Still 3.5 **Please fix your ice machine. What can I say? I want ice! Next, matter of importance - my husband loves your salad and it SEEMS, this is one of the only way I can get him to eat his veggies. I thank SaladWorks for this. All ingredients are fresh, crunchy and can be healthy, IF you all didn't have such yummy tasting salad dressings. My favs are the tahini viniagrette and the green goddess. By now you're wondering, why only 3.5, Jackie - come on and make it an even 4! It all boils down to the customer service. The cashier was friendly, but your salad maker, not so. I cringe (oddly enough), when I give my order to her. She doesn't smile or look at me. I know it's not me, but still... She piles my fixings on the heaped lettuce and passes it over to the cashier (I don't even think she talks to the cashier). We'll still come back, especially since we have coupons, now. Maybe their ice machine will be fixed, by then. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would. We went to this establishment at 7:30 pm and were met with a negative snappy staff member who was more concerned with closing an hour and a half early than serving edible food. I ordered a melt and a salad and by the time we got our food I open the melt and it's black. Charred. Both sides. I took one bite hoping it would be fine but it was straight char. I asked for a new melt and the girl that made it copped an attitude and continued slamming Tupperware and throwing a temper tantrum while rushing to make the melt. Genuinely the worst customer service experience I've had in awhile the vibes were abysmal in there. And the salad? Wet. Idk what they did but it was wet and homogenized and the croutons were so stale. I couldn't eat any of that I was so disappointed. Worst $50 I ever spent. Get better employees. read more

Pretty simple: Ordered two salads to go, got home and started eating them, both were completely wilted and full of water. The ingredients were tasteless and the chicken was dry. I can't recommend going here at all. Ate at other saladworks before and they were always decent. $33 and no dinner as we threw them out. read more

Store was filthy, service was mediocre, food was okay. The customer-facing wall is so dirty and obviously hasn't been cleaned in a long time... I wouldn't want to know how dirty the kitchen is or the parts of the store that customers don't see. I will not eat here again. read more

See all

Store hours are from 11-9 Monday through Sunday. I walk in at 8:15 and I'm told the store is closed with a very rude tone last night 1-5-25. Won't be patronizing this place again. read more

Low quality, high price. $16 for a salad that is weaker than a side salad at a sit down restaurant. And a drink. The fountain sodas were broken so they up charge for a bottle. The staff clearly did not want to be there. The chicken pieces are so small and they barely give you any. At 400 cal be ready to go spend extra money elsewhere so you can have a meal. They clearly only care about the money that they make and not about the experience of the customer. read more

Saladworks - Not the best - Vegetarian Near Me - Lancaster, Pennsylvania

This place is in need of serious retraining and a cleaning. First off, the counter where the veggies/food is on display is a mess! There is ingredients all over the inside and in other ingredients, such as tomatoes in the banana pepper bin. Speaking of banana peppers, I think a 3 year old could slice better. They were sloppily cut, with seeds still in them. The employee that helped me had issues following the directions (which are hanging on the back of the display cooler) and they need to SLOW DOWN! I understand the concept of "fast food" but take alittle time and care, especially when there was no one else in line. Also, straight vinegar and balsamic vinaigrette are 2 different things. Salad didn't even taste fresh when I got it home, so it was chucked. I used to like this place, but now will think twice before returning- if it continues to stay open. read more

Extremely high price for salads. I don't feel it's worth the cost. My wife & I ate there once & that was the last time.

