Men and women working here are incredibly accommodating and personable. Tables are good quality. House cues are house cues but whatever.. I played fine with them. I didn't have a chance to try the food but beer selection was excellent and inexpensive! I would 100% come back to this spot if I were in the area. Oh and ambiance, everyone was very friendly and place is upscale. Lots of room between tables and darts seemed to be the same. This is a nice place to find high quality 9ft pool tables. Friends and I have been there few times to play pool on the weekends. They have about 15 tables. Very spacious space. They have good deals throughout the day. I think if you order food worth $15 or more, you get discounted rates for pool. Very well maintained pool tables. Bar service is good as well. They continue to check on us every 20 to 30 minutes. It's easy to order this way as we don't have to leave the table to order food or drinks. read more

Everything was good except at the end of the night one bartender took my card to pay for a drink and didn't make me select a tip, and rather, just selected his tip on his own on the card machine. Didn't even realize this rebranded from Fast Eddie's. Went for darts - very reasonable cost for an activity. For those who care, the darts here are much lighter in weight than usual. The pool tables all looked very new or refurbished. Decent selection of beers, and there's happy hour on weekdays. Did not try the food. Our server Neil was the highlight. Came by at just the right times for more drinks and knew how to have fun. On our way out, there was a man at the bar smoking, indoors. Never been to an establishment that makes you feel like it's a burden to provide basic service. Waited 15 mins at the bar on the side for attention. The 3 bartenders were carrying on with eachother instead of helping customers. Then after going to the center where they were and asking for a menu, one would think that they would come and take the order. However, they kept on flirting and carrying on amongst themselves and after 26 mins. We walked out. None of the staff really care to help or serve the customers! I feel like four star is the correct maximum number of stars for a place like Revolution. It used to be a dive bar ... ok fine, it's still a dive bar ... we won't speak the name here ... and it's maintained and even perhaps increased, uh, "quality," if that's even a word we can apply to such a place, since then. I go here regularly. Typically once a quarter, though I'll admit I paused during the dark times. So let's talk about what works: The pool and the darts. They work. Sure, the cues might be a little bent here and there, but for the most part they're straight, there's plenty of chalk, the tables are leveled. The basics are good. The darts are even better. None of that cork dartboard crap. Nope, packed hair. What kind of hair? Not clear, but in any case not mine. Aaaaand, the quality ends there. If you're actually *into* playing darts, bring your own. The plastic, bent, crap they have available is almost entirely unusable. That's not to say I'm some expert dart player, but I do aim and I like the darts to follow the path I throw, even when I throw poorly. Very confused about positive reviews about service. When playing, it seems hard to get a server's attention. When I do, things work out fine - and things get better when the loaded tots get there ... but it's the attention I think is fundamentally lacking. But whatever. I'll go back. Again and again. Because where else would I go for that pool hall vibe?! read more

Horrid waitress. Made me the absolute worst amaretto sours I've ever had in my life and then argued and laughed in my face when I told her I was not satisfied. Asked for a manager and she stood there playing with pool balls and smirking. I will also be calling the general manager and leaving reviews other places. I don't play pool, I rarely play darts but I have a soft spot for this place. I enjoy drinking cheap beers, playing Golden Tee and sidling up to the bar for NTN trivia. The Fast Eddies sign still remains but it is now called Revolution. Its the same spot. Its dark, its dingy, there is a terrible smell coming from different parts of the bar and that's a different smell from the years of being a smoker's den. This is a dive bar. Expect a dive bar atmosphere and a dive bar crowd. Now double that. I asked the bartender what the happy hour specials were and he said, "Draft Beer and Bottle Beer"...then there was an awkward silence as I waited for him to tell me the specials...then just ordered a bud light because I knew it would be under $3. They have theme nights, nightly specials, happy hour til 9, stuff all bars should have but don't anymore. While things have changed everywhere, this place is mostly the way bars were 15-20 years ago. Maybe its that nostalgia of that smoke, bud light and bar games that keeps me coming here. Revolution replaced Fast Eddies and so much better! It's in the same place, located next to a bowling alley. That means there's always plenty of parking. Once inside you see two huge spaces, front and back. Both are well lit, airy, and clean. This is helped along by Revolution's no smoking policy. While I was there I had a pint of Guinness (for $6) and their Revolution Fries "appetizer" for $10. However, it wasn't so much an appetizer as a meal. It came on a large plate heaped with healthy* portions of seasoned potato wedges, well-cooked flavorful shredded pork, and melted cheese (like substance). That was topped with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkling of green onion (no doubt for roughage which is very important). It was filling and delicious. *By "healthy" I mean generous as opposed to anything that would make your doctor happy. There are plenty of places that offer great food and beverages at reasonable prices. What sets Revolution apart are its recreation options. There are video games, well-maintained pool tables, and for me the most important thing, dart boards. But not your normal supply of dart boards. There were lots of dart boards. Bristle boards covered three walls. I stopped counting them at 18. There might have been hundreds or more or 18 and that's why I stopped counting. They were all well lit, widely spaced, and not crowded by tables. If you are looking for a fun place to go then this is it. If you are looking to go to a dart bar then this is the dart bar to go to. read more

