The bibimbap was ok, not the best I had, there was too much sprout in the dish, and didn't have enough beef. But the fried chicken were great, very good flavor and crispy.

Tofu bibimbap - delicious, A+

I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed coming here when I need something to eat thats fast casual but not completely fast food. After climbing on Saturday night, I was hungry and wanted some soup. My favorite Korean soup is any kind of soondubu, which is a tofu soup. I love tofu, grew up eating it and its a staple in my diet. I came in here around 9pm and the owner (ahjussi- means middle ages man or boss) is always very nice to me. I ordered the seafood tofu soup, mild, no spice. He rang me up and my order came to a little over $15 with tax and with tip, was under $20 for me. You get a little buzzer that lights up when your food is ready. Ahjussi was nice and brought me my soup as it was very hot and steaming. I sat in front of one of the TVs and happily watched K pop videos while having my very hot and satisfying tofu soup. Even though I ordered it mild, its still a little spicy so be prepared for that. I can only handle mild. There were a few mussels in it, some squid and a nice plump shrimp. Soondobu was a little smaller than at other places but I didnt mind. It also comes with white rice (not purple) and the egg is already in the tofu soup. Also, note, no banchan (side dishes) is served but remember this is fast casual Korean. If you want an authentic Korean food experience, go to a tradition tofu soup house like The Stone Korean Tofu House in Mesa. My experience at GOGI made me want to take a trip to South Korea - I have always wanted to visit! Overall, I love this place and also know you're supporting local too. Ill be back again and again!

Spicy Pork Bulgogi Hot Stone Bibimbap

A quick craving for bibimbap led me here. It's a self seating, order at the front restaurant. I orders the spicy pork bibimbap in a hot stone. Have no complaints on the food it was good. All parts of the bowl mixed well and was very balanced. Pork was not spicy but that is fine as they give you a bottle of sauce to adjust the heat to your liking.

안녕하세요, This is a great place to check out Korean dishes without being yelled at by an 아줌마. This location has some new dishes and some spicy options. It is located in a plaza right next to Snowtime (convenient for dessert). The owners and staff are friendly and dishes arrive hot and freshly made. I love the many options of noodles, rice or soups/stews. If you like seafood you have to try the seafood pancake The dishes are a fusion of korean dishes with American palates which makes the food more appealing for those who may be overwhelmed by trying new dishes they have seen on a K-drama or in a K-pop video. Great fried chicken! They also have great tradional style dishes of gogi=meat or bap=cooked rice, chigae=stew, etc. I had their spicy pork with udon noodles which is usually a soup but came as a stew. It came in a flavorful gochujang sauce. It was a bit spicy tempered by a sweetness. As a Korean I can taste that recipes are a bit sweeter than traditional dishes, but that is not a bad thing. The dining area is relatively quiet so you can carry on conversations or enjoy some of the K-pop hits. The prices are fair and the serving sizes are sufficient. This is a friendly place to expand your palate and branch out to try some flavorful options. 잘 먹겠습니다!

Stopped by at Gogi for some bibimbap and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious and owner gave great service. Try the Korean beer as well. Enjoy!

Vegetable yakisoba noodle with chicken and shrimp
Haneen O.

Met up with some folks for dinner here on a Friday evening. I don't find myself in this part of town often but it seemed fairly happening. This spot wasn't too busy when we arrived which was good. I ordered the veggie yakisoba and the protein choices were chicken or shrimp. I asked if I could get tofu instead since I prefer that. We grabbed a table outside and waited for our food. We were given buzzers to notify us when our dishes were ready. I grabbed our food from inside and noticed that mine had both chicken and shrimp in it, but I decided it was fine and ate my bowl. I liked it, I added some chili sauce since it was in the sweet side. Not too many shrimp pieces but there was enough chicken and veggies. I also tried the kimchi fries which were good. Service was friendly and our table enjoyed their food. I'd come back and try some different dishes if I'm in the area.

The food is great, the portions are sizable, and the manager is very friendly. Will be coming back here!

Tekbokki

We have become regulars since we don't want this place to close! The jjampong, jjajameyong and tekbokki are some of the best I r had. The soups are awesome too! Can't say enough about this place, love love!

Ramen regular flavor with pork dumplings
Yu W.

The fried chicken was an easy 10/10--crispy, juicy, and packed with rich garlic flavor. The thick sauce complemented the chicken perfectly, and the portion size was huge, making it well worth the price. The restaurant itself was clean, conveniently located, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent--the server was always friendly. However, the ramen was just alright. It tasted almost identical to Shin Ramen straight out of the package. Don't get me wrong, I love Shin Ramen, but if that's what I wanted, I would've just made it at home. If you're coming here, I'd definitely recommend the fried chicken, but maybe skip the ramen.

