We have eaten there many times. I particularly like the 1 lb. shrimp boil. I got the shrimp/crab leg combo once, but the crab legs were overdone and hard to get the meat out of the shell. I'll stick with the shrimp boil from now one. The fried rice is kind of bland. My wife likes the fried shrimp basket. She had the fish basket once, but said the fish was very greasy. read more

We went here on a bit on a whim. Mom wanted seafood dinner after we had been out on some errands and I was just searching for somewhere new.... And off we went. Definitely did not disappoint! We felt the portions were super generous relative to the price. We got a lb each of shrimp, green mussels and clams. We got 2 in lemon butter and one in old bay with medium spice. All the seasonings were great. Everything tasted fresh and was well prepared. We left stuffed! Service was attentive. The ambiance is presently.... Used to be a ?Chinese restaurant? Nothing fancy or exotic. But we had a comfy booth. Plenty of seating. Takeout orders were flowing. Hope they continue to thrive since I might like to go again! read more

Juicy Crab - Mom was very happy - Seafood Near Me - Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Well, since my last review, I decided to give them another chance. They were able to get the spicy seasoning correct but I think what's worse is that they forgot my items.. they forgot my clams. So just make sure when you purchase your food you double check to make sure all that you ordered is in the bag.. just giving my truthful, honest experience, whether you like it or not read more

The place was clean. People friendly. Food very good. We had seafood boils. The snow crab legs were delicious. read more

We visited as a family and everyone enjoyed the food. The combo options were great, the service was excellent, and the restaurant was clean. The menu had something for everyone, even for those of us who don't eat seafood. That said, the portion sizes were disappointing. A 1/2-pound order should not come with only one cluster of crab legs. For the price, the portions need to be more generous. read more

Our seafood boil was delicious. Our server was great The restaurant was big and spacious there was plenty of seating for our group. They had lots of options and the prices were fair read more

If you want to get stole from go here! I went in with my fiance on Monday evening around 6 o'clock there was a total of four maybe five tables in the restaurant (this does not surprise me. I work at a restaurant myself and it's not a busy day on Monday) First off, took us forever to get a waitress to come to us. We ended up splitting a combo meal came out like fast food. The food itself was soft the crab legs you could not break them. They were obviously sitting in a hot plate/hot boiler just sitting there they weren't freshly cooked. Food was practically cold by the time we opened the bag. The one time she came and checked on us she took our drink for a refill and took it to another table. If you look back on the review, there was only five tables. It wasn't like it was busy as crap and you forgot where you were at, so obviously I did not leave a tip. It was not great service. I'm a server myself. I know what good service is and what you can and can't control being in a server. Our bill was $48. I got charged to my account $57 when I called the restaurant about it they said I left a 20% tip and it was written in there and I said absolutely not. I scratched out both of my tickets completely Blacked out and threw away my copy of my receipt, which was also blacked out. So absolutely don't go here if you want to get fucking stolen from and then we flat out be called a liar when you called it company about it. read more

We were in town and the husband wanted crab legs. He found this place online. Despite the mixed reviews, we decided to give it a try and ordered it to go. Super friendly staff! A bit of a hole in the wall, but do not let the location and appearance fool you! He ordered the Combo C (1/2 lb crab legs, 1/2 lb shrimp (heads off), 1 lobster tail, 2 corn cobs, 2 red potatoes, and sausage. He chose medium spicy/cajun style. He loved it! I even tried the veggies. They were very good! The perfect amount of butter and spice! I ordered the shrimp fried rice and a crab cake. I like to try crab cakes everywhere that has them. I'm a bit of a crab cake connoisseur at this point. The portion size of the shrimp fried rice was quite large! I hardly ate half of the container before becoming full. It had plenty of large shrimp that were perfectly cooked! There aren't many veggies, very few peas and carrots. And eggs, of course. Simple fried rice flavor, so not super intense in the flavor department. I did add soy sauce to add a bit more flavor. I would have liked onions and more veggies, maybe even an option to add some spiciness. The crab cake was delicious! But was super tiny. About the size of the to-go sauce container. Speaking of the sauce, it was delicious! But for $6.99, I would have expected a larger cake. All in all, we enjoyed our meals and would return if we ever visit the area again! read more

