I had a Ring camera installed (and while I know Ring cameras can be a straightforward DIY project for some people), I chose to have it professionally installed because my HOA required documentation from the contractor. The team was incredibly responsive, professional, and accommodating throughout the entire process. They patiently waited while my HOA approval was being finalized and promptly provided all of the documentation my HOA requested. Once everything was approved, the installation went smoothly and was completed without any issues. I'm very happy with their work and truly appreciate their professionalism, patience, and excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend them! read more

Great customer service. Friendly staff. We would highly recommend this business. We looked up the business on Yelp. Mom and Pop shop.

Los Alamitos Lock Service has always been professional and fair with us. It's nice to know that if we need this type of service, we can trust Los Alamitos Lock Service to do a good job. read more

Fast service, super knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend them for all your locksmith needs.

I went in to replace a key to a locking mailbox that other places didn't have. They were very helpful and actually found a key that would work among their vast selection of keys. I was out of there in just a few minutes. Outstanding service and of course it worked! read more

I was super impressed with the professional service and timely manner in which I got my locks changed in new keys cut. Highly recommend this company and service and the people that work there! read more

My mom went to this place to get her key reprogrammed and experienced a high level of unprofessionalism. We waited for them to do this service, that should have taken 30 minutes, for three hours. Plus, when scheduling the required appointment, the person who was in charge of scheduling forgot to schedule the appointment causing us to return a day later. Unbelievably frustrating! I do not recommend this company for a reprogramming service. read more

I couldn't recommend this business more! They are a very reliable establishment with fair, pricing and friendly staff.

Nice people, excellent customer service. Made 5 key copies for me in five minutes and they all work perfectly. Recommended.

Frankie helped me make a key for a classic car that uses a special resistor chip. He knew how to determine what key I needed. Thank you

Took a car key purchased from Amazon and they cut it wrong, then told me the blank key was incorrect and charged me over $150 to get a key from them. Took the same exact blank Amazon key they cut with me to Ace hardware in Long Beach and they recut the same key and programmed it for $40. Los Al Lock Service had cut the blank incorrectly on purpose to sell their own overpriced key. I say on purpose because the Ace guy said no competent locksmith would have cut the key so incorrectly to not match the original key. Never going back here. Shame as it's a local shop I would support. read more

Over prized for a singular battery. Highly recommend you find out what battery you need and buy it on Amazon.

Great job cutting some duplicate keys for me and very professional and courteous! The staff was friendly and very attentive. I highly recommend this business. Thank you! read more

I called and the man I spoke with was so honest. He said a little cleaning will help with the lock/bolt. He said he can even help me through it over the phone. Wow! Above and beyond service. Thank you! read more

I used walk-in service to rekey all our new locks and doorsets (two different brands) to one key. We are in the middle of a major renovation. I am planning to use them again tomorrow. I called before coming and they were so helpful (I know nothing about locks!). I was able to wait while they did the rekeying. Prices seams reasonable. Excellent and friendly service! Parking lot has ample space. Area to sit and wait while they did the rekeying. Several were coming in for car keys. Services seem very diverse. read more

needed a lock cut off at our storage facility. they were a little late for the appointment but called to let us know they were on their way. it was actually a difficult job but they still did great work. read more

One of the few brick & mortars still providing this excellent service. Always appreciative of their professionalism.

Friendly skilled fast service for key duplication. Keys worked just fine and great price.

Totally professional, reasonable and courteous. Jimmy and the other guy :) were great. We'll have them redo all the locks on our properties. read more

I recently purchased a 7 year old car that only came with one FOB key. I called numerous dealerships and multiple locksmiths to try to get a second FOB key and was told by ALL of them that they couldn't help me as my particular remote key was no longer made. I made one last desperate attempt by calling Zach at Los Alamitos lock service. He was a total detective and went to work trying to find me the correct key that would work for my car. After his extraordinary sleuthing that I know took a lot of time and effort, he was successful and was able to program a second key for me. I rarely write reviews, but you just don't see that kind of customer service anymore and I wanted to give a big shout out to this business for going above and beyond to help me. read more

Los Alamitos Locks always provides great service. They are professional and quick. They are always on time and finish in a timely manner.

