We hired Mehmet, the business owner, for a kitchen sink installation. Our old kitchen sink was a non-standard cutout undermounted sink and we wanted a new standard rectangular sink installed. This involves cutting the granite in place, basically making the ~30"x19" cut-out large enough to fit a 33"x22" top-mounted sink (see photos). All other (~8-9) renovation companies I reached out to stated they'd need to replace the entire countertop, costing multiple thousand dollars, or wouldn't take the job at all; only Homedepot Master offered us this service. Mehmet made sure to enumerate risks and considerations (e.g. countertop scratches, dust, possible cracking etc.) which we acknowledged before moving forward. After the sink we ordered got delivered, Mehmet and Torkay arrived on the day we scheduled, professionally set up the workspace (put up a curtain to contain the dust, sealed doors/windows, etc.) and had the new top-mount sink installed within ~5 hours. No surprises with the payment afterwards either; Homedepot Master quoted us $1200 for cutting and installation, we payed $1200 and not a cent more. Overall, I'm pleasantly satisfied with Homedepot Master's service. I anticipate we'll reach out to them again for future renovations. read more

I reached out to HomeDepot Master aka Matt on August 10, 2024 via the "Request Services" feature on Yelp (he was one of the first businesses to respond promptly). I needed a couple of new light switches installed and replace my kitchen light fixture with an updated one. He was very responsive and communicative. We scheduled the appointment service a few days later and he and his partner were timely and would update me on their ETA. They finished the project (including clean up) in less than an hour. Pricing is reasonable and comparable to other handyman services. If you're looking for someone professional, timely, reliable and excellent results for any handy work needs, I highly recommend HomeDepot Masters. read more

They responded quickly and fixed the problem of 3 doors in about an hour. Great job done!

I can see why this team of two has five stars! Quick response time with a clear quote for the work required to address the problems I needed fixing. Their pricing was fair. Easy to work with and knowledgeable about both the electrical and mechanical issues I had. In the end, they slightly reduced the fee quoted because I guess the fixes weren't as time consuming as anticipated. I would highly recommend them for whatever is needed. read more

I reached out to Matt regarding a project installing some doors. He responded quickly, gave us a reasonable estimate for the work, and was available to start the job right away. The project involved removing some old doors, closing up a section of the wall with drywall, and installing a single and French doors with new frame and paint. Matt and his crew arrived on time and got right to work. It was clear right away that they are professionals. Matt kept me updated throughout the project with pictures. When something came up during the project (as things normally do in construction) he was very transparent with what needed to be done, and how much it would cost. In just a few days we had beautiful doors installed and freshly painted. The area of the wall they closed up blends in so nicely that you can't even tell there used to be an opening there. It was a pleasure working with Matt and his crew and we look forward to many future projects. read more

I contacted Homedepot Master for help with a job repairing a gate leading to our backyard. He responded quickly, provided a very fair quote for the work, and arranged to show up within a couple of days to complete it. On the day of the job, he and his assistant showed up 15 minutes *early* and got right to work. They fully assessed the situation with the gate and went above & beyond to repair it, getting it to a "better than new" state. They wrapped up their work within 45 minutes. Super impressed. I will absolutely work with them again when we have need! read more

Matt came as promised and on time to do our small installation project. Response time via Yelp and phone took more than a couple hours but it's understandable. I actually saved his phone number for any future handyman project as it's hard to come by a reliable, reasonable (rate) business nowadays. read more

Mehmet (also goes by Matt) was an absolute dream to work with. I contacted him around 4:00pm on a Sunday afternoon for a demolition job. He responded promptly and arrived at my house about an hour later. He was pleasant, efficient, and detail orientated. He listened to all my requests and offered to help us move things around our garage as well. Mehmet cleaned up his works space and left the area better than it was when he arrived. Mehmet is eager to do good work, but more importantly has the skill and knowledge to execute whatever you may need. He really is a jack of all trades. He was transparent and upfront about pricing which I thought was more than fair for the quality work he completed. I will certainly be contacting him again for any future, bigger projects around the house. I will undoubtedly be recommending him to friends, family, and neighbors. Do NOT hesitate to reach out to Mehmet. read more

Great response and very knowledgeable on all tasks. Sprinklers, indoor and outdoor plumbing done perfect

I can honestly say that Matt is the best handyman I've used in my fourteen years' living in Orange County. Matt removed an old wall AC unit and replaced it with a new one, a job that normally is not complicated or difficult. Since I live in a building that was built 50 years ago, there was a surprise. Matt had to grind down a metal lip that would not allow the new AC unit to slip into place. Using great care and skill, he honed down the edge of this lip to allow for a perfect fit. I'll call Matt for my next job for certain. Matt arrived on time. He put on shoe covers and a mask and went to work! read more

Matt was punctual and tried very hard to make us happy. He installed a fan in my nook area, a peephole in the front door and a light in the entry hall and a light in my dining room. He had to call a friend to help with the 25 foot ceiling light, and I ended up paying extra for that, but I recommend Matt. He cleans up the area nicely when he is done. read more

We called the Homedepot master a couple of months ago after hearing about him through a coworker. He was very nice and was able to get back to me right away. Very efficient and kind. I will definitely keep him in mind for any future projects! Thank you for your help! read more

I was looking for someone who could handle multiple tasks. After reading different reviews I decided I would use use the Homedepot Master Service. I called a day before and gave Matt my repair list. Matt was able to accommodate my request and come out the very next day. I could not be more pleased with the work. Matt was very thorough, efficient and clean throughout the whole process. I had 2 garbage disposals replaced along with 2 toilets where the water would not stop running that were repaired. Matt was able to repair my list as well as tend to a few small last minute request as well. I will definitely be using Matt with the Homedepot Master again and also recommend his services. read more

While replacing flooring in our bathroom we discovered a leak that had caused some rot and the project turned into a full bathroom remodel on a budget. Matt was a lifesaver and exceeded my expectations. He installed new cabinet, toilet moved light fixture and paint. A true handyman. Matt and Emere did a fantastic job with our ceiling fan installation in a bedroom without an existing fixture and dimmer installation in the dining room. They were thorough, quick, and really reasonably priced. The time and cost was as quoted. They offered to touch up the ceiling and wall for the ceiling fan install- something we hadn't even thought of. Also, they cleaned up after themselves with a vac that they brought along with them! Matt really knows his stuff. English is not his first language but we didn't have any issue communicating about the project details, especially in person. He is really detail-oriented. There are the first visitors we let in the house since stay-at-home orders were in effect. They wore masks and had shoe covers. This really gave us piece of mind. We look forward to working with them in the future. read more
