He was able to come out within a few hours and offered a very reasonable price for hanging a shelf. The job was completed quickly and he is polite which I appreciated. That said, for someone doing this as a full-time profession, I would have expected more attention to detail, such as using screws that match the shelf color and ensuring there were no visible gaps between the shelf and the drywall.

My longtime handyman retired so I found Eric through a Yelp search and ratings filter. He is professional, punctual, reliable, flexible and soft spoken . My mistake was hiring Eric for being the quickest available and lowest cost -- even though it was for a simple, hard-to-mess-up job. Joke's on me because I ended up losing both time and money going with Eric. Low quality work, poor service and unprofessionalism is definitely reflected in his cheap pricing. I needed two very simple pendant lights installed in brand new, preexisting J-boxes. What should have been a straightforward 1-hour job turned into multiple hours gone and 2 expensive lights ruined. The red flags: he doesn't confirm appointments and you have to do the work pinning him down for confirmation, majority of the time he talks with some woman on the phone in another language while he works - she's loud and expressive enough for you to know she's going on about some story which sounds to be more of a personal conversation that can and should be saved for a time he's NOT with a client, meanwhile, against all better judgment and instructions, he decides to cut down the entire length of the pendant to turn it into a flush mount instead and gaslights you saying "that's how it's supposed to be." Even though there's a long cord attached to each pendant and the official instructions you provide him shows the full product and installation, he brazenly cuts ALL the cord off! And without asking! Then when caught in his mistakes, he uses your own stove to singe the cord back on, making a mess of your product and leaving a horrible lingering smell in your home. And instead of bringing his ladder, he asks to stand on top of your nice counter stool, has no shoe coverings, tools, the list goes on... Save yourself the trouble and hire someone who will get the job done right and respect your time, home, and money. I get upset looking at my ruined lights thanks to Eric's shoddy work every day. read more

We spent a huge amount of time and effort, researching different cabinetry companies in order to find the right match for us. It became clear as we researched that there is a big dividing line within the cabinetry industry. Most typically there are guys who have table saws, and tape measures and they proceed to chop up wood and nail it together. However, a more recent development in the cabinetry business is what we were looking for. The most advanced companies come out, take measurements of the room and then design the cabinetry on a three dimensional computer system. This provides a way of essentially seeing what you're going to create before you even make one bit of sawdust. Once an optimized design is finalized, the wood parts are cut up and drilled by computer controlled machines, that very precisely control the dimensions of the wood parts to within only a few thousands of an inch. At that point the wood panels are simply put together with very little effort and essentially no corrective measures being needed. The result is a cabinet assembly that comes out essentially perfect. All drawers are precisely in line, everything fits pretty much perfectly. And this is how Haynes cabinetry operates. Along with Haynes, using the most advanced methods of creating cabinetry, throughout our project, they continually displayed a most proactive approach to dealing with us. At no point during the project, did we ever have to ask to have something done a second time. Everything we asked was taken care of, and taken care of with a smile. It was as if we were having friends that we've known for years come over and perform this work, they were amazing! Looking back at our home remodel, it is clear that Haynes cabinetry led the pack with regards to comparing them with the other contractors that we had involved in our project. You'll start with Misty at their showroom. With some measurements and a couple photos, she'll begin your design, providing 3D renderings along the way. She couldn't have been more pleasant, helpful and patient. My wife Karen and her friend Colleen were the primary decision makers. But, realizing I was out numbered, Misty was compassionately accommodating with the couple of requests I had. Once the design is approved, Bryce (owner) came out to our house for final measurements. Even after his meticulous work, it turned out our refrigerator wouldn't fit under the cabinet above it. He and Misty made the exchange for the next smaller size a breeze. Instead of cutting corners, he fixed everything the right way. They handled new framing, opening up walls, plumbing corrections, and a full rebuild of the space. The craftsmanship really shows, especially in the details. The shower tile work is flawless, and the shampoo niche came out super clean and well-designed. The new tile flooring ties everything together perfectly, and the paint finish gives the whole bathroom a fresh, modern coastal feel. They also cleaned up another patch in the ceiling that a ceiling fan installer left looking like garbage. Best price I got for a full finished job and great communication and service through the whole experience. I recently had the pleasure of hiring Eric for a job to hang two LED backlit mirrors in my primary and secondary bathrooms, and I couldn't be more impressed with the quality of his work and his professionalism. From the very beginning, Eric's responsiveness was outstanding. After reaching out, he quickly gave me an estimate over the phone based on our discussion and photos of the job. What surprised me even more was his ability to schedule the job on the same day! Communication with Eric was seamless throughout the entire process. He informed me of time estimates for his arrival, ensuring a smooth and convenient experience. When he arrived, it was clear that he was well-prepared and ready to tackle the task. The mirrors I needed hung were relatively large- 56" x 36" and 59 lbs. each. Despite the challenge, Eric approached the job with confidence and expertise. Since the electricity was already run for the mirrors, he efficiently focused on hanging them. I appreciated his transparency and the fact that he required my assistance to lift the mirrors into place. In less than an hour, both mirrors were hung straight, and Eric even tested the lighting to ensure everything was in perfect working order. We had some miscommunication about scope and pricing but we ultimately came to an agreement on it. was expecting at least a couple people to show up but he came by himself...then he asked me to help lift the TV. definitely not what i was expecting. had no choice but to do it since i needed the TVs mounted...he left a few of the bolts unused and did the bare minimum to keep it up. but the worst part was that the TVs were actually not straight...tried to get him to redo it but it was useless. we ended up calling another company to redo it all. read more