Cory did a fantastic job. He worked on my truck snug top and I'm now able to open it!

my husband called and they literally saved me and got me back into my house in 10 min thank you read more

After having some keys cut here a few years ago, I went back when we needed to have multiple locks in the house re-keyed. The work was impeccable and the people doing the work were professional and knowledgeable. It feels weird sometimes to appreciate how easy it is to manage all the locks on the property now, but it really has made such a difference. The prices were very fair as well. I highly recommend having Los Alamitos Lock Service handle your home security needs. read more

Zack is the best! Always helpful and friendly! Fair prices and quick service. Nice to have this shop in town. Keep up the great work, guys!

I'm giving this Locksmith four stars already and I haven't done business at their shop yet. I Called moments ago with several questions regarding a new key for my Hyundai Sonata, I spoke with Jimmy. He was so helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. I will be going over within the next 7 days to get a new key for my car just wanted to say thanks so much for being patient having a can do attitude and answering all of my questions. I wish that customer service was like this everywhere that we go now. read more

Our business is located in Los Alamitos also. Robert and Los Alamitos Lock has again saved the day and for a great price. We have security cameras that Robert and his crew installed in 2019. We just had them add a couple new cameras and move some existing cameras. He, Oliver and Jimmy made sure everything was working perfectly. They even had to troubleshoot some other issues and made sure we were up and running 100%. In the past we've had them re-key all our units and they are always available for quick service. I HIGHLY recommend Los Alamitos Lock Service! Thank you Robert!! read more

This company has helped me and friends for over a year and plan to keep coming back. We don't trust anyone else to help with locksmith services. I would highly recommend these guys. read more

Fast service. Fair price. Friendly. Highly recommend. These guys Wii be my new locksmith company.

We had to rekey/fob our 2014 Honda Odyssey. Jimmy ordered the parts and had it reprogrammed within 5 days. It probably would have been even sooner if it hadn't been over the weekend. It was under 300 for 2 new units and the reprogramming. We'll definitely be back in the future. read more

After being scammed by a different "locksmith" and left in a vulnerable situation, I called Los Al Lock and even with a full schedule, Zach was able to accommodate my situation that same day for lock rekeying. One of their techs, Jimmy arrived not long after making the appointment. He was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Pricing was fair and upfront, customer service is great and the quality of work backs it up, highly recommended. read more

I needed keys made and popped in here since EVERYONE knows, the key copying at Lowe's or Home Depot just is not the same. Easy in and out. We actually had some problems with a door in house, so I asked if they would be able to fix our issues. I was given a number that I can text videos and photos too. Got home and reached out to them. They were prompt to respond and super informative with what they thought might be the problem. I actually took longer to respond since I needed to find pieces. We were able to set up an appointment quickly. Kyle showed up~ he called to let me know when he'd arrive and showed up within the time schedule they had mentioned via text. He resolved our one door problem and I had another issue with another door and he fixed that too! Thanks! read more

We initially had a locksmith come to rekey our new house via our homeowners warranty. What a mistake. That locksmith said we need to have a lock cut/replaced and quoted us a very high price. After multiple back and forth sessions, I was fed up. We heard about Los Alamitos Lock Service from a friend and they have been outstanding. Not only are their prices more than fair, but they are very professional and courteous. When we called for a rekey, they actually had someone out that afternoon (Chris). He was able to complete almost everything except 2 doors that had broken locks. Chris was great and we will definitely be using them for all of our locksmith needs. read more

Excellent service and response time from this family owned business. Anything from cutting a new key to security systems.

Prompt, efficient service. Tech was professional and did a good job. Highly recommend.

My lock was getting harder and harder to open -for the key to turn. I called Los Alamitos lock service because I live in Los Alamitos and like to use local owned businesses. We've used Los Alamitos Lock Service several times in the past ten years, with our most recent service being this afternoon. Our front door lock set was broken and Thomas stopped by, figured out the issue, ordered the parts and made the repair today. Price was fair and repairs were done perfectly.
