So good! Cute little cafe shop with great food and drinks. The pastries also look amazing. The pricing is average and portion sizes are very reasonable. The cashier was very nice too. You can tell that everything is made fresh and with real ingredients. I would definitely some back and get this again.

Food here is a bit pricy but quality and service is wonderful! I ordered the Market Fresh Sandwich with a few substitutions and the sandwich came out super scrumptious. Still dreaming about those pesto and avocado combo! A quaint little coffee shop with good vibes.

A hand with painted nails holds a wrap sandwich filled with ground meat, sliced avocado, and leafy greens. The wrap is partially open, revealing the ingredients inside. The background shows a wooden table and a person wearing a black jacket seated behind the hand. A plate with orange slices is partially visible in the foreground.

Came in for breakfast and coffee. We had the blueberry muffin which was moist and delicious. Tons of blueberries. It is made in-house as well. We had the shakshuka and Santa Fe burrito (eggs, salsa, refried beans, cheddar cheese. avocado & spinach on a wheat wrap) both were so tasty and filling. It was a great start to our morning before we made our drive home. This is a great spot, and we are looking forward to our next visit.

One of my favorite places to eat in downtown Lancaster! The atmosphere is always cozy & inviting. During the warmer months outdoor seating is offered. Food is always fresh, nice sized menu with decent prices. There are always seasonal specials on the board and there are new soups daily. There's a large selection of coffees, lattes, cold brew, teas, etc - as well as different milk alternatives. Local juice's & Kombucha are also offered. Cafe One Eight loses points for me for ordering time. Usually there's only one person running register & drinks. This often leads to long wait times depending on how busy it is. During the busier hours it's not uncommon to wait 10-15 min in line just to put in an order...

Disgusting cheese curds on top of defrosted "ciabatta" roll with overcooked (micro'd) egg. UGH !!

Coffee grinds in coffee,, microwaved old "ciabatta" rolls used for worst egg sandwich I ever had and I spent 2 years in the Army !! A glop of tasteless, inedible cheese toped off this terrible sandwich. Wife's parfait was not good at all and they most likely did not make that fresh either. Owners unprofessional response consisted of slamming a couple of spelling errors instead of being a true leader and find out what went wrong and how they could improve. They most likely stay in business due to their location. Tired of spending $30 for breakfast in these "coffee shops" when their food is micro'd and defrosted breads top their menus. I did give it 2 stars until the person who responded decided spelling errors were more important than finding out what went wrong this morning. !!!! This from a kid who has used spellcheck their whole life !!!!

A serving of French toast topped with sliced strawberries and blueberries is presented on a white square plate. The French toast appears golden brown, and the berries are fresh and vibrant. A small white cup of yogurt with honey drizzle is placed beside the toast. The plate is set on a wooden table with a napkin wrapped around a utensil. The setting suggests a breakfast or brunch meal at a café or restaurant.

In Lancaster there seems to be no shortage of cute coffee houses and cafes. Cafe One Eight is one of those that really hits the mark. Cafe One Eight serves a variety of breakfast items. I ordered the oatmeal with fresh blueberries. The oatmeal was delicious but more like dessert for me. The steel cut oats were on the dry side and very sweet. 16 year old ordered a parfait which included the oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit. The tartness of the yogurt went well with the sweet oats. The menu has breakfast sandwiches, but the servers graciously cooked eggs and sausage to order for my husband. There were two choices for plain old American coffee (self service) and they were both good. The decor is pleasant and modern. Nice way to start the morning!

Fall menu, love the flight board option. Pickup spot! - A black chalkboard menu with decorative fall-themed illustrations lists seasonal drinks such as Pumpkin Pie Latte, Pumpkin Cold Brew Shakeato, Fall Light Board, and Lancaster Fog. The menu is mounted on a white wall, with a black pendant light hanging above it. Below the menu, a wooden counter with a small sign indicating online order availability is visible. The café interior features a rustic wooden panel wall and minimal decor.

I did not try coffee or any pastries so this review is based off just a simple breakfast sandwich and when I do try coffee I'll give it a better proper review! I loved learning about this company when I looked them up online and the inside was super cute! I wanted just a breakfast sandwich so I did the create your own- ciabatta, bacon, egg and cheddar. It was just a plain sandwich, probably not worth $6, but it was tasty enough in its simplicity. Since I wasn't drinking coffee I opted for the closest beverage they had which was apple juice! They did have some seasonal beverages and the pastries looked good, next time I'm in Lancaster I'll have to give them another try!

