Ruben responded immediately to my inquiry. He was extremely professional and helpful in updating our home security. He provided us a quote to take over our existing home security with some upgrades and the pricing was extremely competitive. Ruben and Miquel installed the new system upgrade and some new security cameras within 4 days from the day he provided us the quote. That was fast!! The installation was done in a few hours, clean, professional and working perfectly. Ruben and his team took the time to explain how to use the new system and set us up nicely. We could not be more pleased with the service and installation. We would definitely recommend them and can see why their reviews are so positive. read more

I had Ruben and his team replace 11 network cables for an existing outdoor security camera system that was failing one camera at a time due to a previous installers poor cable selection and installation. Some installers quoted a 3 day job, others delayed and seemingly didn't care to help. Ruben and team fixed all 11 runs one long day and they were phenomenal from planning, communication between themselves and myself. They took videos on the roof to show the route they took and the clean paths. Top to bottom best experience for me. Headache over. Thank you Ruben. read more

This company has been an absolute nightmare to work with. Stay clear. Customer service is incompetent and rude!

The entire experience with DPS Security Services was excellent. No pressure was made on options. What I wanted was respected as well as some good recommendations were made. So far all has worked well. Ruben was very straightforward and honest about the pricing. He didnt charge me a big upfront fee for installation like some other quotes that I got. Saved me a lot of money. Miguel came to install the system and he was great. He listened to my concerns and gave me advice on what to consider even if it saved me money. I never felt like he was trying to up sell me. He worked diligently and got the devices installed in a reasonable amount of time. Then when walking through the system he took his time to show me the functions multiple times to make sure I understood how the system works. Overall I am very happy and would recommend DPS to anyone looking to install an alarm in their home. We plan to use them again if we move or get another place. My family feels safer after their service. read more

It's so rare these days to find a business that delivers exactly what they say they will. I can't speak more highly of Ruben, Miguel and the rest of the team. Every single interaction with them was pleasant and professional, from the initial phone call to the installation of the alarm system and security cameras and follow up afterwards for minor adjustments to camera angles. Miguel installed our alarm system and was so knowledgeable. He provided valuable suggestions about placement of various equipment and patiently explained the many features of our new alarm. The entire team installed our camera system and it was amazing to see how efficiently they worked. I was even more impressed by how much they all genuinely enjoy their jobs, which really showed in their work. They really took the time to make sure everything was done neatly and professionally. Ruben and Miguel are the best: true professionals in the home security business. I appreciate both Ruben and Miguel's flexibility, transparency, accountability, and communication. I've been with ADT for several years in multiple homes. Recently, I decided to use a local authorized ADT dealer for new install, rather than using ADT's general line. This experience is much better. There is a streamlined method of direct communication. Ruben was very accommodating with my busy and changing schedule. Both Miguel and Ruben were able to address all my questions and concerns. I look forward to using them again on future projects. Keep up the excellent work! Additional details: On the day of the install: Miguel showed up with booties and protective floor coverings. I appreciate this level of detail and attention since I just had new flooring installed. Miguel also used a lever to install the control panel, and did a clean installation of the system. read more

We just moved into a new home in Lake Forest. We were debating Ring alarm vs ADT. Ruben came out for a consultation and we decided to go with ADT. We are so glad we did! Our home is around 4000 Sq ft and Miguel came out today and installed the entire system. He definitely knew what he was doing. He took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure I understood. He also took the time to ensure that door contact sensors matched my door so we don't put a white sensor on our black doors. He painted them to match our doors. ADT also offers glass shatter sensors that Ring system did not offer. We are so happy we went with DPS Security Services and got the ADT system. Thank you Ruben and Miguel. Seriously, you guys are awesome! read more

Amazing customer service! Everything from start to finish was great. Based on their other reviews I only called them. Ruben got back to me quickly and went over my needs. His price was beyond fair and said if I needed to add other features later I could. They were also able to come out later in the week to install. Miguel arrived on time and after touring the house and discussing options of where things could be placed he got right to work. He answered all of mine and my husband's questions. He showed us how everything worked and made sure we understood our system. He left everything clean and tidy. Both of these gentleman exceeded my expectations. read more

He was able to set up the install that same week! The installer Miguel was amazing as well. He took his time and did an excellent job replacing sensors, and even matching the colors of the sensors to the doors. He made sure the system not only worked but was aesthetically pleasing to me!
