Tried The Gaúcho's Way last night with my girlfriend. It was my first experience with a Brazilian steakhouse. We were seated quickly and drinking water within thirty seconds of sitting down. There was pão de queijo (a Brazilian cheese bread like an elevated Cheddar Bay Biscuit) to munch on, too. There was a full self-serve salad bar with tasty meats and cheeses as well as bread and butter, black beans and rice, macaroni and cheese, candied bacon, and clam chowder. Once we had our sides and sat back down, we were offered beverages (my girlfriend got a bottled Coke, I got a Guaraná) and waiters started bringing meat. Over the course of our meal, we were offered bacon wrapped chicken or beef (we picked chicken), top sirloin, bottom sirloin, filet mignon, Parmesan crusted pork, and more (it was a little overwhelming). Potatoes were served somewhat randomly - mashed potatoes and potato wedges - along with a palate cleanser of plantains about halfway through the meat parade. It might have been nice to have the potatoes a little earlier but we might not have had enough room for meat if we'd had the potatoes earlier. And the meat is definitely the star of the show. The space is a little small (there was a server's station right behind my girlfriend's seat) but, for the most part, that space is used efficiently. First and foremost, its a Brazilian steakhouse with tons of all you can eat meat, it is going to be pricier. With that being said, go for their lunchtime prices if you can! The salad bar is LEGIT. The problem is if you eat too much there you might miss out on some of the ribeye, lamb, filet, bacon wrapped chicken, etc coming by! All of the food was incredible, the cheesy bread is to die for. The staff is great, they brough us an anniversary ice cream/lava cake plate! Love the vibes in here! Very well kept, makes you feel like you are fine dining. Gauchos Way is a wonderful addition to Park City--I'm so glad I got to try it out when I was in town visiting my family. Atmosphere: White table cloths, gorgeous presentation at the salad bar, upscale decor-it has a special occasion vibe for sure. Service: The service at Gauchos Way was top notch, very attentive -- from our server, to the manager checking in, to all the servers who come around with meat skewers. Food: The food was excellent and so much to choose from- the house specialty picanha, the filet Mignon, ribeye, lamb chops, lamb roast, flank steak, bacon wrapped chicken, and pork ribs and sausage. Five stars all the way! The fact that I can go to a quality Brazilian steakhouse within 10 minutes, instead of driving to King of Prussia or Philly makes my day. Everything was perfect from the meats, the salad bar, and the service from the wonderful staff. This Brazilian steakhouse was such a wonderful experience. The restaurant is gorgeous. Our server, Kim was friendly and knowledgeable. She let us know that the employees work as a team in each section so if we ever needed anything to ask anyone- which is nice. I tried the recommended Brazilian cocktail and it was refreshing. Kudos to Greg and Jorge the bartenders! Included in the meal is the salad bar and a hot bar- no photos of the hot bar but there is rice, a soup, and a delicious black bean and meat dish to put on the rice that I enjoyed. The meats were all delicious! The gauchos come around to your table and if it's beef, ask how done you prefer your slice to be- I asked for medium and received medium slices. I drive an hour to eat here. Its definitely a cozier version of fogo de chao. Less expensive but equal quality. Today was my best experience and I have been here 4 times since it opened. I decided to write a review. Their salad bar has many tasty tapas style sides as well as fruit. Their mushrooms, and artichokes are my pre biotic treat with a side of their creamy corn that reminds me of elote. Their drinks are a little weak. I stick to wine. Their sides are hit or miss (depending on the day/time) This is more "fluff" food but served at your table. I do believe that AYCE establishments really get you with the sides and salad bar. They want you to Fill up on the cheap stuff so you don't have as much of the expensive meat cuts. I had a cold side on one of my visits but when they have arrived hot, they are very tasty! Their cheese bread is amazing. The potato sides are a lovely addition to the meats. These have arrived cold on one of my visits. The meats. Geeze. Wear stretchy pants. They are charred, juicy and full of flavor. You have different cuts of lamb, pork, beef and chicken options. The environment is classy. Sadly not all patrons are. It is technically an all you can eat steakhouse. You will see people dressed in their Sunday best, date night /business casual or people who are on track to being on my 600lb life. Within the dimly lit, and casually cool vibe, dotted with white table cloths and dainty tongs - you will enjoy a lovely dinner, enthusiastic service (hit or miss depending on day) at a reasonable price. My wife, son, and I just had dinner with my brother and his fiancé there. It was our first time there but definitely won't be the last. It was fantastic. The salad bar alone is awesome and an experience just in itself. Then come the meats. If you are a meat lover then its your time to shine when you flip your card over to green and they start bringing the meats. The ambiance is very nice and the staff were all fantastic, attentive, very nice. We were there for my wife and brother's fiancé's birthdays and they both got a free dessert as well. I'd heard about The Gaucho's (Note: there should not be an accent on the U) Way from a friend and decided it would be a great place to have a birthday luncheon for 3 of us. I was certainly right! We had a great time. The dining room is a nice formal-ish space, with tables spaced to allow for good conversation. Nice white table cloths, good silverware, etc. The waitstaff was wonderful and well-trained. They knew when to attend, and when to leave us alone. Very pleasant. I started with a caipirinha, which was good, but I thought a bit expensive. Their wine list is great! I especially appreciate that they have a nice selection of Spanish wines which go so well with meats and ranging from something reasonably priced to very expensive. The lowest price, a Conde de Valdemar, was $43; one is not priced out as in