I used to visit Joe's crab shack at least once a month, but since it closed, I stopped searching for another Seafood boil restaurants. We came here for Father's day Seafood boil. This place has surprisingly good food with very reasonable price. *Restaurant: 3/5 *Service: 4/5 *Food: 5/5 *Parking: Free Parking Lot -Restaurant- Restaurant itself I believe used to be a Buffet restaurant, you can clearly see it at the 2nd half of the dining room. It was barely re-renovated, it looks as though they just made the change in the Kitchen and not much modification up front. But we will never know, things might change in the future. With that being said, for the most part the restaurant itself is clean, none of the tables are sticky, or chairs falling apart. -Service- Service is comparable to most buffet and crab boil restaurants. The staffs are friendly. they offer good amount attention to your dining experience, making sure your tables aren't full of crab shells, you have enough water...etc. I also decided to order 1 item to go, they brought it to me when the check was presented not before (Perfect). -Food- We order varies crab boil combos (B and C for the most part), as well as some fried shrimp. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the price is (especially considering how expensive seafood is right now). Crab boils you have at least 4 different flavors to choose from, as well as their own Signature Juicy Crab seasoning. You also have the option to pick your own level of spiciness. Crab boils comes in these huge plastic boil bags, with corn, potatoes and sausages as standard sides, as well as complimentary gloves, bibs and a trash bucket. Seasonings are very good. You can always order more sides as well. In conclusion: Being a seafood lover myself. I will definitely go back again. The food is great, service is good and restaurant is clean. read more

I was in the mood for seafood, but Mr. Bill's was preparing to close. Juicy Crab was the only other option. This was by far the worst seafood I've ever had. I try not to judge a place based on location because I've had some amazing meals at strip malls - not the case here. The establishment is BYO and I highly recommend taking a bottle because you'll need something strong to mask the flavor and wash it all down. The oysters were frozen, in fact, all of the seafood was frozen and the lowest quality likely available for purchase. I had to douse the oyster with lemon and cocktail sauce (which was 99% ketchup) and stopped after the second one. The Hush Puppies were mainly filler and a kernel or two of corn, oddly served with ketchup. Do not be fooled by the photos. They make it look way more appetizing than it really is. The mussels were inedible. We were able to crack the snow crab legs with our bare hands. If you've had crab legs before, you know this is nearly impossible and require a cracker or you'll cut your fingers. The corn was chewy, the butter sauce had no flavor (I requested Old Bay with spice) and all the seafood had the same pungent lingering taste. It's as if all the seafood is boiled/steamed in toilet water. We were unable to finish our meals and ended up getting fast food. $72 later (excluding tip & drive thru meals) - what a waste. Spend the extra five minutes driving to Mr. Bill's or don't go at all. There is no way a person who loves fresh seafood would recommend this place, not even to their worst enemy. read more

So I came here with my lady, thinking it was gonna be great and it was far from it. The only thing good here was the sprite and mashed potatoes. The steak was not that good. The corn had no butter what so ever, and if it did I barely tasted it. The steak was mid as can be. The steak was chewy, stringy, and under cooked on top of that the flavory was weird. They took the steak back and gave me a new sirloin and I only ate part of it because I was hungry. I made them take the steak off the bill. Me and my ladies meal was more expensive than Texas Roadhouse. Thats a shame. They finessed my pockets. To each their own, but I would never come here again. read more

I've been craving seafood for the LONGEST! So I decided to stop by Juicy Crab with my significant other. I ordered the seafood bundle of 1Lb snow crabs, 3 Corns, 1/2lb of shrimp , Sausages & 2 potatoes. The presentation was pretty neat. It came out in a large steamy plastic bag. The flavor was a bit bland I had to add more seasoning to it. It looks as if the sauce was put in first then the seafood that wasn't mixed in the sauce. The waitress was pretty patient, attentive, and honest and I appreciated that. My significant other ordered steak and mashed potatoes and it was VERY bland and chewy. Ps. They gave us a bib and gloves to eat..that was pretty neat. Overall I rate Juicy Crab at this location a 2 star because I will not be returning here. read more

June28,2025 Hands down a very good seafood boil ! Don't let the strip mall location turn you away...so much food and it was cooked perfectly . The seafood boil was exceptional, and the waitress was amazing! The portion sizes were generous. I would go back there every single day.

Decent enough food. Pretty clean. Don't like waiting 15 minutes for my check when done.

