I spoke to someone about getting a key/fob for my Mitsubishi Lancer, yesterday (04.19.21) @ 9:48PM. I didn't get a call back until 12:29 AM. Unfortunately after waiting 2 hours and by reading the reviews of fast service, I assumed okay maybe they are not coming. Which I then went to sleep being that I had work in the morning. I called back in the morning (04.20.21 @8:17AM) and set an appointment for when I get off today. When I spoke to the locksmith this morning he did give me an estimation on the cost after I had asked. While I was at work I did my own research on aftermarket fobs for my car; priced around 50-70 dollars. I texted the locksmith and asked, "If I get my own fob can you just program it ?" He responded yep. I then ask what the difference in price would be from purchasing my own and having him do the labor vs doing everything at once. No response yet. Since its getting closer to the time I am just going to pay the full cost because I do need to drive my car soon. Would of been nice though to save a little money because it seems like I am paying 200 for labor alone. I will update my review once I meet with the locksmith and if I am able to get the assistance that I need. At the end of the day I judge based on service and satisfaction. Soon as my car starts, I will change to a higher review. read more

My stomach churned when I realized I'd just licked myself out of my apartment as I left for work. I wasn't able to reach the property manager so I tapped my yelp icon and discovered this local company. They responded really fast and soon had my garage door open so I could get my spare keys. Polite, quick and reasonably priced .... so much easier than I expected. Thank you

Matt was great and helped me find and install an uncommon handle set on my security door. I previously bought two different sets for it and neither worked. We were thinking of potentially just changing the door out, but I decided to try calling GoKey to see if they could help. Matt ordered the part and came out and installed it quickly even dealing with the wonky screen door. Thanks Matt! read more

Rekeyed my locks in just a few minutes and even thru in a couple extra keys. Great service.

Wow! So pleased with the service Go Key has provided me. From the time Go Key arrived, until the job was done, changing my locks and creating a new dead bolt, when none existed. The amount of experience showed in their work & effort was undeniable. Matt was prompt in returning my phone call. They cleaned up after themselves when the job was completed. He Arrived on time as promised for our appointment. Best part was, there were no hidden fees. "Just an A+ overall" I Highly recommend Go Key. I will definitely use this company again. Thank you so much Matt and your team for job well done. read more

These guys are top notch. I had an issue with a lockout and needed to gain access and change the locks on a commercial property in Long Beach. Called Matt and he said as soon as he finished he would call back and make arrangements to take care of the problem. He called back within the hour and said he would have someone go out to the location and take care of my concerns.. Eli, his partner and brother, called me back in about 15 minutes , took the address, and proceeded to handle all the details that we discussed in a very professional, timely, and courteous manner. In times when problems arise and you need quick and professional response, its nice to know that there are still top quality companies around that you can count on. They called back to thank me for the project and I said I would definitely use them in the future for any locksmith work. Great job guys!!!!! read more

Matt was so cool on the phone and he got Clay out to us right away. Matt also gave us a quote upfront, which is awesome because I've dealt with locksmith companies that are shady so this made me feel at ease. He came in, grabbed his tools and we were in in under five minutes. Thank you for making a stressful situation a breeze! read more

I found these guys on Yelp, they were very quick, friendly, and to the point. I called them around 1-2p, the job was done before 6p. I couldnt have asked for better service. Thank you guys, and I'll be sure to call you again when I need a locksmith read more

All I have to say is, Matt is a lifesaver! We stupidly locked our Dogwalker out (shout out to Beau, Calmcaninelbc. Highly recommend) and Matt came to the rescue. He was there within 15 minutes and was so nice! Matt was quick to respond and kept communication open with us since we couldn't be there physically. Thank you so much GoKey! Matt came on time. Super friendly and rekeyed 3 of my doors in less than an hour. I highly recommend GoKey

Matt is a very diligent, honest and gives sound professional advice. For security reasons, I needed to re-key my lock because the condo unit was owned by someone else for 8 years prior to me. My lock was a very tricky lock to work on but he did not give up until the job was done and still charged me the same amount. He had to come back three times to get everything working fine because whoever installed the initial lock in my condo really messed up the inner workings of the lock big time. If I ever need locksmith service in the future, I would not look anywhere else. Matt is the guy to go to. read more

Matt is good as gold. Came out late on a Sunday, solved a seemingly unsolvable problem and left me super happy that I trusted his 5 star yelp rating. Work was COMPETENT and COMPLETE. Charges reasonable and on time (even on a Sunday). Wasn't looking for anything more than that. Thanks and Good wishes Matthew. read more

Outstanding service! If we could give more the 5 stars, I would. I called Matt to get some advice and set up an appointment to rekey our newly purchased home in Lakewood. He answered the phone right away, was friendly and helpful (even when I asked what I thought were a couple of silly questions about rekeying vs. putting in a whole new lock). Matt was helpful, to the point, and easy to schedule an appointment with for a couple of days out. He arrived right on time at 9am at our new house--took a look at the doors we needed service on, and got right to work. He even went so far as to let us know he could actually replace the lock mechanism on our back door for close to (if not at) the same price as just re-keying! My hubby and I were very impressed. Matt was professional, easy-going, and worked very quickly. Hubs and I were relieved to have that piece of our new house taken care of so fast and efficiently. HIGHLY recommend you utilize GoKey for your rekey and locksmith needs--these guys are great! read more

When my landlord wouldn't respond to me, I was beginning to think I might have to spend the night on my porch... :P I decided to give GoKey a call and Nick arrived ASAP- I'm talking a little less than twenty minutes! In the quick time it took to open the locks, he was super friendly, positive, and helpful. Thank you GoKey and thank you Nick! :) Highly recommend using these guys! read more

I was out stranded with my car and no keys! Didn't have any access to a spare, so I was bugging out. Called the dealership to see how I can get a new one made. I would have had to tow my car to the dealership, have them reprogram the cars computer for a new fob, then make me a new key. Total charge: a bit over 600 bucks. That's when I called GoKey and spoke with Matt. Not only did he charge me far far far less, he was mobile and able to come to me! More often than not, people get taken advantage of in a time of crisis but I felt like I was in good hands with these guys. Don't hesitate to call and ask what they can do for you. They can basically do it all! read more