some places in Lancaster where the cheapest bottle is $78 or $90 for the same kind of bottle. There are also wines with prices over $200... One of us had the "salad bar" only, and the other two had that plus the meat. I put "salad" in quotes, because salad was really the least of what was available! There is also a soup, a wonderful Feijhoada, rice, Mac and cheese and more hot offerings. The number of cheeses, cold cuts, salads and additional thins like smoked salmon, potatoes, many kinds of peppers, and more. I held back to have room for the meat portion of my meal. I did not taste any of the roasted chicken or salmon. I had only lamb, beef and pork. Everything was wonderfully spiced and perfectly cooked and juicy. I wish I could have eaten more... my very favorite were the little lamb (yes, lamb not mutton like most US ovine offerings) chops: they reminded me of lamb in Spain. I give this place a 5+!! From the service to the food to the atmosphere it was a SPOT on place to go for our 15th wedding anniversary! Our waiter Ozzy was the best! My lamb was to die for! I think my husband ate 3 lbs. of different steaks! Highly recommend and will be back!When they found out it was our first time there and our 15th wedding anniversary they gave us the dessert menu and said we could order anything we wanted from it! However, all the meat was amazing and we especially liked the dishes they brought to the table like the cheese bread, potatoes, and fried plantains. They provided an allergen menu which is awesome. Mostly everything is free of allergens. The meats were delicious and better than other Brazilian steak houses closer to Philly. I had a terrible dining experience for my birthday dinner. I reached out by phone to speak with the manager. I spoke with him regarding being charged for a dessert I never received and given someone else's partially eaten dessert. The manager was supposed to adjust my bill and remove the dessert charge. That was not done nor did I receive a follow-up phone call. I waited a few days and sent a note to the restaurant via their website and another platform explaining that I was given another customer's partially eaten dessert and did not receive the dessert that I had paid for. To make it worse, I was seated right next to the server's station. This was supposed to be a romantic birthday for me. The restaurant had many empty tables, ignored the request on our reservation, and sat us right next to the servers station. It seems to me that management does not care about the customer. I just put out a review of Terra Gaucha a month ago stating that that restaurant was the best AYCE Brazilian Steakhouse I've had, but this one? It's hard to say, mostly because my family and I went there around 9pm, an hour before it closed. And really, I thought they would try to rush us out or wouldn't be professional knowing they'd have to take care of us. Fortunately, we weren't alone but, considering how much they would have to clean up, then waiting for us to leave first before they could proceed, I wouldn't be happy if I was in their shoes... But they were super nice, gentle, understanding, especially our server Kendall. She was awesome. She was not only outgoing, but she really helped my baby girl feel acclimated in the environment she was in; fast paced gauchos serving foods on skewers, servers rushing to help their patrons, the manager making sure all is running smoothly, the messes being cleared asap, the salad bar constantly being refilled, it was pretty crazy, but even through all that, my baby girl felt like she was a part of their family, which I appreciated, alot. So, pretty much all the meats I've had here, I've had at other joints, but I do have to say their ribs, chimichurri sauce, horseradish sauce (creamy or grainy), the mushrooms, jalapenos, candied bacon, and their mango salsa weren't at the other brands (besides Fogo having the candied bacon and all Brazilian places having the chimichurri). But their chimichurri sauce was probably the best I've had at any other place. It was so refreshing. Admittedly, a few of the meats were a tad bit overcooked but again, it was nearly 9:40, so I understood the reason. Even though we felt rushed and not because of the staff there's but because we had a time limit before they closed, I have to say that we finished eating in just under half an hour haha! We ate so fast... The manager there, I think his name is "Miza"? I KNEW he looked familiar and come to find out, he used to manage the Fogo De Chao in Baltimore! What a small world, but he was awesome as well. The entire staff there were awesome. Is this place #1? I'd have to come back here during their peak hours and see... Visited Sunday of opening weekend. Went for our son's birthday and we were seated in a front corner that was kind of hidden. Typical Brazilian Steakhouse setup. Had a few more hot buffet selections than I remember Fogo de Chao having. It's also a little less expensive than other Brazilian Steakhouses I have been to. Plenty of selections. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The wait staff wasn't as attentive as we are used to, and it took us over 20min to get the attention of someone to ask for our check. It was opening weekend so we wont hold that against them. We will return and do recommend. read more

We chose The Gauchos Way after reading so many positive reviews mentioning great service and excellent food. Unfortunately, our experience didn't reflect that at all. Service was the biggest disappointment. We actually had to flag down our waitress just to place our drink order. Even then, several of the drinks never arrived. When we asked about them, she brushed it off and said the bar was busy. At that point we just let it go, but when we mentioned it to the manager near the end of the meal, he brought the drinks out almost immediately. That made the earlier explanation a bit confusing. The food was also underwhelming. We've been to other Brazilian steakhouses, including Fogo de Chão, and the quality here just didn't compare. Most of the meats we tried were fairly average and nothing really stood out. For a party of six, the bill ended up being close to $500, which sets a pretty high expectation for both service and food quality. Based on the reviews, we were expecting a memorable experience, but unfortunately it fell short