Fast, casual Korean food that doesn't skimp on quality. We came here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised with the extensive menu. The two dishes we got were delicious and of good portion size. My only complaint is I wish it was spicer -- not sure if they were trying to accommodate for a less spice-acclimated palette, but no need! I also wish they had side dishes that came with the entrees like other Korean restaurants. We ordered the Bulgogi Bento Box, Shrimp Noodles and Garlic Chicken Wings. Everything was phenomenal and tasted exactly the same as it did when I travelled to South Korea! The Bulgogi was tender with a sweet and salty taste. The accompaniments in the bento box was really good with the onion pancake being my favorite. The shrimp noodles were jam packed with flavor with a very tasty sauce. The garlic chicken wings had just enough garlic with a little kick of heat. I stumbled across this location, looking for Linner. I'm used to sites being very greasy, but this place wasn't one of those places. Which I am thankful for. The silver container in my edamame picture is what they deliver the rice in. I like that, it allows me to hold my rice and eat my food at once, instead of mixing it all together. I got the kung pao combination, I couldn't decide what to get, so I picked the best of all. I really like how they peel back the shrimp shells, so you get the most of your meal. They have soju for anyone interested. Sadly I was working and in a hurry. The food was very good, not too greasy but also not too dry. The edamame was $5.99 and you get a lot of it. It's a order and pay at the front style restaurant. So appetizers come out the same time as your meal. We love the original Gogi, so we were super excited for this second restaurant to open closer to us. This concept is a bit more fast food/self serve than their other restaurant. Definitely a more consolidated menu, heavy on the bento boxes. I do like that they offer their fried chicken in a smaller increments, but I do wish there was an option to order 3 pieces instead of 6 or 12. Or at least a sample of all their flavors. I like to try everything! I also missed the assortments of banchan. The bento came with a tiny bit of kimchi, but my bibimbap did not. I did ask for more and they gladly gave me some. This is a great location nestled between the living room and snow time which is also an amazing concept restaurant of theirs. Go there after for dessert! Our favorite Korean restaurant was closed, and we still wanted Korean food. I remember bookmarking this spot, so I suggested this spot in lieu. It was kismet. The menu is approachable and definitive especially if you are familiar with popular and signature Korean dishes. The price is fair for the quantity, the meticulous preparation, and superb quality in the meat. Everything came our piping and sizzling hot - just like it came from my mom's kitchen. We all ordered the bulgogi bibimbap. In hindsight, we wish someone would have ordered the spicy pork and/or the chicken. If there were a couple of recommendations: first, it would be a trio of the beef, pork, and chicken combined as a bibimbap plate, and secondly, having kimchi as part of the bibimbap. We ordered the Korean chicken wings on a whim, and they were fantastic! They were large and extra crispy yet sticky with an incredible garlic sauce. They were more sweet than garlicky, but the sauce was flavorful. We want to try the green onion wings next time. There are plenty of dishes we are looking forward to trying as we work through their menu. The service was friendly, helpful, and efficient. I thought I made a mistake with the order, and the manager - without any hesitation - was so eager to make sure that I was taken care of. She was gracious and made me feel comfortable reviewing my order. The restaurant is clean and orderly. There was pleasant music in the background and a relaxing scene on the large screen tv. The restaurant has plenty of seating in their patio and as well as their interior dining with split booth tables and high top tables. I did try a unique Korean alcoholic beverage that I mistakenly thought was Korean soda - oops! It was fun to try and share. My husband and brother were hoping they had Korean beers.
