COVID-19 - Called for a curbside pickup order. Was told the only have inside pickup. Ordered anyway. Arrived, went in front door and was directed to a "VERY SMALL" pickup room. Went in to find, 3 servers hanging out with the two pickup employees behind the counter chatting away. One with mask under her chin and some others wearing mask under their nose. Called the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager. I explained what happened. He said I could have ordered curbside pickup. I explained I was told the do not have curbside pickup. He apologized and said that was unacceptable and then said he was going to counsel the employees. When I tell you that this lady wanted to fight, I am Not exagerating. I am a pre school teacher and I had my four year old with me so As usual I was soft spoken and kind, but this girl was incredibly rude and hostile. We visited on a Saturday around 4pm and there were only a few other tables being used. This was our first visit to this location and we noticed that it was significantly smaller than other locations we often go to. Everyone at the table ordered the best thing on the menu... the buffalo chicken salad. The greens were not the same that they usually use but it was still good. I love the blue cheese crumbles on top! We also ordered drinks which were also good. It would have been better if the glasses had been chilled though. I am only taking off one star because of the service.It took a while for someone to come to the table initially. It also took a while to get our drinks even though we could see them sitting on the bar waiting for the server to pick them up and bring them to us. I also took off a star because of the vibe from the staff. When we asked what the wifi password was, the hostess said they didn't have wifi. When we showed her that glory days guest was indeed coming up. she maintained that they didn't have wifi for the customers. I went here for the first time in years. It was actually really good and cheap. We got two entrees and wings and a drink for $36. A lot of other places in the area that would be $50+. I'm a fan of Glory Days in general, but I have to admit that my recent visit to this location wasn't my favorite. Our waitress was very nice and everything but my food unfortunately just wasn't up to snuff. We started with the Crab Pretzels, which were incredibly, incredibly salty. I was starving so I still ate my share with gusto, but I had to suck down my entire glass of water as I did so. And I'm a person who LOVES salty food, so if I'm saying it was salty then I have to imagine that it probably was, lol. I then got the Salmon BLT, on which the grilled salmon was unfortunately dry and pretty flavorless. While the crab dip was clearly overly salted, the salmon was under-seasoned. The rest of the sandwich was fine, but the salmon was kind of the linch-pin of the entire construct. I ended up mainly eating my fries (which were good.) This certainly won't be the last time that I return to Glory Days, but hopefully my next visit will surpass this one! read more

Service wasn't the best, our waiter passed by, even gave me a few head nods, but never actually came by to take our order of burgers and wings until way later when my girlfriend and I are starving even more. After getting our food, and not getting any refills on our water, we ate our food until there were only a few scraps left as we do not like to waste food. Food was good enough that we would just stop eating the food outright, but it didn't have any WOW factor to it. Went to Glory days for dinner last night for a fund raiser for my daughters school. One thing that Glory Days is amazing for is giving back to the community with fundraising for schools and other groups. For that I give them 5+++ Stars! They have been a supporter for a few years now and love it. The place, when full, is really noisy. Not obnoxious noisy but noisy none the less. When you have a big open rectangle room with TVs and people everywhere, its going to happen. but the noise is not enough to keep me from coming back. I will say the noise is more on a happening level.. Now for the food. I give the good 4 stars. They have a very good menu with a lot to choose from. I have had the hamburgers there before and they are great, the steak is ok, and the cobb salad, even though very tasty and filling. I ordered a half size last night and that was bigger than some other restaurant dinner size portion.. So you get a lot for your money. The only complaint I have about the salad is the chicken. I prefer grilled chicken that is freshly grilled and still warm. This chicken is pre-cooked, either in house or comes to them that way, and cold. I think if the chicken was freshly grilled and cut into strips and put on the salad it would knock the salad out of the park! I also got a cup of chili. the chili has the ability to be very good. It has a slight spice to it which gives i good flavor, but as most places that serve chili that may not be a big seller. You can tell its been on the burner all day, at a low temp to keep it from burning, but long enough that the taste is flat.. I liked the chili and would get it again, maybe next time for lunch rather than dinner to see if the taste is better. Overall I think this is a great restaurant for helping the community and also having a good selection of good tasting food. We went here to celebrate my cousin's high school graduation, so our group was 15+. We called ahead to reserve our spaces and we were initially given three tables put together. However, our group proved too large and the manager courteously moved our party to a private room, which was spacious and fitted with TVs. Today is also Wing Wednesday, so we had our fill of chicken wings plus their cheese fries (which are a meal in itself). Our server was very attentive and quick to update us on our orders and for refills, despite our group being overwhelming. Great service. Great food. Five stars. read more

Really like this chain, and this location. Lunch waiter (Jake?) is professional and knowledgeable about the menu, always in a good mood. The employees here seem to be perennially cheerful and sincere. Gotta love that. Food is always great. This is a great lunch restaurant, they know how to get you in & out and back to work in the middle of the day, without hurrying you rudely out the door. Cool specials, and they mix it up every month. One of the few places I eat at regularly where I will try something new, although I have my faves (Beef on Weck is a brilliant and rare regular sandwich here, smart menu item y'all!) My husband and I went to Glory Days Grill today to watch the Alabama-Kentucky game. I was surprised by the amount of televisions - I think there about 30 televisions in all, some rather large. When we got there, the game was not playing on any of the televisions. However, the BYU-Georgia Tech game was on at least 5 of the screens (odd, because I wouldn't expect BYU fans to be in a Sports bar). We were seated and we asked the waitress to change the channel of the television facing us to the game. She said she'd see what she could do and took our drink orders. I ordered a Jack & Diet and my husband got a tall beer. We also ordered a crab dip pretzel and an order of fried pickles (my fave). Within about 10 minutes, the game had not yet changed. I found this to be odd, because there really did not seem to be anyone there camping out watching ANY of the games. It's a sports bar feel without the typical sports fans that you'd see at a Buffalo Billiards. We finally saw someone walking around the restaurant changing the channels on the televisions and my husband went over to the guy and asked him to switch the TV facing both of us to the game. He said no, he was certain someone was watching a game on that one, but changed another television that was facing both of us, but at a weird angle. It wasn't a huge deal, but I thought it was strange because I really had not placed any other football fans in the place. Anyways, the game FINALLY came on and we got our appetizers. Man, were they good! It was really solid bar food and the pretzels and pickles were delicious! If I had one thing to say negatively, it'd be that both dishes were rather salty. But hey, that's what beer is for! We ordered our dinners as well, and I ordered the grilled cheese & tomato soup and my husband ordered the fish platter. The food arrived soon after, and we started eating. The grilled cheese was pretty good...it was on very thick bread with a mix of different cheese. The tomato soup could have 1) been warmer and 2) tasted a little less sweet. But overall, it was pretty tasty. My husband said the fish platter was pretty good, but to be fair we were both pretty full after our yummy appetizers! Glory Day's Vienna and the other restaurants always welcomes their guests with such great attitude and hospitality even during the Coronavirus Pandemic. They are fantastic with cleaning the restaurant throughout the day and their food is to die for. Their hamburgers are super delicious and their cheese fries are amazing. Now for the service...our server was Lindsey and she was awesome, compared to the dozens of times I've eaten at the Sterling Glory Days. It's clear this place is much better managed than sterling.