Forget Joe's Crab Shack... juicy crab is ridiculously delicious. I was in the area for two days and I ate here both days. The seafood is fresh, flavorful and cooked well! Neither rubbery or undercooked I will absolutely keep returning!!!!! I purchased a basic clam meal the first time not knowing that the egg and other items are only included in the more elaborate meals. So the next day I purchased a crab combo in lieu of the boil to get more items like corn, etc. I'm going back for my bday for suuuuuure read more

Not a bad boil place. Coworker and I stoped here for dinner when we were in the area. We decide to give this a shot. I got the garlic butter combo A. The shrimp was slightly over cooked. Dinner was a bit on the expensive side, but there was plenty of food. read more

AWESOME Small Business with great customer service and great food! We came on a weekday evening and it was pretty empty with plenty of seating! The food and boil flavor was great (we got the garlic butter flavor) and we were able to sub the crawfish for more clams! It was nice how accommodating the staff was. The best part was how FAST the food came, it came within 10 minutes of us ordering. I would recommend ordering the family meal for 3-4 people, we were 3 and it was plenty of food! Free refills on the beverages and they are BYOB! read more

Tried for the first time. I heard a lot of good things about this business. Food was really good. I didn't think it was terribly expensive. You get a lot of seafood. I will definitely be ordering again from here. There is nothing like these boils in the area. If you want something different and good seafood check this place out. read more

I always order from juicy crab and honestly the food has been good but there character is definitely within question. I order two orders of 1/2 shrimp and when I picked up my order and went home there was only one bag in there. My bf (who happened to be black) went back and they basically told him they put everything in one bag. Which makes no sense because if I ordered two separate orders for two separate people is should be given to me that way. They gave him such a hard time, he just left. When I opened the bag there was one corn and one potato (not two like it was two orders) and there was not a pound of shrimp in there. So I basically paid double for nothing. read more

Awesome food! The decor is a mix of nautical and Asian, a bit different but the place is very clean overall. Paper napkins and condiments on the table. We have tried pretty much everything on the menu and it's all been great. I usually get the steamed shrimp and calamari appetizer. Mini crab cakes and catfish are also good. Wow wow wow! When you pull up in the strip mall to take a look at it you're like "looks like a mall buffet...". And you would have been right a year or two ago! But not anymore!!!! You're also thinking "seafood??...here??" Yes! Yes!! It is the most wonderful creation of seafood in a bag! Crabs, lobster, mussels etc. but let me tell you about the sauce they steam it in! Fantastic!! Buttery, garlicky, Cajun and you can get it nice and hot!! I will be back and you need to go now! I can't believe they have no other reviews on here :( read more

Order last night and came about 40 mins before closing. When I entered the restaurant, there were some customers eating inside and to go orders waiting on the counter. I got the Combo C (1/2 crab, 1/2 Shrimp, & Lobster) with the Butter & Old Bay seasoning. 2 corn on cob & sausage. It was delicious and I felt priced reasonably!! ordered take-out-- 1lb of crawfish, garlic butter, medium spicy 1lb of crawfish, juicy special cajun, medium spicy 1lb clams, garlic butter, medium spicy 1lb dungeness crab, juicy special cajun, medium spicy + SAUSAGE 1) couldn't tell the difference between the sauces --garlic butter or juicy special cajun, which stinks because i really like these sauces at other places 2) sauces were very salty, had to rub the sauce off to eat. 3) crawfish were mostly medium-large in size. no smalls but also don't expect jumbos that will make you say, "wow!" 4) crawfish were frozen but the meat was not dried, but not juicy or sweet like fresh live ones. however, they're easy to peel like the cooked live ones. 5) dungeness crab was point on! meat was sweet. if we ever re-order, we'd get this. too bad they didn't include the top shell of the crab. 6) they forgot the $4.99 sausage we paid for, so can't review it. 7) items were well bagged, no leaks. we were given bibs, plasticware, and plenty of napkins. 8) 1 corn + 1 potato came with each lb of item. they were good! 9) clams were mediocre. i think the sauce overpowered their taste. read more

The food was great but upon time to leave we were told there was a problem with their payment system. I was charged twice. Their was no apology offered or real explanation why this happened. I was told I could just come back in if the money wasn't returned. This ruined our vacation. Stay far away the good food isn't worth the terrible customer service. read more
