    Table bread

I stopped in here to try something new since I was in the area. It wasn't bad my any means, but it wasn't fantastic either. I ordered the burratta and tomatoes appetizer and they were out. Chicken picatta for dinner was good. Fork tender and generous portion, it was very very garlic forward though. They serve bread for the table when u arrive and that was good. My one complaint is that my server never checked on me once I got my food. He didnt come back until I was done eating. I really wanted to try the lemoncello lemon drop martini but he never came back until I was ready to go. They did box my food up for me which was a nice touch. The food was good so I would go back. Just a little disappointed in the service. The dining room is simple and cute. Open kitchen and they play music that makes you feel like you are in an Italian joint which I also enjoyed.

I was really hoping for a solid Italian spot in my neighborhood. We also had a gift card to use so we were looking forward to a nice night out. However, the food here is just not good. The garlic bread they bring to the table when you are seated is perhaps the best part of the meal. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. I've never been served stuffed mushrooms that were not actually stuffed. It was a strange ball of something sitting on top of a mushroom. We also ordered the meatball ricotta pasta and the pork carbonara. The pork was very thin and very dry and the carbonara wasn't even close to tasting like carbonara. My husband also did not enjoy the meatball pasta. I will say that the service was very fast and you don't have to wait long for the food. The staff was very kind and knew their job and menu very well. The restaurant decor is also nice and welcoming.

After talking to the chef here and asking to help construct a post 4-Day fast meal for my diabetic needs, he was enthusiastic to help out! He made a beef and Italian pesto crème bolognese of sorts topped with mozzarella! Table side Parmesan & freshly cracked pepper! Absolutely to die for, thanks again for the extra love and consideration! I had NO blood sugar response at all!

Wandered in here because our Chinese restaurant was closed. We were pleasantly surprised for a 3.4 star-rated restaurant! Our waiter, Roman, was very friendly and helpful. We were immediately greeted and sealed. We were brought iced cold waters and fresh garlic bread with buttet. Bread was served hot and flavorful! We ordered their fried calamari and it was a large helping and served with a delicious spicy sauce! Calamari was delivered hot and crunchy! I ordered their sausage penne and it was good and satisfying. Perfect amount of spice. Hubby ordered their pesto penne pasta and I had a taste! It was creamy and flavorful! He loved it! He had it with grilled chicken. We will definitely return and try more of their dishes.

It was my very first time there with my girlfriend and her grandma. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the waiters. I loved the food and draft beers were very solid. I would definitely recommend this place to others. It was a very chill environment that never rushed you out the door. Instead, they greeted with a smile and took great care of us.

Heavy traveler here (truly a nobody though) and I flew from San Diego to try this place today and I am stunned. Absolutely fantastic pasta, as a chef myself that makes everything from scratch, the quality was immensely there with this place. Extremely delicious home made feel type comfort food here and honestly even if the service was s*** that day for whatever reason, I would not care as long as I got to have my meal desired from this place. I would even tip double because the food is out of this world traditionally made with love. Anyone with a sense of culinary experience knows this place is doing it right. Hard finding good places like this on the map these days after being to all 48 lower states and Hawaii. Excellent evening with my meal, thank you CERES, I will gladly return for over and over again in the future. Also DO NOT FORGET to grab their gelato. I understand it's not too hard to get dessert wrong, but it can be absolutely difficult to get it THIS RIGHT! genuinely blown away by the strawberry and I recommend you get the pint! 1 cup or cone WILL NOT BE ENOUGH you have been warned with pure intentions, until next time.

I ultimately decided on the evening special which was the pasta special with optional chicken. All were delicious and LARGE portions. I could not finish it all and as it was so hot outside I opted to just throw out the leftovers as I didn't think it would travel well. Gelato was the next decision but as it was 108 degrees I decided to leave that for my next visit. Looked amazing though. This location is great, just around the corner from the TMA and every time I pass by it is packed! Lovely outdoor seating, but just a wee bit warm for me to linger. All in all a quirky place with delicious and well imagined and presented menu options. I will be back once this killer summer is concluded! Thx ladies for a lovely meal.