in both areas. Maybe it was just an off night, but our experience was so different from many of the reviews here that it left us wondering how consistent the experience really is. We had a reservation for two on Christmas Eve. When we arrived, we had to provide our last name multiple times before our reservation was located, and we were offered seating at two high-traffic tables. A kind host explained how everything worked, though that same staff member only checked in with us part of the time after that. Dinner and drinks came to about $100 per person, which I was comfortable with and expected in exchange for a quality experience. The steak itself was excellent -- easily the best tasting steak I've had, very tender and flavorful. About 20% into the meal, French fries and mashed potatoes were brought to our table without being asked for, despite there already being a variety of sides available at the salad bar. Neither of us wanted these items, and it felt unnecessary. Throughout the evening, the experience felt somewhat rushed. I did not leave feeling full and would have liked additional cuts to come back around. Some of the early cuts were not clearly explained, and the ones I preferred did not return. At one point, a server began cutting my steak without asking, which was unexpected and left a mess on the tablecloth. After spending about $200 (tip included), we were offered tap water for the second round rather than bottled, which felt a bit out of place for the price point. The check was also presented while I was still planning to order a dessert drink and I had to ask for a dessert menu. Additionally, the green/red card system was not consistently respected. One server accidentally took my card, leaving us with only one, and we were still approached and interrupted for additional meat even when the card was clearly on red. I couldn't give .5 scores, so my true rating would be a 3.5. I should start this by saying we totally understand this is a new business and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. We have been going to Brazilian steakhouses for years now so it isn't a new experience for us. The salad bar was excellent as well as the hot bar. The sides that come to the table were great as well. The bar areas are a little contested, but manageable. The waitress we started with was sweet and helpful, but apparently she clocked out and no one took over our table. I finally had to ask someone for our drinks. We also never received the cheese bread so I let a manager know and he told us we would have fresh bread in 3 minutes and that never happened. The atmosphere is definitely a welcome site my friend and I sat down and within a few moments we were approached asking what drinks we would like we informed the waiter that we were going to have the lunch buffet, which was $39 per person. This included the hot and cold buffet and a Marriott choice of meats, freshly cooked, brought to the table and sliced for you. The cold buffet was wonderful with many unique selections. The hot buffet was a total disappointment. Basically nothing was hot. While we were getting some of our meat and eating some of the cold buffet, they were brought over steak fries and mashed potatoes both cold. The meat was never cold because it was brought out right after being cooked. The service was wonderful. They were attentive and always checking on whether we wanted something else. The food was delicious overall I think they just need to get their act together on the hot buffet. I brought my family here for while we were visiting from out of town. The staff was welcoming and made a good first impression. The ambiance was warm and classy, but made you feel at home. With the young kids, often times they can be picky about what they want to eat so the options from the salad bar were great. The meat options were delicious and very well prepared. Our youngest who is not the biggest meat-eater started asking for steak as it came around and lost control of herself due to everything being so tender and flavorful. I based my satisfaction from the type of experience my wife and kids have at restaurants and they were given a great dining experience. I would say I enjoyed this place more than Fogo de Chao. When we return to Lancaster from Maryland we'll be certain to come back again for dinner. read more

One of the best Brazilian steakhouses, and It's in Lancaster PA. I've been to several, some good, some not as good. This one is good; very good! They have a really nice salad bar with several hot items including the best New England clam chowder I've had and candied bacon (yumm) My favorites are the roasted garlic, chicken salad, apple salad, cold meats, roasted peppers, mushrooms ets. But let's face it. It's all about the meat. Glorious high quality meat cooked over real charcoal. Every slice has a seared and seasoned side. My favorites and the bottom sirloin, fillet mignon and the most tender melt-in-your-mouth beef ribs, but it's all good. For the cost of a good steak dinner you get a variety of meats to savor. I recommend that you try it. Atmosphere is nice and it's very well run. You feel valued and never rushed. I've been there four times in two months and plan to go back at every opportunity. read more

First time at a Brazilian steakhouse for me personally, went with family for supper. The restaurant was very clean and pleasant, although a little tight. Service and meats were great. Gauchos were constantly around, so there was never a wait for meats. My salad bar experience was very limited, as I focused on the meats, which primarily included pork, lamb, filet, and sirloin for me, although they also had sausage, chicken, and salmon. If you have experience with Brazilian steakhouses, I believe you will enjoy this one. If you're a first-timer like me, I suggest doing a few YouTube videos on how they work, and how to get the best value for your visit because they are very different from other restaurants and on the pricy side. There is one thing about this specific location that has been noted in other reviews, which is that it is within the Park City Mall, and the dining area is in full view of patrons walking through the mall. We were well away from the windows looking in from the mall, but if being on display while you eat bothers you, that is something to also consider. read more
