When I contacted the facility, they claimed they had mailed me a notice--one I never received. They've since offered a "reduced" increase of 21%. But what about the agreement I signed for $158 per month, you may ask...? (see page 8 of the contract)? I also asked how much notice I'm required to give if I decide to move out so I don't incur a penalty. They told me: *Before February 30th if I'm leaving in February *Before March 30th if I'm leaving in March Immediately after hanging up, I received a text message confirming my "notice to move out" of space #-## on 03/01/2026--even though I had only asked a question about the process. When I called back to ask why I received that message, they said it was simply so they'd know I was considering moving out. If they can instantly text me a move‑out confirmation I never requested, it's hard to believe they couldn't have texted me about the rate increase they claim they mailed. I'll let you decide whether this feels like an ethical business practice. To be fair, the facility itself is clean, secure, and conveniently located. But the way they handle communication and pricing feels... less than transparent.

Don't listen to what's posted on Public Storage website. If you've lost your keys they will not assist you, hire your own locksmith. Customer service is below par and they have increased the rate 15$ before even being a customer for a year. The gates in the app don't unlock/work all the time so you'll still manually have to enter the code for entry/exit too.

I also had to personally drive to the office to pick up my reimbursement check, because maybe mailing it would cost too much or something. (?) In the end, I lost hundreds of dollars of personal belongings, kids toys, items of attachment, and I had to personally clean off all the mice droppings off my stuff on MY OWN DIME. The disclaimer that the rate isn't guaranteed doesn't change the fact that I've only been there 5 months AND FOR 2 MONTHS I couldn't use it through most of the winter because the entry keypad was completely frozen in the morning and the driveways were uncleared of snow and ice and you have to u-turn to get out so I couldn't even ACCESS the space that I have now received 30%!!! increase after 5 months. It's dishonest and unfair since there is a significant cost to relocate and they know it. I don't recommend, don't be fooled by the low entry rate - the increase is not insignificant. Go with a place that tells you exactly what you will pay upfront first because at least then you are dealing with an honest company that deserves your business. He also had old appliances outside of his unit that sat there for days and he had an extension cord hooked into the facility's outlet. The website GUARANTEED that the part fits and that it was available at the Aurora location. We arrived and we had an issue with it not being available and not being the right part.