Revolution (used to be fast eddies) is one of those sports bars you can always count on...be it snow storms or a sunny summer day..they are typically open and happy to tend to customers late into the night (or early morn). The location is central and easily reached from Route 50. The facility itself is huge and can accommodate hundreds, so consider this a great location for any size-group or event. The decor is full of dim lighting, nostalgic carpet and dark wood furniture. It has nice clean and well maintained darts and billiards that are rented for very reasonable prices. There is a TV in every direction, and they get most (even many obscure) channels so you can go there for just about any game or event you'd like to view live. They do open mics and occasionally have live music, but mostly the hall speakers blare top 100 and classic american ballads; they have a pretty sweet modern computer juke box system that customers can take advantage of also. The feel is local, with lots of townie-folk type patrons. That being said, it's not a hole in the wall in any way and maintains a swanky classic american pool hall ambiance. The service can be hit or miss, with certain staff and certain days/times they are definitely "b-team" trained, and lack certain common sense customer service. The bar tenders that work the main nights are awesome, well trained, and attentive. Don't ask for crazy drinks unless you can show them the recipe...while their bar is fully stocked with a variety of spirits, it's still a sports bar and they do beer from the tap best. Speaking of their tap selections, its pretty good with your standard domestics and some seasonal "fancier" options. Prices are great and you can have a night full of libations for less than $30 a person, or under $100 if you're buying a few rounds of beer/shots and such for a group of 4. The food is great, but don't expect healthy eats...this is a billiards bar after all...but do expect elevated greasy bar noms that will leave you full and satisfied and craving another cold beer. I came here for a plant nite event, my boyfriend and I decided to eat dinner beforehand. It took a while to figure out who worked here, the majority of the employees were in the back bar by the pool tables, which made sense to a degree because that side of the bar got very busy very quickly. It took a while to get our order in, I'm not sure if the server forgot about us or what. I had to go look for and tell him we were ready to order. After that it wasn't so bad. I got honey bbq boneless wings and they were ok, the sauce tasted like they added some hot sauce to it which I didn't like. Honey bbq should be sweet, not hot unless specified. The upside about the front half not being busy is there was plenty of space for the plant nite event, which was great. I love it here and the environment and bartenders are amazing. The staff is always extremely attentive and I appreciate how they always let the patrons know when last call for food & drinks is. It's pretty inexpensive here and I like the pool tables and the layout of the place. Spacious and they even have a smoking area in the back ! I would recommend this place to anyone ! The staff is friendly, so the three stars has nothing to do with the overall service. Basically, this is a dart bar and pool hall. I go here to throw darts and it serves that purpose, but this place could be so much more. Another review mentioned the karaoke and I agree, this just isn't the venue for it. People sing at the top of their lungs, and no one is interested because simply, they're engrossed in a game of pool or darts. I understand if the owners maintain the dive bar atmosphere to keep costs down, but they could make a lot more money with a few changes. Beer selection is the first. It's ok to keep what you have, but please add more craft selections or change a few current ones. Sweetwater IPA and Goose Island are the Milwaukee's Best of the IPA world, and most beer lovers do not enjoy them. The food that I've had here has been fine and I can't remember having a bad experience. So, that's it-- beer selection is key these days. And OMG the revolution fries are so good! They're like loaded potato skins but super crispy and flavorful. I'd come back just for those. Do not come here!!! Read on. (If you want to play pool) Management likes to lose money. They will not rent tables to the public. They allow all of the league players to run the pool hall and use all of the tables, regardless of the number of teams or leagues playing. I've been on two occasions (Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening). The first occasion I called in advance to ask if I could rent a table. They said I could, however, they wouldn't rent one to me! I waited 2.5 hours to get a table and was unable to do so because of the league, despite their 18 tables. On this evening they said that two tables would be rented to the public and if I came in I could get a table. The second night I came in at 730 and asked to rent a table. They expressed to me that all of the tables were being used for league. I waited until 8:45 and no tables were available despite it being less busy than the previous night. At 8:50, I was told I could use table 8. I walked over to the table and racked the balls after getting my cue out. A league member preceded to yell and swear at me that I couldn't use the tsbke. Management preceded to tell me I couldn't play on the tabkt after telling me that I could. Do not come here. Or any establishment owned by this entity. They do not value their customers and promote rude customers and want to lose money to the public. PS - if you look at the photo, they have empty parking spots right in front of the building on Wednesday, yet still can't get a table. read more

Had a friend that worked at revolutions, she called me while on her break ( she'd go to her car for breaks and we usually chat) and I could hear a guy in the background cursing at her, she explained he was intoxicated and wasn't cut off and allowed to continue drinking and was following her harassing her and her manager didn't kick him out, so I stayed on phone with her until she went back inside. That place is sketchy, last time I frequented there I saw a girl who worked there being groped and the guy who did it continued playing rounds of pool. Wouldn't go there without protection if you are a female. Seems like men who are intoxicated are allowed to stay. read more

Now called Revolution Darts and Billiards, but the sign on the building hasn't changed yet from Fast Eddies. I was so happy to find a place that really understands what dart players and pool players want. Solid equipment, friendly staff, good competition, reasonably priced, good food, and great drink specials. Props to the servers and Ron the manager. You know the place is good when you see the servers there on their nights off to play pool and darts with the regulars! Sports on TV's everywhere, even a huge projection rig - not the best resolution, but there's plenty of smaller HD sets on every wall. Pool, darts (16 bristle boards and a couple of plastic!), trivia night, bar pong, or a DJ in the front room (kind of overly loud, but not always there...) etc. Pool leagues and tournaments, several dart leagues and tournaments, Fun place to be, and the crowd is a good mix of ages - and everyone seems to get along. As a non-smoker, I can enjoy a few hours without going home and needing to throw everything I was wearing in the wash. The mini tacos are my favorite when I'm not too hungry, the burgers when I am! read more
