The starter combo of black fig, prosciutto, and goat cheese with balsamic drizzle was fantastic, but when isn't it? Getting all those things on the same bite is magnificent. Compliments to the tableside fish carver for filleting with sprezzatura and compliments to the chef for such an excellent branzino dish. The sauce complimented the fish and was a perfect match as it leaked onto the asparagus and potaoes. Wife's dessert: black cherry ice cream and a cappuccino. My dessert: The amaro flight sounded interesting, but I was boring and went for a Dow 20 tawny just because it sounded really good. Thanks Natalie for properly pacing a 2 hour dinner. Excellence all the way around.

Oh Lancaster how you surprise me still... Seeing how Lancaster is very in-land, I was skeptical about any seafood Lancaster had to offer. Boy... do I get proven wrong every time I think Lancaster is bad at something. The Italian style seafood and restaurant; I didn't think much of it but this place quickly after just one night became a "if anyone visits, we goin here" spot. All the appetizers and entree was fantastic. The menu is small and quaint which I love cause it tells you what the restaurant is good at. All the food that came was super delicious. Buttery, savory, sweet, all the taste buds were hit. This place is a very good combination of casual and formal so whatever the occasions, it fits. The service was fast and attentive. Our guy always came over to check and was good about everything; A service. I'm going back and if you're in the area and craving Italian style seafood, this place is yet another Lancaster gem

Food was fresh and tasted great, we sat outside because there was a half an hour long wait for indoor and for the most part service was good considering we were away from the main party so we expected to be forgotten. Fresh food, good nice staff, beautiful ambiance. Highly recommend octopus , oyster with lamb , shrimp app, salmon was yummy and duck fat fries !

We came in for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. This whole experience was just disappointing, we were so looking forward to a special evening out. We usually go to the Log Cabin for our anniversary but we decided to try somewhere new and saw this place had overall great reviews. Unfortunately we did not have that same experience. The ambiance is a more intimate setting but no one was very friendly I just didn't get a genuine hello, goodbye, thanks for joining us from anyone. We started with the Frito Misto and raw oysters. The oysters were good but the Frito Misto was served without the sauces, we had to keep searching for someone to catch their eye to get the sauces it was supposed to have. Even with the sauces it was very clumped together and lacked any flavor. Server didn't come over to us at all during the appetizers or when we were done our empty plates sat for a while until someone else cleared them. Once the entrees came out she did stop once I asked for a gingerale because I was not a fan of the mocktail I had ordered. I got the lobster fettuccine which I did really enjoy besides the fact there was shell still on one of the pieces of lobster. My husband got the filet which I was planning on having some but it was so charboiled on the outside it just tasted like the grill. Really felt by doing such a hard charbroil on it ruined it and was not appetizing. We both didn't finish our meals and waited for the server to stop again. At this point when I had no drink now, not even a water refill the entire night, she then dropped of the gingerale which we were ready to get our meals boxed and leave. We also noticed every other table around us had been given bread on their table. We were not. Overall we just felt like we were given the bare minimal service and not acknowledge at all when trying to celebrate a special evening. We don't get date nights together that often and to have one so disappointing was really unfortunate.

Martini flight. My favorite was the peanut butter!

Went there last night to celebrate our anniversary. Food was delicious and so was the martini flight. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Don't know why we don't come here more often!

Excellent food, excellent service. Made us feel very welcome and special. We are not accustomed to "fine dining", but we're very comfortable. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful in my decision making. :)

Finally a top notch fine dining restaurant that delivers in Lancaster. We enjoyed dinner while celebrating our Anniversary. It had a romantic atmosphere and our server Matt was very good to us. He was professional and had a polished knowledge of the menu and ingredients that are served nightly and seasonally. The entire dinner was amazing from start to finish. We started with the crab cake and lobster cocktail. My lobster was served on ice, which I love and with a cocktail and tartare sauce. The crab cake was the best we ever had. I ordered my filet mignon med rare, and it was cooked perfectly! It was served with savory asparagus and whipped potato. My husband enjoyed the special, a Parmesan crusted grouper with yummy spinach and carrots medley over rice. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. To finish we shared a crème brûlée which was delicious. I can't say enough good things about this place, we can't wait to go back. You will love the food here, they are doing things right!

We shared lobster fettuccine and the roasted beet salad and they actually split our dinner up evenly between us!

