It was our first visit. We came specifically for the Greek menu. It did not disappoint. We tried more dishes than we could have eaten as just 2 ppl. We saw that the restaurant's main menu though was also pretty tempting! This would be a 4 or 5 star review if it wasn't for some gaps in service. None of these we attribute to the attentive folks we interacted with. I can only attribute them to management decisions. We had a 530 reservation at Kefi prior to a 730 show at the Fulton... admittedly on a Tuesday which is probably a slower night but we've never previously suffered at a downtown restaurant by coming early on a week night. For the first 45 mins-- it seriously felt like our server was bartender, server, food delivery... we hoped he wasn't cooking but we wouldn't be surprised to learn he made our salads or whatever. It was SERIOUSLY disappointing. We would have been happy for our single servers' achievements except when he was away there was NO ONE paying any attention to us or the slowly increasing number of patrons in the restaurant-- our server had to go downstairs to the kitchen for everything and when he was away there were no other employees in the restaurant. I get it... when it's early you want to keep staff low but this felt exceptionally and sadly low until there were maybe 4 tables and it was 630. If you want to staff that low at a fine dining establishment--- I'd recommend you just don't even open that early. Plus sides: Good drinks. We had a few great martinis. Greek appetizers and entrees offered-- great! We overlooked that one that we chose was also a side dish on our entree so we had a lot more of the grape leaf rolls than we'd ever have imagined... read carefully! All good way more than anyone could eat!

I stumbled upon this rooftop by accident sorta. I was in the area and we happened to use Yelp to assist us in trying something new. It was kind of confusing to get inside for the first floor from the entrance level from the street is called a different name so you had to go through the restaurant and take the elevator to get up to the second floor rooftop which was called a different name. The first floor looks more like a family dining experience it reminds me of a old school Family Restaurant, however when you get upstairs it opens up to a beautiful well-lit room definitely Instagram worthy. As you walk outside to the mini deck it is very simple but picture worthy still. They only had one server in which it wasn't bad because it was only me and another group in this establishment but I can only imagine how it would be if it was a busy day. The food came out fast and hot and I love the curated cocktails. This is definitely a diamond in a rough for you would never suspect that there was a rooftop bar in this block of Lancaster.

Not very many things on the buffet, although all of them were hot. The restaurant was very clean, and the ambiance was good. The service was good, although the gentleman who was working didn't seem to have a lot of English, which may be a problem in the future. He was very kind and helpful though, which is a plus. I think this place has a lot of potential. They've JUST opened, and haven't ironed out the kinks yet. I will definitely be back. Suggestions to the owners: 1. You need a Meze/Combination platter (I think this is Lancaster County's first Middle Eastern restaurant, people don't know what the food is, they want to try it without committing to the whole dish.) Maybe do a "Pick 3 appetizers" for $11.99 or something. 2. The buffet was bland, don't Americanize the spices,we can handle the real seasonings, this isn't overly spicy for us. I was quite surprised to see that some of the dishes hadn't even been salted. 3. Maybe some fusion ME/American dishes? There is a place that does Shawarma fries in Chester County. Best of luck! First time trying this restaurant because it was close to my hair salon, and it did not disappoint! The place is a smaller shop in a place but it was well organized, clean, and service was quick and tentative as well. There were probably only 3 or 4 employees in the whole restaurant but it seems they have a really organized system and the food came out amazing and at a reasonable time. Cava is nothing like that. I got a chance to try the food for a work lunch event and enjoyed the food so much that I've introduced it to my husband and daughter as one of our more health quick dinner options. I've tried a variety of proteins and topping options in the BYO bowl and have been really pleased with the food quality and variety--I love all the traditional sauces (harissa, tzatziki), and the hubs loves the crazy feta. For dressing options, I highly recommend the lemon herb tahini and tahini Caesar. The online ordering is so simple and everything is completely customizable -- the hubs and kid can nix onions from their bowls and I can add all the onion options to mine. Everyone's happy! There are reserved to-go parking spaces right at the front entrance, so it's convenient to park there, run in to the pick up rack and grab my order. In and out in less than 5 min. If you eat-in, there plenty of room and seating inside and they even have a little outdoor area out back during the warm weather months. The staff work quick, so the order line generally moves well, but you occasionally have someone who is new to the concept asking a lot of questions about options, so that takes a little more time. For the most part the staff are patient in helping people who are struggling with the menu. The one miss? The desserts. We ordered the chocolate chip brownie once to share and were surprised by how small it was-- a little bigger than an AirPod case and an inch thick. Two bites, which for one person is enough, but not really a shareable. And for the price? For a pre-packaged brownie, essentially? Not worth it. Skip the sweet stuff and stick with the bowls.

Back to Lancaster's Greek restaurants, to include "gyros;" they're hella good, but expensive, elsewhere within Lancaster. The staff was super friendly and patient as I wasn't sure what I wanted to order. I opted for the classic gyro but without fries inside the pita. When we got our food, the gyro did have fries. The girl who brought our food offered to have a new one made without fries but we kept the gyro as is. The fries on the gyro didn't overtake the sandwich so it was actually pretty good. Ordered a side of fries also. Seasoned perfectly and not too oily/greasy. We never had baklava before. That dessert was very delicious. It was warmed and dusted with cinnamon as suggested by staff. It did not disappoint. Very pleased with this lunch spot. Worth the wait. Will try again. Thanks for a great experience.
