We stopped by…read moreanother Next Door location and while the staff was friendly and helpful, their lot was pretty full and of the couple of spots available for our size, the fit was a little too tight for us to feel comfortable (also I should mention I wasn't fond of the area). Enter, Next Door Storage in Plainfield. We stopped in with little notice and were able to get all set up and have an entertaining conversation about the Plainfield area being the newbs that we were. A few months later we decided to keep our RV at our house and were able to pick up and cancel our contract in a matter of minutes. There was no fee to do this since it's all month-to-month and then when we wanted to put the RV back in storage a few months after that we were able to get a new parking spot with the same ease as before. I also have to mention that the staff is awesome! Everyone I've interacted with has been so sweet and helpful and just a joy to talk to. And the pricing is actually the best we've found in the area so that alone will keep us coming back.

Just rented the currently last available unit. (10x10) The…read moremanager was friendly and explained their policies and that they are generally not responsible for damage that could occur and you would need your own insurance. They rent on a month by month basis but there was an option to pay for an entire year. While the website says the types of payments they accept does not include CC the manager said they can but they charge the customer the CC fee they would be charged and they let you know that up front. The price is reasonable and it was stated that it only goes up yearly. So as of now I am quite satisfied with the place and a bonus it that it is only a mile a way. Despite what Yelp says about where I am located, I really do live in Aurora, IL

And they all had good senses of humor. Unpacking in Wheaton simply reversed the excellent process. They placed our furniture where we asked. They attached our new headboard, (which I didn't expect) and reinstalled the little pesky shelves in our CD/DVD revolving tower. They made sure everything was where it should be before they left. In the past, when something truly urgent came up, they would call or at least send multiple forms of communication -- phone calls, emails, and letters -- so we knew to act immediately. This time, they switched to only email without any phone calls or clear indication that an auction was imminent. We had no idea things had escalated so far until it was too late.