Very well balanced, a lot of effort went into it. We had 30 min wait in small upstairs area for our table on a Thursday night. They don't have much waiting area, most nights you have to wait outside. It was over a 100 after the sun went down, so I'm glad there was room available. Ordered the vodka chicken Parmesan and the burrata. They were both amazing. The pasta that came with the chicken Parmesan was super tender light, tasted fresh. Their pasta is all handmade daily. All the ingredients were simple and fresh for the burrata. The pesto was chunky and gave a good texture contrast. The tomatoes were very flavorful, olive oil and balsamic were all high quality. Very flavorful dish. I liked that you could order a half order. We wanted to try it, with two entrees a full order would have been too much. I would definitely return for both. Tried the pepperoni, sausage and jalapeño pizza and it was good as well. It's very toasty and dark on the crust, made in a a very high temperature pizza oven. We had some leftover pizza to take home. I was definitely more impressed with their pasta, good handmade pasta at an affordable price is hard to find. Would definitely go back if we are ever in the area and try other items. My sister ordered a salad and she had to modify some things due to her auto immune condition. It got screwed up, but the server was so apologetic and they fixed it. It wasn't the end of the world to us. She kinda deals with this all the time since her diet is super restrictive. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, checking in with us. It is a great crust, not quite as good as Luna's was (RIP), IYKYK, their pies edged this place out in consistency and crust flavor with that special yeast. The pies are somewhat expensive, which is fine, but really the toppings are scant considering. And the aforementioned inconsistency, - slightly higher prices are fine , but they should be consistent. Make it feel worthwhile. The service is a joke, sometimes someone will greet you, sometimes maybe not. It used to be you could walk into a place, even 15 minutes before they closed, and order food. Not so much with this place( and it's a pizza place ?!!?)-which is odd because you'd think they want money. I digress. I've gone in, in the past, half hour before closed, and been told they were out of dough! Pizza place out of the main ingredient. Obviously bad meal prep, planning, mgmt, -however you want to plate it. -Now-, there's an ordering system online to , idk, 'help things be orderly ' , maybe. You can't even go on 50 minutes before they close and place an order. What a joke. ...Likely to put out that image of high demand, the rarest , most prized, kneaded dough by Swedish monks,, that you must plan a day ahead if you want to partake in. More likely, they'll start tagging on service charges and having slightly inflated prices through online ordering. BET.

We arrived at Renee's with our boys on a 90+ degree Arizona day, hot, hungry, and excited to celebrate them after their first flag football game. Instead of sitting down to enjoy a meal, we were told that families with children are only allowed to dine on the patio. Meanwhile, the air-conditioned dining room was completely empty. Not "almost full." Empty. I understand that businesses are allowed to have their own policies, but expecting families with young children to sit outside in 90+ degree heat while an empty, air-conditioned dining room sits right there is certainly a choice. And not a particularly welcoming one. Apparently, celebrating your kids after their first flag football game meant sweating through dinner on the patio while an entire empty dining room sat comfortably indoors. With the temperature over 90 degrees, that was not a reasonable option for our family. Needless to say, we left. Tucson has plenty of wonderful restaurants where families can celebrate, cool off, and enjoy a meal indoors without being limited to the patio simply because they brought their children. So no, I can't tell you whether the pizza is good. We never got that far. I can tell you the hospitality left a bad enough taste that we won't be back to find out

I wish they would incorporate a mocktail menu or better NA options. The appetizer we had was calamari which was decent- my husband wasn't a fan of the breading texture it has a lumpiness to it maybe like a crushed cornflake feel. Not our favorite but overall it was cooked great not overdone. Love the roasted lemon on the side. I had the short rib ravioli which the ravioli itself was good. The sauce was interesting it had a sweetness to it that I wasn't a fan of. I've had short rib ravioli at wildflower which they also did a white sauce which I preferred due to it being savory. I can tell it was a wine based sauce which had a nice depth of flavor but the sweetness really killed it for me. My husband had the baked ravioli which was a lasagna style which was great! Robust sauce and large portion. If you're in Tucson the sauce seems very similar to Nate's. We did get a free cheesecake for our anniversary which was very nice, my husband loved this and he's super picky about cheesecake. Overall not bad- I think I'd maybe come to try some other dishes but service felt very slow, I wasn't blown away with anything and it was very pricey, mocktail options definitely lacked if you're sober.