Love me some Saladworks, especially when they take expired coupons and offer discounts you can earn through their app. I've been coming here a few years now and haven't had bad service. At times the dining area looks like it could use some attention and the line is usually a few people deep regardless of when you go. On the plus side they're not skimpy and give you ample amounts of fixings in your salad. Since I usually get the half salad/sandwich I like that they sub the tomato on the avocado blt for more avocado at no extra charge. I will however always miss their spinach and artichoke potato soup. I hope they bring it back one day - it's the best soup ever! Don't forget that you don't have to get the bread and can choose chips instead. That's something they don't always offer so do ask. Sign up for their app before you go and start earning points towards special offers right away. I especially like that the app will give you the heads up a few weeks before your points expire. Score one for savings! read more

Saladworks - Bogo salad to go on $7 Tuesday. - Vegetarian Near Me - Lancaster, Pennsylvania

I've been going to Saladworks for quite some time now. I've ordered numerous items off the menu and want to give an honest review. Saladworks is perfect example a great idea, that was not executed well. Although I may have not had many negative experiences with the quality of their food although I know there are reviews that talk about that. My main issue is their customer service and online orders(what I often use). The last order I had from there, I ordered their baked potato soup with my order but when I arrived at home after picking up my order. I found that instead of recieving baked potato, I got cheddar and broccol, which I'm not a fan of. That was a disappointing order, especially considering the pricing of the meal. I'd think that for the price I was paying, I would receive service of equal value. I also have my information connected to my Saladworks account. Why have my personal contact information, but not use it when needed. This is not the first time, my order has been botched in some way and I truly wish for things there to improve. read more

For the second time in a row, I got salads with wilted lettuce plus the core of the lettuce head. After removing the bad lettuce, I was left with only half salads. The lobster bisque was only a creamy broth that I ended up drinking. The one positive thing was the friendly wait staff and cookies. read more

Employees consistently have their noses uncovered. I like their salads a lot but can't eat there any more.

Liz *she has pink hair and glasses* IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!! every single time she has made my order everything has been WRONG!!!! Do not go to the girl, she has half a brain and does not try to please the customer. I see why she works at salad works. How is the person a manager?????? Very incompetent!! I called them and asked what they could do to fix my salad because for me it was not edible, she laughed on the phone and said there nothing she's going to do. I'll be calling corporate about her. These are repeated issues with this person & she should no longer work at this place EDIT: the GM just called me and call me a stupid ass bitch, wow I'm blown away. I will be reporting both of them to cooperate. read more

I was in a hurry and needed something fast. I was ordering from a wonderful young lady who said her name was Addy or Abby (couldn't tell because the mask) She asked me what I would like and to be honest I wasn't quite sure yet. She waited patiently and guided me through what each menu option consist of. And when I had decided the young lady sprung into action and expertly made what I ordered. She was so fast and surely knew what she was doing for someone as young as she. The food was amazing! Customer service was EVEN BETTER! And I would 10/10 recommend this place for a quick bite to eat. To the young lady who worked with me; YOU GO GIRL! read more

Thanks to the team at the Centerville Saladworks! I picked up a Sophie's Salad today around 4 PM and it was delicious! All vegetables and fruit were fresh and cut into bite sized pieces. The amount of salad dressing tossed into my salad was perfect. The warm roll is a great touch. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The team was very friendly and accommodating. Great job everyone!! Thanks for your attention to detail and customer service! read more

Typical of any other version of this chain, but doesn't deserve the one star review someone left. The ingredients were fairly fresh, the employees were very friendly and helpful, and the place is pretty well kept. Its not a bad place for a quick lunch that's way better than a greasy fast food joint. read more

Just experienced the WORST customer service I think I have ever experienced. I am not one to write negative reviews but wow, buyer beware. Our team ordered lunch from salad works, paid via credit card and had one of our employees stop on her way in to pick it up. The food arrives and we realize we are missing multiple items, a salad, a soup, bread, and a drink. Mistakes happen, no big deal so we call the store we ordered from Salad Works on Centerville Road in Lancaster PA. First they inform me that we are incorrect that they gave us all of their food. Then we are told oh, we did miss a salad. I explain again what we are missing and I am told okay yes we see that. Then she asks if we would like to drive back to pick up our items, to which I respond we woudl rather not as we are working, we would like it delivered. The employee on the phone tells her manager we would like the missing items delivered to which the manager responds No, they can come pick it up. I inform her this was not our mistake and we do not wish to take more time out of our work schedules to drive back to their business for a mistake they made. The manager then gets on the phone and informs me their driver does not wish to drive the 3-5 minutes to our office and we can come pick it up. I state again it was not our mistake to which the manager tells me we should have checked to make sure our order was correct before leaving. My jaw obviously dropped at this point, never would I tell my customer to double check my work but apparently at Salad Works you need to ensure for them that they do their job correctly. She informs me that they will not be delivering our food and if I want she can refund me. Still shocked I say I guess we will not have lunch for our other employee and take the refund. To which I have not yet received. So we sit here eating in front of another employee who does not have our food and no refund and in shock at how badly we were treated by your MANAGER at Salad Works in Lancaster, PA on Centerville Road. read more

