I've had Robert from OC Fixit work on multiple projects for me including a vanity, toilet, mirror installation, leaky valves, and other remodeling work. He works extremely hard and is very particular about the quality of everything he does. He's knowledgeable, reliable, and can pretty much handle anything when it comes to remodeling and repairs. Robert is always prompt, communicates well, gives updates and ETAs, and shows up when he says he will. It's hard to find someone dependable like that these days. I highly recommend him and honestly can't say enough good things about the work he's done. read more

Robert came to fix a broken bifold laundry door that I thought had no hope . No problem...fixed! Highly recommended OC Fixit for handyman services. read more

Robert did an amazing job on a bathroom remodel that centered around an old cast iron tub replacement. The tub was sinking so there were foundational problems that he had to fix before installing a new shower. He completed the full demo in a day by himself. He took care of all the plumbing, new shower installation, new dry wall and new paint. He was also able to save the tile that was still good and reinstall the pieces that had come out. I would highly recommend Robert for construction type work and plan to use him again in the future as a property manager. read more

I cannot recommend Handyman Robert enough! He recently transformed a tricky under-stair closet into a dream pantry for us, and the results are incredible. Robert built custom L-shaped shelving that maximizes every single inch of the space. As you can see, he navigated the sloped ceiling perfectly to ensure we had as much storage as possible. The craftsmanship is top-notch; the shelves are perfectly level, sturdy, and painted with a beautiful clean finish. Now that we've filled it up, I appreciate the build quality even more. The shelves are holding heavy appliances, bulk goods, and bins without bowing at all. If you need custom carpentry or storage solutions, Robert is the guy to call. He turned a wasted space into the most functional room in our kitchen! read more

This guy is the real deal for installing mailboxes. Quick tip: purchase your mailbox with post then set up the appointment. My old standard mailbox was taken out by a drunk driver. I contacted Ugur and he responded immediately. He completed the job in less than two hours, he updated me with photos along the way after deciding on the final location/placement. The post was buried 32" and is extremely sturdy. Do yourself a favor and hire this guy because he will do it right the first time. read more

Robert does an incredible job! We've had him fix multiple items around our new home including removing a chandelier, patching and repainting holes, moving a light switch, adding an outlet, putting up shelves, fixing all loose cabinets, reinforcing our mantle, and replacing a couple of fixtures (pot filler and shower arm extender) and mounting TVs - just to name a few! He is very thorough and detail oriented, is pleasant to work with, priced fairly and overall just does a great job! We will continue calling him back for more jobs as they arise. We highly recommend Robert! read more

had a great experience with OC fixit. He mounted a sword and shield display for me, installed new blinds, and secured a light strip to the ceiling -- all done flawlessly. What really stood out was his attention to detail. I had recently rebuilt the walls, and the new framing made the window space slightly smaller than before. Without hesitation, he carefully cut and adjusted the blinds to fit perfectly. Everything looks clean, secure, and professionally done. On time, efficient, and clearly takes pride in his work. Highly recommend if you want the job done right the first time. read more

It took a few days for Robert to get to me job (it's Christmas) but he did, and we were very pleased. We had an old bathroom faucet that no longer provided hot water. He was able to install a new faucet with new hardware and it looks great and the instillation looks solid too. He does not charge by the hour but by the job and its labor. He was fair in all regards. Thank you, Robert! It's great to have a capable person to call when needed. read more

Friendly, knowledgeable, and open to suggestions/pivoting ideas. Hung a giant 71" circle mirror for me. The mirror was very heavy and didn't have a back to it originally. OC fixit made a custom back for the mirror and mounted it to the wall. It sounds simple but I had been asking professionals the best way to get this thing hung for 3 years. Finally, thanks to OC fixit, it hangs! read more

I had an issue with a chirping old smoke detector mounted on a ceiling that is 18 ft high in my front entry hallway (2 stories up!), with virtually no way to access it myself from the lofted 2nd floor. I found Robert on Yelp with great reviews, I called and spoke to him right away; he gave me a quote and was able to promptly come out the next day. He was also very clear up front during the initial consult about pricing and what he foresaw he may need to do to get to it (despite his very tall ladder!). He arrived promptly at the agreed time today with his son Matt who assisted and they were both so nice, and respectful as well! After watching Robert get the old smoke detector down (I'll admit I held my breath once or twice!!), we kept hearing a chirp (despite my installing all new detectors throughout the rest of my home!). We checked the new ones I had just attached and they were all fine. So Robert and Matt turned into detectives helping me track the sound down too: turns out one the old detectors that I had planned on disposing of by taking to electric waste disposal (it was still sitting nearby) was the culprit, and they helped me track it down! They took the old noisy unit(s) away for me--I VERY happily paid them just for the peace of mind of getting me all fixed up! After all--we all know the mind-bending insanity that an endlessly chirping smoke detector produces... right?! I'd very happily use Robert again for future handyman help--I programmed his info into my phone for future reference! Highly recommend!! :) read more

I contacted OC Fixit to pour a concrete slab for a new mailbox we were installing. Robert responded instantly to my request for service and showed up on time and completely prepared for the job. He finished in a timely fashion and cleaned up the entire area beautifully. He gave us detailed instructions for mailbox placement and concrete care. He was professional, organized, knowledgeable, and very careful and respectful. My husband and I were completely satisfied with the completed work and the cost of the job. Robert even drove out of his usual service area to accommodate our service request. We will definitely be calling him for any of our future handyman needs, and highly recommend him and the work he performs. Thanks OC Fixit! read more

I requested an estimate from Robert at OC Fixit to repair my ceiling holes from a beehive being removed the previous day. He responded immediately with a good price and was available the following day. Robert showed up on time, did a great job patching the drywall ceiling, and made sure I was happy with the outcome. Robert and his nephew Jake were wonderful. They came and did a lot of work. They replaced two bathroom faucets, recaulked our kitchen sink, and bought and installed two baseboard pieces. They worked hard and kept a clean work place. They made me double check their work and made sure I was okay with the decisions they were making. I was very pleased with their work. On his way out, I showed him another thing I wanted him to work on for a different day and he did it right then. He has a great work ethic and his quality is great all for an affordable price. I had a fantastic experience with OC Fixit! After sending out a project and getting multiple bids, Robert was quick to reply, very clear on his pricing, and very reasonable. He was punctual, easy to communicate with, friendly, knowledgeable, and arrived prepared to work. He even made multiple trips to Home Depot, as this project ended up being a bit more complicated than I initially thought, because my door was half an inch off standard measurements. Robert even met me at Home Depot one time and guided me on which door would be the best fit, and took additional time out of his schedule to help me decide. I highly recommend OC Fixit for any repair needs, especially door repairs and/or replacement. read more

Robert and his son had assembled multiple pieces of furniture for me. After completion, I showed them all the repair work I needed done in the home. Robert gave me a reasonable price for all the work instead of an hourly rate, which I appreciated. I hired them to do all the repairs at a later date, which he did. He was conscientious, arrived on time, didn't mess around and completed all the projects from minor plumbing to wood related projects in a satisfactory manner. Robert wants to do a good job and please the customer, which he did. I would definitely recommend Robert for both furniture assembly and home repairs and will use him again. read more

We had extensive sound proof paddings that needed to come off and other places were not able to remove the adhesive properly. Robert came and did it - no problem.