Galbi Bento Box
Elliot S.

I honestly love this place. I usually order the Galbi or Bulgogi Bento Box, both amazing. The sweet and salty combo of their meat marinade is delicious. The service is always great, it's the same guy working the counter every time I go in and he's really friendly. I highly recommend this place, it has a very clean atmosphere and always hits the spot.

Kimchi Pancake- half eaten before I remembered taking a picture lol

Yess!!! Finally a good Korean food location in the Valley. All the food we ordered were delicious and some I forgot to take a picture Let's start off with their Bulgogi Bibimbap. 5/5(Don't order this TOGo since the experience is to have it cook on the stone plate to get that crispy rice texture before mixing it with the variety of veggies (sesame oil, and kimchi flavor veggies) and meat. Basically like a Korean fried rice dish. Kimchi pancake.- 5/5. Perfectly crispy on the outside with variety of Korean veggies on the inside and not too salty. This was a a god size where you can size it with others as an appetizer. Orange chicken- I didn't taste it, but my mother in law enjoyed it and noted it was crispy to her liking. As for the restaurant itself, it was clean and the staffs were friendly.

Garlic Fried Chicken

Don't usual give 5 stars to "fast food" & was a little doubtful when we were walking up. But as soon as we walked it, my mind & attitude changed. It didn't smell greasy, to restaurant was clean, bright, & nicely decorated. The gentleman was very nice. The food...OMG fried chicken as I've always dreamed of! It's what you want & hardly ever get...crispy, but the light crunchy kind. So meaty, juicy, & not overly saucy. As Golidlocks would say, "Just right!" The other dishes were just as satisfying, but I came for the fried chicken & did not disappoint! Also loved walking out of there not smelling like my food.

Great location and easy to get to just off of the I-10 and Ray Road in Chandler. There is ample parking with valet service available. As you walk up to the entrance you are greeted by handsome hosts. There is an open air patio entrance to the bar. This is where we met our group. We gathered here until the rest of the party arrived for us to be seated. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the lovely lounge area. After everyone arrived, we were graciously escorted to our dining tables. There were club seating and tables. The rest of the dining room had booths and tables suitable for intimate or larger groups. Lighting was low and moody. I loved the individual lamps at each table. Decoration was sophisticated and elegant. The stage ran the length of the dining room so that no matter where you sat, you had some view of the live entertainment. And live entertainment it was! Exceptional performances by the house band that sounded just as good and sometimes better than the original recordings! That was definitely a highlight and kept the mood throughout our dining experience. The singer was phenomenal! Music was soulful and jazzy. Our service was great. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional servers. The managers and proprietors made their rounds in such sophistication. I loved that. You can tell they care about the quality of their environment and their employees. I observed, who I would assume to be the proprietor, observing a server in training. He gently and obscurely assisted him in a service but did not upstage him. And I just thought it was top tier and showed a quiet luxury in leadership and professionalism. This left a huge impression on how he runs his business. The food was delectable and prepared with prestige and precision. The salmon was cooked to perfection with a nice crust and complimentary sauce. Hubby had short ribs and noted the tenderness and loved the potatoes. The table side favorites were the sweet potato soufflé and spinach dip with toast edges. The house bread and spread was a hit as well. My apple walnut salad was flavorful. Portions were perfect. I also had a mocktail of blackberry, mint and lemon. Very refreshing. Everything was just wonderful. We look forward to the next dining experience. I especially would like to attend the Gospel Brunch. Well done!

An excellent dining experience!…read more The food was delicious, from the appetizers to the salad/soup to the entrees; the quality was a pleasant surprise. Especially the Chicken Parm and Shrimp/Scallion Linguine, the chicken and seafood were cooked to perfection, and the seasoning paired quite nicely. Colton, our waiter, was professional, attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, in addition to being accommodating to our 1-year-old daughter (who also deserves a five-star rating for being such a good girl). The building, from the exterior, with its upper level covered in plant life, to the quite Italian interior, made for an appropriate dining atmosphere. With the back of house providing excellent food and Colton providing excellent service, our evening was elevated. Thank you for the meal Carrabba's!

After looking over the menu, we ordered the Thai sausage and the steamed mussels to start off with. The Thai sausage was unremarkable, the flavors slightly bland. The steamed mussels were good; there's just something about mussels and basil that go well together. For our main entrees, we ordered the pad woon sen with shrimp and the pad thai with shrimp. Both dishes were ordered medium spicy. The pad woon sen was perfectly to our tastes with the right amount of spice. The noodles to vegetable ratio was also satisfactory. The pad thai however, was a way too saucy for our preferences. Even though we ordered both dishes at medium spice, the pad thai was way spicier. What we really appreciated about this place was that their portion sizes were generous, for the pricier dishes at least. Overall, service was fast, attentive, and friendly.