I payed for a romaine salad, carrots, cheese, bacon, crotons and light ranch dressing $ 9.75. Are you kidding.. no meat on it! Oh I forgot I got a french bun with it..I'm not sure though if I had to pay extra for it. I was in too much of a chock about the price of a salad. What a rip-off! read more

Constantly having to argue about the rolls. Sometimes they are out of them completely and got attitude when I asked if wife and I could split a cookie since they had no rolls and I don't eat potato chips. Next time told large soup doesn't come with a roll even though I know is does. This time told grain bowls don't come with rolls even though I know they do. Even when I showed pink haired supervisor (she never wears a name tag) that their own web site shows rolls come with grain bowl I was told "I just go by what the owner says". Ended up having to get a salad because the quinoa was hard as a rock. Definitely the customer does not come first here. read more

Went here for the first time. The location was convenient and the store was clean. The workers weren't all that friendly but it was very busy. Got a cobb salad and a roll to go for $9.29 + tax. When I got it home, I noticed that the plate was designed in such a way to make it look like you got more for your money so I decided to weigh the contents. Without the dressing and plate, it came up to 11 oz. That puts this salad at a cost of $13.40 lb, far more than you would pay for even at Whole Foods. Cost aside, the salad was ok. The flavor was good, however, the lettuce was wilted. To me the crispness makes a salad. Also, I got a small soup, 8 oz. for $4.69. Seemed pretty high to me. Doubt that I'd go back there again when there are so many other places around to choose from for those prices. read more

Not sure what the one and two star reviewers were looking for, but my salads have always been very generous in size with plenty of very fresh toppings. All of the soups I've tried were delicious. My only quibble is they aren't always really hot enough. The whole wheat rolls are always fresh and hot. Update: nothing has changed since my previous review except the soups are hotter. Still a great place. read more

Love this place! I come here all the time with cast mates from the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. Quick. Convenient. Fresh. Great!

The squash is salty! If you are watching your sodium intake avoid the squash that is in the farmhouse salad! I couldn't tell if these were just capers in disguise! Aside for that it felt like a normal Saladworks. read more

They couldn't figure out that we had placed an online order so it kind of defeated the purpose. It also just wasn't very good. I had less than one brussel sprout total and two tiny pieces of avocado on my whole salad. Not worth it. Save your $10! read more

We had a field hockey tournament in the area and decided to stop in to give this place a try. So glad we did. The food was pretty good - fresh, flavorful with a good selection - but what made this place so special was the excellent customer service by the African-American young lady. She was so friendly and helpful! Since we aren't from the area, we asked what there is to do. She gave us several suggestions and even took time to write everything down for us! How nice was that?!?! If you want good food and a place that makes you feel welcomed, go to this place. read more

As always with Saladworks, I had a great soup and salad. The employees are very friendly. June L. read more

I dined at this Saladworks before but since I started dieting I've eaten here 5 times in the last two months. It's clear that this location is under new management. Each of my recent visits have been met by excellent customer service and delicious salads. It's apparent that ingredients at Saladworks are prepared fresh. All of the ingredients have a nice fresh crunch to them! I especially enjoy the roasted brussels sprouts! They have tons of options to choose from. My salad was served with a warm roll and there were tons of drink options to accompany it! The store manager is usually there to ring me up and even though I don't eat there too often she remembers my order. I wouldn't order a salad anywhere else after having a Saladworks salad! I will definitely continue to choose the Centerville Saladworks when I want a healthy, delicious meal. read more

Pretty good spot for a quick salad. I like the options and the create your own. I've gotten the farmhouse and Thai and enjoyed both.