A nice little spot for a cup of coffee or breakfast with a chic ambience. The coffee is decent overall - it is neat that they have all house made syrups for their lattes. The food is pretty good - the cinnamon swirl French toast is delicious and the build your own breakfast sandwich is a nice offering. The service is a bit slower than some of the other cafes downtown, but the staff were friendly and welcoming so it was still a good experience. The location is great, perfect for a nice stroll around downtown Lancaster after stopping by.

I am in love with this place! It's my first time here and absolutely enamored. It's right down the street from a Starbucks (which is bigger) but today my daughter and I went to Starbucks and the service at Starbucks was so dreadful that we left because of it. After searching we saw Cafe One Eight and I was very happy that Starbucks made the mistake or I wouldn't have known about this place! It's so much better than Starbucks! Independently owned, amazing staff, cool decor, lots of space, really cool people (patrons), amazing vibe, good prices, good and wide selection of food, and the best ingredient? Amazing coffee! They even sell shirts that were so cool! I tried buying it but they were out of my size. I will absolutely get one when they're back in stock! My daughter and I came from shopping and have been hanging out here for the last hour and we are so happy with this place! It has the greatest vibe. You won't want to leave! Give this place your money, it's badass! (see pictures)

Delicious breakfast. I had the Baja breakfast. It had an egg base topped with potatoes, mushrooms, corn, beans, bacon, cheese and avocado. Sour cream on the side. Loved it.

a brick wall and wooden floor - The image shows the interior of a café with a white brick wall and wooden flooring. Two black pendant lights hang from the ceiling above the counter, which has a white distressed wood finish. On the counter, there is a large espresso machine, coffee cups, and other coffee-making supplies. A shelf on the brick wall holds various bottles and containers. Part of a wooden table and a metal stool are visible in the foreground.

The beau and I stopped here for a quick breakfast. The food was good and the coffee was good and the decor was nice and comfortable. I really enjoyed the food which was healthy and well prepared.

I recently decided to turn in my CDL and head back into the office, which allows me more time to get my workouts in and perfect my look. Normally, when I pick up something new, I do a lot of research; I dive all in. I'm glad I "dived into" coffee. When you're a truck driver, you usually hit truck stops where the coffee isn't great. However, being diverse and cultured, I started trying coffee in Latin communities. I noticed they used special machines, which sparked my interest. I eventually started visiting specialty coffee shops. Most of the places I get food from don't open until 10:00 AM, but coffee shops are open much earlier. That's how I found Passenger Coffee here in Lancaster. I knew it was going to be a great spot the moment I walked in; it was clean, inviting, and smelled amazing. A friendly employee greeted me with a smile, and their pastry display looked great. I told her I was new to coffee--only about two months in--but that I was enjoying trying different kinds. I explained how I normally take my coffee and mentioned that the last time I had one, it had foam on top. She gave me a small coffee to try, as well as one with foam (a latte or cappuccino). I think that's all I want to drink from now on! I used to make fun of people who said, "Don't talk to me until I've had my first cup," but now I finally understand why. I highly recommend this place for the excellent customer service and the cleanliness of the location. The pricing is affordable, too. I hope my review helps!

It is a cute little shop located in the Gallery Row area of downtown Lancaster. The inside is small and seats maybe around 20 people. There is a display case full of their pies right up front, and to get to the bathroom you walk down a hallway where you can see them making the pies, which was a nice touch. For my coffee, I went with a coconut latte, and my family decided to split a 4 inch coconut cream pie. The cashier was especially kind to my kids, which is definitely worth mentioning. I tried the pie first, and it was really good. Both the whipped cream and the coconut custard were excellent and really emphasized the coconut flavor. I also appreciated the toasted coconut on top, which added a bit of crunch and a slightly different flavor. As for the coffee, it was good as well. The coffee flavor was bold and rich up front, followed by a coconut syrup finish that had a nice flavor without being overwhelming. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I thought both the pie and the coffee were good, and I would love to try more of their pies.
