flood lights with cameras surrendering our home. He reconnected our Sonos system (which another IT guy had somehow disengaged). All of Jimmy's installs are still functioning perfectly. I again enlisted his services last week when our older TV totally died. He installed a brand new 65" 4k OLED screen TV and programmed our existing remote to communicate with it. He reconnected our streaming service, as well. During the past 17 years, I have dealt with three different TV installers and/or repairmen and a couple of IT guys. The last IT "expert" told me our Sonos unit was outdated (when I asked him if he could reconnect it). He said that he needed to replace it in addition to installing the six ring surveillance cameras and ring doorbell that I had requested. His estimate was literally a multiple of Jimmy's final bill. Jimmy was quick to respond to my initial inquiry. His work was impeccable and fast. He cleaned up thoroughly after his installations and was very patient in explaining how to use the products. He has been equally expedient in responding to our subsequent needs and hauled away our old TV for us. Going forward, Jimmy will be the only person whose services I will in list for any of our IT needs! read more

Jimmy did a phenomenal job running the electrical (from an outlet near the floor to a new one behind the TV) and mounting my TV in my living room. JIMMY. HE SAVED MY FAMILY & HAS MADE US FEEL WHOLE AGAIN!!! When the work was done, I had a jaw dropping response & tried to hide my tears of joy!!! Truly grateful to know there's good businessmen out there! Let me explain ... I am a single parent of three kids who uses our "Friday movie nights" at home as a way to bond, rekindle sense of family & quality time. We moved to a new city and lost this ritual for nearly 8 months. My worry was finding a balance between cost & quality customer service. He is your man! Seriously. Jimmy delivered above & beyond my expectations. He is fast, yet graceful. Knowledgeable, informative with recommendations. Understanding yet confident on his view. He is comfortable. I didn't have a vehicle large enough for tv so he even met me at store & delivered to our home. What a sweet guy he turned out to be - I do hope my boys turn out to be as driven man as he. One can notice immediately that it's his passion & he won't leave your home without seeing a smile on your face. Truly genuine. I could go on & on. Just try him. No regrets... :) Thx Jimmy for A+ customer service in all areas. Fantastic job!! read more

I choose Jimmy at Smart Audio Visual over other providers because his communication during the quote process (all completed on line through yelp messages or texts) was quick, direct and straight-forward. An appointment was scheduled and I was notified by text just before arrival. Jimmy was personable, yet focused on the work. He asked enough questions to make sure the job would be completed to my satisfaction. At the time of arrival Jimmy had all the materials and supplies he needed to complete the job. He was fast and efficient and all work was completed in professional manner (wall mounting of three televisions and integration of related components). read more

We just moved into a new home and wanted to install TVs and speakers in the main room, game room and outdoors. Jimmy was amazingly helpful in deciding what would be great in each of those locations (vs. what would be overkill in the smaller areas.) In the end we decided on a Sonos system that lets us easily combine and separate rooms on the fly, including the patio. The install he did looks incredibly clean and professional, and he was even able to overcome some challenges presented by the existing wiring. I wanted something that looked professional and worked easily/seamlessly, and he delivered - while also ensuring I understood everything along the way. On several decisions where I wasn't sure what would be best I trusted his judgement, and am glad that I did. Very good balance of offering expert advice while adhering to our vision - he definitely went above and beyond. I highly recommend him. read more

Jimmy was extremely helpful - they do more than just home audio and surround and came highly recommended from my favorite client who has been in Orange County for decades and is known to do his due diligence when it comes to shopping for the absolute best price coupled with a quality product & service. I needed home surveillance - cameras, night vision, the whole Rambo Seal Team 6 bit... They not only delivered and installed next day, they gave me a better price than anyone locally (including big box stores) for the actual equipment, including the high-end warranted cameras and DVR. Extremely fast, thorough and helpful, they answered all my newbie questions and I even got a deal for mentioning Yelp. Would definitely recommend and have them coming back to wire up some sound in the theater next month! Thanks! read more
