Horrible experience. We scheduled a technician to arrive between 8:00-9:00 AM, but he didn't show up until 9:30 AM and then claimed he didn't know where to park. We had already provided clear parking instructions for our business center and even agreed in advance to pay for his parking (there is also free parking nearby). When we pointed out that he was late, he became upset and left without doing any work. Shortly after, we received a call from an unregistered phone number, and the person on the line was extremely rude. There was no communication or follow-up from the home office at all. Because of this unprofessional behavior, they lost a $10,000+ labor job for a one-week TV mounting project. This company is clearly not Irvine Company-centric, and arguing about parking after we agreed to cover the cost is unacceptable. They even charge $25 just for an estimate, which is absurd--we immediately found another company that provided a free, same-day estimate and handled things professionally. Alex came out to our Condo to look over putting our small bathroom back together. We had a leak in the wall and everything except the tub was removed, also some flooring coming into the bathroom. He showed us some areas that needed leveling and a few other issues. He was quite though and we were impressed. We scheduled a Thursday and Friday to do the work, he said a day and half to two. We then were notified, the date had changed to Friday and Saturday, starting between 8-9 am. When it was 9:15 I called and talked to Tatiana who I had been communicating with. She said Alex would be there in 40 minutes, but ended up being around 2:30. He had some personal issues, which I totally understand but the communication was lacking. He worked to about 5, he had to go to Home Depot, over the 2 days, 3 times. I thought we had things covered as we bought the flooring and under layment. On Saturday he said Alexander would be there to help at 3 and he was. They were there until 9, I'm sure they were exhausted along with us. My husband requested a discount due to the fact not starting when agreed upon. We received a small discount. The next day, the valves to the toilet and under the sink had small leaks. Tech arrived 1.5 hr past 4 scheduled window. fixed issue (under warranty) then proceeded to tell me it would be additional $220 "maintenance fee" to shop vac the inside of the machine. It took him a whole 25 minutes to vacuum, before he started putting it back together. I questioned the charge, repeatedly before having to agree to it. $220 for 25 minutes of vacuuming. I needed a few projects done around the office I work at and we decided hiring a handyman would be the most efficient way to complete everything. Initially I was looking for a local, independent person who we could call whenever things came up, but wasn't able to find anybody with immediate availability. Installationpro's rates were comparable to other people I received quotes from, and they were able to send somebody the same day. I didn't catch the name of the guy who showed up, but he was polite and got right to work. He needed to go out to Home Depot and buy something, and he discussed the shopping fee with me before heading out, which I appreciated. He completed all the items we had for him in less than 4 hours. He was great at communicating, asking questions, and explaining issues to me.
