    Spicy Pork Bulgogi Bowl

The spicy pork kimbap was delicious, warm & fresh. The spicy chicken bulgogi bento was tasty. And the spicy pork bulgogi bowl had a nice kick. Enjoyed all the dishes!

We went here late night around 9PM to try it out because it had good reviews and now we know why. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband got the bulgogi entree and I asked for the japchae with tofu. We also got an order of veggie fried rice and it's a dang good fried rice. The owner was very nice and patient while we looked at the menu and the place itself was cute and clean. Definitely recommend!

The bibimbap was ok, not the best I had, there was too much sprout in the dish, and didn't have enough beef. But the fried chicken were great, very good flavor and crispy.

    Tofu bibimbap - delicious, A+

I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed coming here when I need something to eat thats fast casual but not completely fast food. After climbing on Saturday night, I was hungry and wanted some soup. My favorite Korean soup is any kind of soondubu, which is a tofu soup. I love tofu, grew up eating it and its a staple in my diet. I came in here around 9pm and the owner (ahjussi- means middle ages man or boss) is always very nice to me. I ordered the seafood tofu soup, mild, no spice. He rang me up and my order came to a little over $15 with tax and with tip, was under $20 for me. You get a little buzzer that lights up when your food is ready. Ahjussi was nice and brought me my soup as it was very hot and steaming. I sat in front of one of the TVs and happily watched K pop videos while having my very hot and satisfying tofu soup. Even though I ordered it mild, its still a little spicy so be prepared for that. I can only handle mild. There were a few mussels in it, some squid and a nice plump shrimp. Soondobu was a little smaller than at other places but I didnt mind. It also comes with white rice (not purple) and the egg is already in the tofu soup. Also, note, no banchan (side dishes) is served but remember this is fast casual Korean. If you want an authentic Korean food experience, go to a tradition tofu soup house like The Stone Korean Tofu House in Mesa. My experience at GOGI made me want to take a trip to South Korea - I have always wanted to visit! Overall, I love this place and also know you're supporting local too. Ill be back again and again!

Not from the Arizona area, but still a professional when it comes to eating good Korean food! I was really glad that the area had something so convenient for me to enjoy, along with the flavor being there! I thoroughly enjoyed this family's restaurant, I felt that the food was not oily and relatively well portioned for the price. The restaurant is clean, there is lots of seating, the menu is straightforward. This is just a personal preference, but I was a little bit sad that they didn't have any Korean sides. I would have really enjoyed some kimchi or even some radish has an optional side.

This was my first time visiting Arizona, and I'm so glad I trusted my gut and gave this place a try! The portions were huge, easily enough to share among 3-4 people. My partner and I really enjoyed our meals, and everything was just as delicious as it looked. The dining area was clean, and the customer service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and never made us feel rushed. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Arizona!

Spicy Pork Bulgogi Hot Stone Bibimbap

A quick craving for bibimbap led me here. It's a self seating, order at the front restaurant. I orders the spicy pork bibimbap in a hot stone. Have no complaints on the food it was good. All parts of the bowl mixed well and was very balanced. Pork was not spicy but that is fine as they give you a bottle of sauce to adjust the heat to your liking.

안녕하세요, This is a great place to check out Korean dishes without being yelled at by an 아줌마. This location has some new dishes and some spicy options. It is located in a plaza right next to Snowtime (convenient for dessert). The owners and staff are friendly and dishes arrive hot and freshly made. I love the many options of noodles, rice or soups/stews. If you like seafood you have to try the seafood pancake The dishes are a fusion of korean dishes with American palates which makes the food more appealing for those who may be overwhelmed by trying new dishes they have seen on a K-drama or in a K-pop video. Great fried chicken! They also have great tradional style dishes of gogi=meat or bap=cooked rice, chigae=stew, etc. I had their spicy pork with udon noodles which is usually a soup but came as a stew. It came in a flavorful gochujang sauce. It was a bit spicy tempered by a sweetness. As a Korean I can taste that recipes are a bit sweeter than traditional dishes, but that is not a bad thing. The dining area is relatively quiet so you can carry on conversations or enjoy some of the K-pop hits. The prices are fair and the serving sizes are sufficient. This is a friendly place to expand your palate and branch out to try some flavorful options. 잘 먹겠습니다!

