The person helping us was knowledgeable and friendly which put my worries to rest for awhile. It seems to be a very secure location. We paid for a month but will only get two weeks.

In the past, when something truly urgent came up, they would call or at least send multiple forms of communication -- phone calls, emails, and letters -- so we knew to act immediately. This time, they switched to only email without any phone calls or clear indication that an auction was imminent. We had no idea things had escalated so far until it was too late. If you value your belongings, be aware that their communication practices are unreliable when it matters most.

From top to bottom, I really could not be happier with the experience. The manager, Mel was exceptional in his instruction, was super nice, and answered every question without hesitation. The facility itself is perfect for our needs from the covered loading area, to the flat bed carts, to the carpeted floors throughout and even in the storage space. Everything was as clean..spotless really. Great hallway lighting. Was pleased to hear some good music softly piped through the halls which along with the bright lighting really cut down on the creepy factor as you might expect when you're all alone in a huge storage facility. Cameras, intercoms and emergency stations all around just add to increasing the comfort level. All things considered, the price is just right for our needs and if we ever need to upgrade we won't hesitate. As a bonus to us, this location is excellent because it's near many other businesses that we frequent. I know that I won't be feeling like I'm going out of my way because I won't be. It's unfortunate that some of the earlier reviewers had negative experience as mine was nothing like theirs at all. Thank you to The Lock Up for getting us off to a great start!

The price is reasonable and it was stated that it only goes up yearly. So as of now I am quite satisfied with the place and a bonus it that it is only a mile a way. Great place to store inventory for a business or whatever else you may need! The lady who helped my mother and I out today was so helpful and kind. She talked us through the whole process, what to expect, how long the incentive will last (4 months), etc. If you're in need for a storage place in the area I would definitely recommend Cubesmart! I have been using this facility since it opened, so about 3 years now. I rent an indoor storage…read moreunit and also park my company truck in the outdoor storage area because of HOA regulations where I live. I have a couple of complaints the way CubeSmart operates their business. When you complain about it to the management at the facility, they simply tell you that their district manager makes the decisions and they have no control, so I will share with you why I am unhappy. 1) They lure you in with "special offers" which is enticing. But then they will start raising your rent fairly regularly. That seems to be the corporate business model these days. In the 3 years I've been at this facility my indoor storage has practically doubled. 2) The gates system used to secure the outdoor parking is always breaking. I am a union electrician and I park a company truck at the facility. So if the gate system isn't working, I can't go to work, which costs me nearly $800 a day when you include my hourly pay and benefits package. My biggest problem with this situation is when I talk to the management about it, they tell me CubeSmart isn't going to change their junky gate operating system for me. I had to laugh because when these gates break, it inconveniences everyone because of how the entry and exit system works at this facility. Instead of driving through a couple of roll-up doors like most facilities, you also get routed through the outdoor parking area which has those two (2) pesky sliding gate systems that always breaks. I don't appreciate management making it sound as though I am the only person being inconvenienced, the whole traffic pattern causes the excessive use of the junky gate system. If you want a good laugh, think about their reaction to my request of being compensated for my loss time at work. I never mentioned this previous times, but after having this happen several times, what do you expect. I wouldn't have even asked such a thing if I seen that CubeSmart was making an effort to really fixing the issue. Instead they keep fixing the same junk. Here is another funny one for you. I couldn't get my truck out of the parking area, and they told me they don't know when the gates will be fixed. So I may not be going to work tomorrow either! Lol....I am so done with CubeSmart.

I wanted a new place closer to home and within a similar price range. This location was found though it was under a different company name. I signed a lease with them in March and by April, Cubesmart bought them out and hence its what you see. This facility is very nice considering it was probably built only a year or two ago. One thing I noticed about my unit was while it's meant to fit vehicles and such (10x20), UNLIKE my old unit this location provided me with a light overhead that shuts off when the door is closed (unfortunately, no electricity provided). This was a true treat that's very helpful especially when I pull my other vehicle back in sometimes late at night. Overall, very happy with this location. It's secure with 24/7 CCTV monitoring, friendly staff, clean and fair pricing. Hope other Cubesmart locations can renovate just as nicely as this one.