I've been to this salad works many times and I've never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious and the price is great for the quality. The staff is always super friendly. The GM Miranda came to my table the last time I was there to check on me. She was very greatful for my business and very appreciative of the things I was saying. On top of all that they just got a fountain soda machine which they never had before. I would def recomend this place for a great cheap meal! read more

Really disappointing. $10 for lettuce, carrots, cucumber, corn, & broccoli, & egg and then they charged me another 69 cents for a side of dressing! To make matters worse, there were ham pieces mixed into my salad. I do not eat meat! I would have complained in person but my order was to go. Would definitely NOT go back. read more

8.50 for a salad that consisted of lettuce, 1 teaspoon of soybeans, 1 teaspoon of cheese, 1 teaspoon of eggs, and about 8 croutons....yes young man behind the counter...you certainly have the little dip and flip with the tongs to make it look like you are really putting on the additions. I was shocked at the level of stinginess and said something to the absolutely unemotional young girl at the register...she just started at me and did not say anything. I will never go back to this place again. read more

I understand why people go here, they think they are eating healthy... But really the menu is far from healthy.. And when you do try to chose items that are healthier they have NO flavor. I've had two different salads, no flavor and lettuce that didn't taste fresh. My husband and I have tried their paninis and wraps on two different occasions and they were supposed to have warm chicken and cheese.. I'm sorry there is something wrong when they grill your panini and the center is still cool and the shredded cheese is not even melted. read more

Every time my family goes here for lunch or dinner they are out of something carrots, soups, wheat rolls.... When you place an order online they never make it and they look at you like you are crazy when you walk in to pick up the things that you placed online so it would be ready when you get there and they assure you it won't happen again (it happened 3 times) and recently I got all the way home and they forgot my dressing for my salad. Safe to say I will never go back to there again I would rather drive to one further away than get poor service. read more

Pay almost $9.00 for a salad that is very little lettuce and almost no toppings. Won't waste my time or money here anymore. Unfortunately now that Salad Works has grown and they have opened several more locations they have all become like this and they stopped having the $5.00 salad of the day which was the only thing reasonably priced for what you get. read more

Got a panini and it took 30 minutes while the place wasn't even that busy. They messed up my order because they had no way of communicating by tickets or anything. Had to tell cashier what I ordered to pay, had to tell the lady making the panini what I got, and she still messed up. It was chaos and I felt bad for the cashier bc he was busy trying to do everything. No organization in management whatsoever. Not the type of person to write nasty reviews but my experience was brutal. read more

Not even deserving of one star. Saladworks has become noticeably stingy with their ingredients. When paying $10 for a salad, I'd expect more than 3 half cherry tomatoes thrown in and more than a spoonful of the other ingredients in the salad. If you like lettuce and salad dressing for $10, go here. Otherwise, I'd stick with Panera. read more

We have been to this Saladworks many times in the past and have always enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the service is really starting to go downhill and I think we will be switching to Zoup!, which just opened up at Park City. We arrived and found out there were no blue cheese crumbles (over half their salads contain blue cheese - I think if I were the manager I would have headed over to Giant just to tide things over until the shipment arrived) and my husband's panini was barely toasted, the cheese was not melted and the turkey was still cold! We also have one of their "frequent flier" swipe cards that NEVER swipes and so they always have to enter the number in...didn't happen this time - the cashier swiped it and I just checked, we didn't receive any points for this transaction. In addition, we have a three year old and I think it is great they have a kid's meal now - however you only get to pick three toppings (and that's a $6 meal). Anywho...we may try it again because it is pretty close, but chances are we will just go somewhere else. read more
