I have been a regular at this Cava location for years but I am just now writing a review bc my wife and I made the dismal decision to eat dinner at CoreLife the other night for a change of pace, and when I tell you they are trying so hard to be Cava but their food has ZERO flavor. "It's like Chipotle, but Mediterranean food!" This is how friends and family described Cava to me when it first opened, and it's the reason why I'm such a late convert -- Chipotles are usually dirty and their food is in the news too often associated with making people sick. Cava is nothing like that. I got a chance to try the food for a work lunch event and enjoyed the food so much that I've introduced it to my husband and daughter as one of our more health quick dinner options. I've tried a variety of proteins and topping options in the BYO bowl and have been really pleased with the food quality and variety--I love all the traditional sauces (harissa, tzatziki), and the hubs loves the crazy feta. For dressing options, I highly recommend the lemon herb tahini and tahini Caesar. The online ordering is so simple and everything is completely customizable -- the hubs and kid can nix onions from their bowls and I can add all the onion options to mine. Everyone's happy! There are reserved to-go parking spaces right at the front entrance, so it's convenient to park there, run in to the pick up rack and grab my order. In and out in less than 5 min. If you eat-in, there plenty of room and seating inside and they even have a little outdoor area out back during the warm weather months. The staff work quick, so the order line generally moves well, but you occasionally have someone who is new to the concept asking a lot of questions about options, so that takes a little more time. For the most part the staff are patient in helping people who are struggling with the menu. The one miss? The desserts. We ordered the chocolate chip brownie once to share and were surprised by how small it was-- a little bigger than an AirPod case and an inch thick. Two bites, which for one person is enough, but not really a shareable. And for the price? For a pre-packaged brownie, essentially? Not worth it. What a great place to grab some quick grub! My GF and I both chalked it up as a Greek Chipotle! High quality food, and instead of offering up the same old carbonated sugar beverages, they have highly healthy drinks with real juices in them. Another incredible meal at CAVA !!! This place never disappoints us . The staff is always welcoming and friendly, the food is fresh and the restaurant itself is always bright and clean . I ordered a "build your own bowl " : falafel, chicken , Persian cucumbers, salty pickles and Kalamata olives , corn , tomatoes and opted for the spicy crazy feta and spicy harissa all on brown rice . Delicious and so fresh and tasty !! My boyfriend opted for a "build your own pita" : steak , lots of hot harissa, corn, pickled onions, tomato and cucumber salad , crazy feta and skhug. It's basically a more quality ingredient with a Mediterranean spin on chipotle. Staff is friendly and the flavors are good. Plenty of allergy friendly options and they have a list of what has what allergens. The meats are hit or miss in terms of cook but overall solid flavor for a quick stop. read more

It went well this came up on my too good to go app and back home in Massachusetts. We can't usually even catch them before they sold out. So I was very excited to find out that there was a couple of bags available and they were right across the street from me so I was walking. It was 560 feet from my hotel room so I walked right across the street. They were very friendly and kind. The girl had a bowl ready. She said she didn't make it, but she didn't know if there was no nuts in it, which was perfect for me because I don't eat nuts. It was very quiet due to the fact they close at 10 o'clock so and I walked in about 20 minutes out so let me pick up my bowl early. They had premade the bowls which was fine. I'm always like to try something new. But they also came with a free drink, so I got the cucumber mint and lime. I think it was Really delicious. Cold refreshing really crisp great taste one of the better ones. I've had. I came back to my hotel. I had the some of the bowl it's got fresh cucumbers,mint, corn, feta cheese, black beans, onions, tomatoes, cabbage, etc. it looks like a really good bowl is very heavy on weight refreshing in color It has like a creamy dressing on it I ate it hot, but I think it's probably meant to be more of a cold salad, but I definitely may want to try it back home even without having the deal from too good to go. This one's very easy to get to it's located right off the highway in the plaza that also has like several of the stores as well as a Whole Foods market and some other businesses like target etc. Everyone was wonderful and kind. I absolutely love the fresh and bowl flavors that cava provides. The vegetables are always fresh and the proteins are always moist. People are right when they describe it as a Mediterranean chipotle. The line works in the same way where you build your bowl up until you reach the cash register. The prices are a little expensive but well worth it. Make sure you try the braised lamb And the cucumber is my all-time favorite. Can't wait for one to be built in Harrisburg. read more

