Highly highly highly highly highly recommend Alex. I described what I needed and he knew right away. What the problem was when I messaged him here on yelp. All of the other services that were messaged didn't seem to quite understand. And he came in at an extremely reasonable rate. He got in and with precision fixed the problem almost immediately. I had already had a couple other people here that diddled and daddled with it, but never solved my problem. A few years back I bought a smart lock, but when they installed it, they did not use the included strike plate, and almost immediately we were having problems. The door itself was out of alignment, and all the previous techs had simply scraped away at the door plate, essentially putting a Band Aid on it. And not a real Band Aid, but one of those cheap ones that you buy at 99 cent store (RIP) that fall off two hours after wearing them. Alex, got in, moved the scrape plate which was improperly placed, applied sealant and totally cleaned it up. No more sticking. Turns out I had a few more and fixed them expertly at a very affordable charge. read more
