I also had to personally drive to the office to pick up my reimbursement check, because maybe mailing it would cost too much or something. (?) In the end, I lost hundreds of dollars of personal belongings, kids toys, items of attachment, and I had to personally clean off all the mice droppings off my stuff on MY OWN DIME. The smell in the unit was absolute awful my last day there.

The disclaimer that the rate isn't guaranteed doesn't change the fact that I've only been there 5 months AND FOR 2 MONTHS I couldn't use it through most of the winter because the entry keypad was completely frozen in the morning and the driveways were uncleared of snow and ice and you have to u-turn to get out so I couldn't even ACCESS the space that I have now received 30%!!! increase after 5 months. It's dishonest and unfair since there is a significant cost to relocate and they know it. I don't recommend, don't be fooled by the low entry rate - the increase is not insignificant. Go with a place that tells you exactly what you will pay upfront first because at least then you are dealing with an honest company that deserves your business. Adding that I think I am filing a complaint with BBB because raising the rent 30% after 5 months knowing that moving is a costly and time consuming task is actually more than just jerky it's deceitful and a bait and switch.

There was a man who appeared to be living out of his unit there at one time. He would sleep in a van parked outside of his unit. He also had old appliances outside of his unit that sat there for days and he had an extension cord hooked into the facility's outlet. We reported this and they disabled the electrical outlet we noticed the next time we went there. Very poor management!

The website GUARANTEED that the part fits and that it was available at the Aurora location. We arrived and we had an issue with it not being available and not being the right part. If not for David righting U-Haul's wrongs and shortcomings, this place would get a 1/5 rating. U-Haul needs to up their game. If you can afford a little more, choose any other company than U-Haul.
