Lovely owner. Good selection of food. We tried their rice and chicken and we really loved how they marinate their chicken.

It was a good portion, I was satisfied and everything was cooked really well. My boyfriend ordered the pork gyro (higher plate) with tomato, red onion, lettuce and tzatziki wrapped in pita bread with a side of fresh cut fries and ketchup. First time trying this restaurant because it was close to my hair salon, and it did not disappoint! The place is a smaller shop in a place but it was well organized, clean, and service was quick and tentative as well. There were probably only 3 or 4 employees in the whole restaurant but it seems they have a really organized system and the food came out amazing and at a reasonable time. If you're ever in the Lancaster area looking for delicious Greek food I'd highly recommend this restaurant! And I will definitely be back!

Most items are scratch made down to the pita and they even grow their own herbs. When ordering dessert the owner offered to make us an off menu item he was trying which hopefully makes it onto the menu soon! Additionally a really good drink/beer list! The owner came and spoke with us for a bit and is a very kind and cool guy. This place is absolutely with a try!

You guys are doing it so much better and it's nottttt close. Hot honey harissa bowl is my go to. (I'll post my most recent photo of one here that I picked up and ate for lunch.) Portions are generous, produce is fresh, meat is well-seasoned, sauces are rich and savory, vibes are immaculate.

This is how friends and family described Cava to me…read morewhen it first opened, and it's the reason why I'm such a late convert -- Chipotles are usually dirty and their food is in the news too often associated with making people sick. Cava is nothing like that. I got a chance to try the food for a work lunch event and enjoyed the food so much that I've introduced it to my husband and daughter as one of our more health quick dinner options. I've tried a variety of proteins and topping options in the BYO bowl and have been really pleased with the food quality and variety--I love all the traditional sauces (harissa, tzatziki), and the hubs loves the crazy feta. For dressing options, I highly recommend the lemon herb tahini and tahini Caesar. The online ordering is so simple and everything is completely customizable -- the hubs and kid can nix onions from their bowls and I can add all the onion options to mine. Everyone's happy! There are reserved to-go parking spaces right at the front entrance, so it's convenient to park there, run in to the pick up rack and grab my order. In and out in less than 5 min. If you eat-in, there plenty of room and seating inside and they even have a little outdoor area out back during the warm weather months. The staff work quick, so the order line generally moves well, but you occasionally have someone who is new to the concept asking a lot of questions about options, so that takes a little more time. For the most part the staff are patient in helping people who are struggling with the menu. The one miss? The desserts. We ordered the chocolate chip brownie once to share and were surprised by how small it was-- a little bigger than an AirPod case and an inch thick. Two bites, which for one person is enough, but not really a shareable. And for the price? For a pre-packaged brownie, essentially? Not worth it. Skip the sweet stuff and stick with the bowls.

We were escorted to the second floor dining area that had such a beautiful and elegant look to it. Our server was Judy, who advised us that she was very new to the establishment but in no way would we have ever guessed that because she fit so well and she was perfect for the position. Judee advised us of the specials and attended to us frequently to make sure that our experience was amazing. We ordered soup, and I can honestly say that the seafood corn chowder was to heavenly. I also ordered for my entrée, the Chilean Seabass. It was well prepared so light with a bit of a a crispiness around the edges that just melted in my mouth. Everything was so delicious. One of our sides was the sweet potato casserole, which I tried for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it is. For my first experience at your goals, I will definitely say I will be a repeat customer. It was definitely the highlight of my Friday night and the best way to end my work week.

Definitely lemony, custardy egg thick and rice; this is something I'll need to compare with another, avgolemono. Perhaps the addition of a bit more chicken stock (to thin it out) and some larger pieces of chicken, would have evened out the flavors. Back to Lancaster's Greek restaurants, to include "gyros;" they're hella good, but expensive, elsewhere within Lancaster. I know; I've heard it all before: we make our pita and dips from scratch, our feta is flown in from Greece, fries are hand cut (yeah yeah, yadda yadda) and you leave, wondering why your bill for two gyros, was near to $70. This was not the case with Souvlaki Boys and they're gyros are just as good, tender, savory meat, soft pita, stuffed with your choice of homemade tzatki sauces, feta, loaded with fresh, crunchy salad veggies and yes, hand cut fries - all within this gal's budget.

Luckily, there's a private parking lot behind the store that you can park or you can street park. I think there is garage parking a short walking distance away. It's a quaint corner restaurant with indoor seating. You can dine in or take out. There's a bench to use if you're waiting for take out and there's probably enough seating for about 20 guests. Food is made to order. Expect to wait. The staff tells you ahead of time that it may take 15-20 minutes to prepare. I'm perfectly Ok with waiting for a freshly made order. The staff was super friendly and patient as I wasn't sure what I wanted to order. I opted for the classic gyro but without fries inside the pita. When we got our food, the gyro did have fries. The girl who brought our food offered to have a new one made without fries but we kept the gyro as is. The fries on the gyro didn't overtake the sandwich so it was actually pretty good. Ordered a side of fries also. Seasoned perfectly and not too oily/greasy. We never had baklava before. That dessert was very delicious. It was warmed and dusted with cinnamon as suggested by staff. It did not disappoint. Very pleased with this lunch spot. Worth the wait. Will try again. Thanks for a great experience.

By now you're wondering, why only 3.5, Jackie - come on and make it an even 4! It all boils down to the customer service. The cashier was friendly, but your salad maker, not so. I cringe (oddly enough), when I give my order to her. She doesn't smile or look at me. I know it's not me, but still... She piles my fixings on the heaped lettuce and passes it over to the cashier (I don't even think she talks to the cashier). We'll still come back, especially since we have coupons, now. Maybe their ice machine will be fixed, by then.

I asked for a new melt and the girl that made it copped an attitude and continued slamming Tupperware and throwing a temper tantrum while rushing to make the melt. Genuinely the worst customer service experience I've had in awhile the vibes were abysmal in there. And the salad? Wet. Idk what they did but it was wet and homogenized and the croutons were so stale. I couldn't eat any of that I was so disappointed. Worst $50 I ever spent. Get better employees.