Vegetable yakisoba noodle with chicken and shrimp
    Haneen O.

Met up with some folks for dinner here on a Friday evening. I don't find myself in this part of town often but it seemed fairly happening. This spot wasn't too busy when we arrived which was good. I ordered the veggie yakisoba and the protein choices were chicken or shrimp. I asked if I could get tofu instead since I prefer that. We grabbed a table outside and waited for our food. We were given buzzers to notify us when our dishes were ready. I grabbed our food from inside and noticed that mine had both chicken and shrimp in it, but I decided it was fine and ate my bowl. I liked it, I added some chili sauce since it was in the sweet side. Not too many shrimp pieces but there was enough chicken and veggies. I also tried the kimchi fries which were good. Service was friendly and our table enjoyed their food. I'd come back and try some different dishes if I'm in the area.

Ramen regular flavor with pork dumplings

The fried chicken was an easy 10/10--crispy, juicy, and packed with rich garlic flavor. The thick sauce complemented the chicken perfectly, and the portion size was huge, making it well worth the price. The restaurant itself was clean, conveniently located, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent--the server was always friendly. However, the ramen was just alright. It tasted almost identical to Shin Ramen straight out of the package. Don't get me wrong, I love Shin Ramen, but if that's what I wanted, I would've just made it at home. If you're coming here, I'd definitely recommend the fried chicken, but maybe skip the ramen.

    Galbi Bento Box
    Elliot S.

I honestly love this place. I usually order the Galbi or Bulgogi Bento Box, both amazing. The sweet and salty combo of their meat marinade is delicious. The service is always great, it's the same guy working the counter every time I go in and he's really friendly. I highly recommend this place, it has a very clean atmosphere and always hits the spot.

Stopped by at Gogi for some bibimbap and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious and owner gave great service. Try the Korean beer as well. Enjoy!

My friend and I went for the all White party on the Fourth of July. It was so nice to see the array of white outfits, and even before that, we were impressed by the complementary valet (which work off of donation). We had reservations, thankfully, because it was a packed house. The dining area very much gives what it's supposed to, and feels very nice, yet fun. The franchise band was playing, and babyy I would've just came for their concert! That lead singer is a powerhouse, and altogether they really set the tone for the night and created such a special and entertaining ambience. The food was equally as stimulating. From the appetizers, my delicious mocktail, to the entrées, my taste buds were literally rejoicing. This place hit so many marks, really this is a must when you come to this area. My senses were in shambles all night long and I was in heaven! We got the Rockefeller oysters appetizer (so good), as well as the crabcakes and greens (also delicious). For entrées, we ordered the salmon and the ribs. The ribs were fantastic, as we are the sides of the carrots and creamed corn. The only issue we had this evening, was with the salmon. We were pretty disappointed, especially since our server really recommended it, and spoke to its flavor. However, when it arrived, it was really lacking said flavor. It was borderline bland. However, this was very quickly rectified when we spoke to our server then the manager. He was really pleasant and helpful, making it so that this was a non-issue. I will most definitely be back, and soon!

After looking over the menu, we ordered the Thai sausage and the steamed mussels to start off with. The Thai sausage was unremarkable, the flavors slightly bland. The steamed mussels were good; there's just something about mussels and basil that go well together. For our main entrees, we ordered the pad woon sen with shrimp and the pad thai with shrimp. Both dishes were ordered medium spicy. The pad woon sen was perfectly to our tastes with the right amount of spice. The noodles to vegetable ratio was also satisfactory. The pad thai however, was a way too saucy for our preferences. Even though we ordered both dishes at medium spice, the pad thai was way spicier. What we really appreciated about this place was that their portion sizes were generous, for the pricier dishes at least. Overall, service was fast, attentive, and friendly.
