Table bread
Andrea K.

I stopped in here to try something new since I was in the area. It wasn't bad my any means, but it wasn't fantastic either. I ordered the burratta and tomatoes appetizer and they were out. Chicken picatta for dinner was good. Fork tender and generous portion, it was very very garlic forward though. They serve bread for the table when u arrive and that was good. My one complaint is that my server never checked on me once I got my food. He didnt come back until I was done eating. I really wanted to try the lemoncello lemon drop martini but he never came back until I was ready to go. They did box my food up for me which was a nice touch. The food was good so I would go back. Just a little disappointed in the service. The dining room is simple and cute. Open kitchen and they play music that makes you feel like you are in an Italian joint which I also enjoyed.

I was really hoping for a solid Italian spot in my neighborhood. We also had a gift card to use so we were looking forward to a nice night out. However, the food here is just not good. The garlic bread they bring to the table when you are seated is perhaps the best part of the meal. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. I've never been served stuffed mushrooms that were not actually stuffed. It was a strange ball of something sitting on top of a mushroom. We also ordered the meatball ricotta pasta and the pork carbonara. The pork was very thin and very dry and the carbonara wasn't even close to tasting like carbonara. My husband also did not enjoy the meatball pasta. I will say that the service was very fast and you don't have to wait long for the food. The staff was very kind and knew their job and menu very well. The restaurant decor is also nice and welcoming.

After talking to the chef here and asking to help construct a post 4-Day fast meal for my diabetic needs, he was enthusiastic to help out! He made a beef and Italian pesto crème bolognese of sorts topped with mozzarella! Table side Parmesan & freshly cracked pepper! Absolutely to die for, thanks again for the extra love and consideration! I had NO blood sugar response at all!

Wandered in here because our Chinese restaurant was closed. We were pleasantly surprised for a 3.4 star-rated restaurant! Our waiter, Roman, was very friendly and helpful. We were immediately greeted and sealed. We were brought iced cold waters and fresh garlic bread with buttet. Bread was served hot and flavorful! We ordered their fried calamari and it was a large helping and served with a delicious spicy sauce! Calamari was delivered hot and crunchy! I ordered their sausage penne and it was good and satisfying. Perfect amount of spice. Hubby ordered their pesto penne pasta and I had a taste! It was creamy and flavorful! He loved it! He had it with grilled chicken. We will definitely return and try more of their dishes.

This isn't a typical lunch venue. This is more high end Italian food. When my brother and I arrived, there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Our waitress came over immediately and offered beverages and water. They have a full service bar with several draught beers on tap. The restaurant itself appears to be closer to fine dining with their very nice tablecloths and place settings. We ordered the Neopolitan pizza which was a combination of mushrooms, olives, sausage, cheese and red sauce touched by some basil leaves on top. It was delicious and really hit the spot. The 2 of us finished the entire pie. After that, no room for dessert. I recommend for lunch as well as dinner.

It's really challenging to keep…read morefamiliar flavors while inserting a new, fun element, and both pizzas I tried at Penelope's did just that! Hot honey pizza has the most perfect hint of sweetness without becoming desert, and the lemon-arugula-ricotta one was so addictive. Cute spot for date night with minimalist decor and fast service! Pro tip: get a side of the marinated olives to soak up with your crusts :)

It was during the Chinese Chorizo festival and I asked for the sesame crust they had for their festival special + Mushroom Chorizo add on ($4). I loved that the marinara was not sweet and had a slight spice kick to it. It was clearly freshly house-made. The crust was light and delicious. A little thin in the part with the toppings which made it a tad messy to eat but there was a good amount of crust on edges. The marinara pizza comes without cheese and is vegan. I am not sure I noticed the garlic oil specifically on the Marinara pizza. It would also be sooo good with some added Treeline cashew based cheese. I like that they are responsive to message inquiries on Instagram. They were very busy when I came and said the wait for my takeout pizza would be 25-30 min but it was ready in about 10 minutes. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

Any…read moreand every menu item is delicious, our personal favorites are the nasty cat sandwich and cacio e pepe. But we also really enjoy their monthly specials. Every month usually features new menu items and collabs with other local businesses. Another cool (pun intended) part about Noodies is their gelato. They have different flavors featured every week so I recommend following their instagram to keep updated - you might get lucky and be able to buy a pint if you find that flavor in their little freezer tho! Beware the parking lot is small and inside is a little small too with a few booths and long table in the middle. This place also gets REALLY busy on weekend evenings during the school year since it is just right by the college lol

It makes it very clear and easy to order. I had the cacio e pepe sauce with the fettuccine pasta. I also added chicken. Of course I could not resist trying the soft serve gelato, which is a different flavor every week. I can definitely tell that the pasta is freshly made there. When dining in there's also a cute area for kids to play in which is a bonus for families with young people. I'll definitely be back on those rare occasions when I just want a nice, fresh bowl of pasta.

Wow wow wow, the focaccia bread was fantastic. The pizza was super crispy on the bottom, just the way I like it. You can tell the fresh ingredients that they used. Because of the level of the food quality, this is not the cheapest place to eat however, it is absolutely fantastic and so tasty. We will be going back very soon.

We arrived at Renee's with our boys on a 90+ degree Arizona day, hot, hungry, and excited to celebrate them after their first flag football game. Instead of sitting down to enjoy a meal, we were told that families with children are only allowed to dine on the patio. Meanwhile, the air-conditioned dining room was completely empty. Not "almost full." Empty. I understand that businesses are allowed to have their own policies, but expecting families with young children to sit outside in 90+ degree heat while an empty, air-conditioned dining room sits right there is certainly a choice. And not a particularly welcoming one. Apparently, celebrating your kids after their first flag football game meant sweating through dinner on the patio while an entire empty dining room sat comfortably indoors. With the temperature over 90 degrees, that was not a reasonable option for our family. Needless to say, we left. Tucson has plenty of wonderful restaurants where families can celebrate, cool off, and enjoy a meal indoors without being limited to the patio simply because they brought their children. So no, I can't tell you whether the pizza is good. We never got that far. I can tell you the hospitality left a bad enough taste that we won't be back to find out