This place is what I think is the healthy Mediterranean version of Chipotle (not saying chipotle can't be healthy). It has the same layout of a chipotle where you go and build your own food. The clean feeling that it leaves you once you're done eating is the best part. Feel full and feel clean. There are many choices in how to build your bowl or pita wrap. Start at the base of rice/veggie, scoops of Mediterranean classic dips, then to protein, to toppings, and finish with dressing. I love their honey chicken for protein as it has good balance between flavor of sweetness and a little kick. Service is good overall; fast and efficient. Wow, this has been my favorite place to eat. Considering I'm in the Midwest, it is hard to find locations. Traveling thru PA, my family and I were very excited when we saw a Cava. Immediately upon arrival we were extremely disappointed. Considering my family has never been, they were a bit slow to order. Keep in mind no one was behind us. The co-workers, one of them being Aliyah, were laughing at us, talking about us, and rushing through our order, not helpful at all. I apologized for my family and the registerer rolled her eyes. We got there just as it opened up, the staff was really nice and they helped us out with ordering since it was our first time there. The restaurant itself was very clean and smelled great as you walked in. They have so many options to choose from and it is awesome. I'm used to Chipotle where I'm from but this place is far out better. After assembling my bowl and grabbing a drink I was eager to dig in and it did not disappoint. I would rate it a 4.5 star for the taste because it was AMAZING. I finished my entire plate both times. The reason why I'm not rating a five star is because I got food poisoning from the meat . I got really bad (D) the day after eating each meal. I definitely will come back but I will choose a different meat next time and see if that makes a difference. A welcome addition to the Belmont Shoppes! We ordered take out from here this past weekend and were surprised how large the portions were. Its pretty much the same as a Greek style Chipotle or Core Life where you can order pre-selected bowl options or create your own. Select your base (salad/greens/rice/grains), proteins, toppings, sauces/dressings (the yogurt dill was a personal fave). Husband had the harissa avocado bowl and I had a create your own grains and greens bowl. Portions could easily feed 2 and came with a nice fluffy pita. I wish they offered a smaller size bowl or kids bowl (they currently only have kids pitas/wraps) maybe for a cheaper price as I couldn't finish mine, and I'm not a fan of leftover overnight salad. Love their selection of lemonades and beverages along with some independent colas. The location is a bit bonkers thanks to all the cement islands and little "town" shoppes. Its like they designed each parking lot just for their store not taking into consideration the parking lot as a whole in general. Easiest access is to turn by the Whole Foods, then turn left near the town shoppes (Tmoblie and Fine Wines) then take another left to the parking lot and CAVA is on the right. (Parking here is better than the like 6 "spaces" they have on the towny side). Just take your time and watch the other cars. People don't seem to pay attention or get lost in the lot. read more

Driver texted me to come out and get food from his car, I didn't see the message till after my class. I would very much like to give this new Cava 4 stars or maybe even 5 because I always get the same thing and I love the taste, but, I can't. I usually go to Cava when I visit Maryland. But this new one in Lancaster is closer to my home so I had to try it. We went with friends expecting the same yummy food we've had before. First, there were no pitas. Not large ones, not small ones. None. So, my husband was bummed but switched to a grain bowl. When he was asked what protein he chose his protein and asked about getting 2 different ones. He was told that there would be a charge for double protein and we knew that, but, he wanted to just have have spicy and half not spicy and the person behind the counter said, "I can do that for you, no problem ". And so he did. Then it was my turn and I got the chicken as usual. I asked about getting just a little less chicken because I wanted to taste the lamb ( I know, getting adventurous) and the person said they could do half and half again. I said just a little bit of lamb because I just wanted a taste. No problem. When we sat down to eat with our friends price came up and although we all had the same thing ours was a few dollars more. I asked the cashier and she said there's a charge for splitting the protein. So apparently my few pieces of lamb cost almost $3.00 and his 2 different meatballs was an additional dollar or two. The cashier said, "Oh, didn't hey tell you?" Well, no, they didn't. And, they should have. My salad was good with the exception, laughingly enough, of the lamb. I love lamb but this was tough and fatty. If I ever go back I will stick with the chicken I like. The Tzaziki is delish and the toppings I go for are the relishes and corn and pickled onions. They are great. My husband wasn't happy because he wanted a gyro. Our friends said it was "OK". But they would have liked pita. I feel as though the cashier should have referred this to a manager but she didn't and I didn't push it. So, Cava, post the prices accurately. Surprises like this one are not enjoyed. read more

I'm totally obsessed with this place, having eaten here twice a week since it's discovery. I never heard of them before a co worker ordered Cava for lunch. I eyed that meal up like nobody's business and raced over immediately after work. It did not disappoint. I have since placed my orders online and it's always ready and perfect when I arrive. I've since turned my daughter onto them as well. I always order the same thing, a make your own grain bowl. She has also ordered a make your own grain bowl but also tried their pitas. She's a fan of spicy food and ordered one that was to have some heat, it was too much for her so be warned......spicy means HOT! My personal combo is chicken and roasted veggie grain bowl with basmanti rice, calamatta olives, feta, hummus and the pita bread...YUM! I have become absolutely obsessed with Cava over the past few months. I crave it at least once a week! The food is always so fresh and flavorful. The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. Although the price point is a bit on the high side, I don't mind paying a little more for the quality you get. I like that the restaurant is set up in a "Subway" style, where you go through the line and tell them what you want. This makes for fast service every time! The Harissa Honey Chicken is absolutely incredible. Slightly sweet with a good punch of flavor and spice. I am SO happy to have a Cava restaurant close to home. CAVA recently opened in a busy local shopping center and occupies the space of a former Mediterranean restaurant chain. It was a coworker's birthday and we allowed her to choose a place for us to treat her to lunch. She is new to our office and lives out of county, therefore she is not familiar with local establishments so she called upon our team, or me, to name some places to go. She wanted "Greek" so I named a couple places I knew of but mentioned CAVA as a "Mediterranean" establishment. She and a several others attended this occasion. None of us were familiar with the menu. The model mostly simulates Subway/Chipotle...meaning you can customize and craft your own dish. You choose your vehicle (bowl or pita) then build from there. I must say that CAVA offers many options to customize your meal. They do not shy away from bold flavors and even offer lamb on their menu. Everyone is our party was happy with their choices and everyone agreed to return at a later time. CAVA is doing it right, even being a chain restaurant. read more
