Alex installed new molding to my opening between the kitchen and living room. It required custom fitting the molding to the existing woodwork and included trimming some existing trim and adding an additional 3 moldings. And doing it on both sides of the opening. It required a lot of measuring and with an opening 12' wide, was a challenge for one person. It took Alex longer than I expected, but I was probably unrealistic in my expectations. I highly recommend this guy. Because of the strong winds in the area over the past few days, two wooden doors blew off its hinges. Since one of them has been covering our electrical panels, we needed someone to come fix the doors asap, before we closed for the day. We also had an interior door that we needed to be fixed. Alex was the first one I called up and he had given a per hour rate. I admit, I had still called up several other handyman services after but Alex had the best price for coming out same day. Called him back and he said he would be over soon. He completed the job fast and what we really liked was that he used was able to do it using the same material. Alex did not try to convince us we needed to completely replace the wood or that we even had to replace the whole door. Alex was honest and gave us cost-effective alternatives when we were worried we would have to replace the whole thing.