This restaurant is magnificent! From the moment we walked in till the last bite was stupendous! It was our 37 year anniversary and we wanted a special meal. We got the raw seafood tower for two. Also we shared lobster linguine, crab cakes and a beet salad. Topped it off with a molten lava cake and enjoyed drinks also! The service was on point! The food mouth watering and delicious! And the price wasn't bad! I would totally visit again! Unfortunately I live far away!

Super good food! Just don't get Michael. Our server, Michael, seems to have a chip on his shoulder. It seems his goal is to make everyone around him miserable. But try as he might, we didn't let his cold demeanor ruin our evening. Every dish we ordered was impeccable. Bold flavors, beautiful plating, cooked to perfection. The Kennet Square Mushrooms... WOW! A crispy polenta cake topped with buttery sauteed mushrooms and shaved parmigiana in a black truffle cream sauce. Might be my favorite appetizer ever. And again, the entrees were friggin' fantastic. Absolutely no complains. So let's skip ahead to the desserts. First off, not even sure how we saved enough room. Who has room for dessert after apps and entrees? I feel like that's kinda rare unless you're eating strategically. But hey, it happened. We got the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake, Chocolate Temptation, and the Salted Caramel Crème Brûlée. Now, sides and all that were all over the place. Desserts that weren't supposed to come with strawberries did, desserts that were supposed to come with hazelnut mousse didn't. Everything was kind of mixed and matched. Turns out, you can put basically any sweet side with a dessert and it actually turns out pretty good. The crème brûlée was definitely the standout. Such a sugary, thin, crispy crust on top. Every bite was bliss. Nice atmosphere. Dim lighting. Good for date nights or just a nice night out. Still all very casual, so don't worry about having to dress up. Gibraltar would be a great destination for basically any occasion. Just don't get Michael as your server. He's an older gentleman. Has a lot of disdain for people. Maybe some pent-up rage. Just a miserable grouch. Don't think I've ever had such cold service before. Hopefully this pandemic has given him time to reflect and get his mind right. Prayers for Michael.

The hostesses were very apologetic however (apparently the party before us was taking an incredibly long time), and both they offered to seat us either outside or at a high-top table and gave us complimentary prosecco, so I don't fault them for this. The main entrance to the place is pretty cool, as it really highlights the rustic vibe and there was a waiting area that had a 3-person band playing classical music when we came. However, other than this room the fact that the place is a restored log cabin isn't really apparent. The food was all very average. We came here on my birthday weekend, and they had a small folded paper on the table saying "happy birthday" (that they must reuse because the inside said "happy anniversary") and their was a small baggie of chocolates. It seemed like almost everyone there was celebrating something, as I saw these on most of the tables

I love the mystery beer concept, its not great beer, but being from DC at like $2 a can, I am not passing that up, ever. And a cheap beer with a burger is the perfect combo! On to the burger... I have heard that this is a great burger... and I have to conclude that I agree though it is reminiscent of a Big Mac - just way better ingredients - it has to be the sauce they put on it... Anyway, nice size patty, good amount of toppings and a quality bun (not too soft, not too thick, bread soaks up some of the juices but doesn't fall apart). The mussels were quite excellent as well. It was a Thai curry broth the night we were there and it was drinkable, like soup... we did ask for extra bread... enough said. I am going to take a minute too and praise their spirit free cocktails. THIS IS HOW THEY SHOULD BE MADE. They used bitters, tonics, etc to craft something that tasted like a cocktail but without alcohol which means they were not sickly sugary concoctions, but expertly crafted beverages. Just really great options. All that said though, their espresso martini was one of the worst I have had. Just skip that.

When my food arrived, the scent dissipated. I purposely took a picture of the fish, on my fried fish sandwich, to illustrate what $17 and some change, looks like - very thin. The fish fry was tasty, slightly undercooked, soft crusted and soft bun, fresh condiments and those "pickles" were stellar. They were the best part of my meal. I would seriously purchase a jar of those pickles. Was wary of how hot honey would mesh with a pepperoni pizza, but surprisingly, the sweet heat and the savoriness of the pepperonis, worked well together. The only miss and it's a pretty big "miss," was the paper thin, tasteless crust, acting only as a vehicle to hold the toppings. Suggest you improve the crust and then, you'll have a stellar pie. Loved the peach bread pudding with brown sugar ice cream, but once again, for the price; the portion was skimpy. Liked the touch of homemade whipped cream, but it was overly whipped (stiff and tasteless), making it actually, impalatable.
