The service was phenomenal!! Adeline was super friendly and prompt! Such a great little gem! All the times we have traveled here and never tried it before! I had the chicken enchiladas--so yummy We also had the sausage gravy toast which was very good too! Our son had the Chicken and Waffles which he really enjoyed and finally the husband had the 2 pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The pancakes were delish

Very cool Breakfast & Lunch spot in a tastefully remolded old house. Was greeted immediately upon entering. Atmosphere was easy and light. Great seasonl menu items along with traditional favorites. Did not wait long at all for order to be taken. Ordered the Fall root hash with a side of scrapple. It came out quickly, hot, and very tasty. Waitress was timely with taking the order and keeping the drinks refilled. A true A+ establishment. Will definitely come back.

We stopped in for breakfast since we saw new items on their menu. We had the Bolgoggi omelette and the Mushu pork omelette. They both had great flavor and seasonings. The service is very friendly and quick. We don't mind a wait for fresh hot food. The ambiance is nice and bright. We'll be definitely be back.

Deliciously Simple When you step into Jake's On Main, you're immediately hit by just how simple it looks. The ambience is rustic, and its set up isn't too far off from that of a café. After a short wait, you're guided to a simple table with a simple menu and a simple experience. What follows is far from Simple. The food is incredible. Absolutely divine. The flavors they have mixed into a simple omelette with corn come in waves that you taste and feel. The cavalcade of tastes arrive like a merry-go-round, hitting you again and again and again with pure bliss. It is seemingly impossible not to want another bite of anything on your plate. Not a fan of scrapple? This place challenges that opinion, leveling it to a gross misunderstanding of the dish itself. Is the scrapple good? No. It's the best--the best scrapple I've tasted in all my years of eating scrapple. The community already knows what a gem this place is. If you weren't aware before, you are now. Get your ass over to Jake's before the line goes out the door!

Run, do not walk to Jakes while they have the street corn omelette! It's only on the menu as long as fresh corn is in season. Besides that, Jake's has become our local favorite with the homey feel, great coffee, purified water and excellent food. My only wish was if they could offer gluten free bread/rolls so I could indulge. Inside is super tiny with just about 20 tables so on the weekends, get there early or prepare to wait. Yum!

There were a few soups available but none really enticed me. Mom went for the soup and half sandwich meal. She chose the pepperjack tomato soup and a half Reuben. She really didn't care for the soup and the Reuben she deemed just "okay". I opted for the ruffle salad and added chicken salad. The salad was large and had a wide variety of typical salad accouterments while the chicken salad was full of cranberries and crunch. Really, it was nothing special, but with the thick housemade ranch dressing, it still was good. It was also large - I brought half of it home. Isaac's was a good change of pace for us. Next time I think I'll try one of their sandwiches. I'm pretty sure mom will skip the soup.

They have a nice selection of options in the display counter including paninis, pepperoni rolls, and different pizzas. I chose to go with the Build Your Own Cheesesteak. I ordered steak, provolone, sauce, fried onions, mushrooms and hot peppers. The steak lacked seasoning so I added salt and pepper on my own. I must admit the roll was stuffed and often little bits of the filling would fall into my plate while eating. The roll held together despite me believing it wouldn't. The young men behind the counter were helpful with making my selection and were patient with me while I asked questions and pricing for items on the counter. My food was prepared quickly and served at my table in less than 10 minutes. Overall, I might stop in again if I'm in the area. The experience was decent but didn't stand out.

What I didn't foresee was that the ramp didn't lead directly to the restaurant. We went from the ramp into something like a storage closet. The turn from the ramp to the room was so tight that I basically had to do a three point turn to get her through the door. Then we had to get through a glass door, walk down a hall and THEN through to door to the restaurant. I seriously needed a rest after that trek. If my mom had been using her walker, she would not have made it into the restaurant. Once through the door though, we were cheerily greeted and seated. We had our drinks within a few minutes and a few minutes after that, we were ready to order. My mom ordered the fish sandwich and I got the Miss Calee burger. That was two mistakes in a row. The fish was overdone and a little hard. It was supposed to come with tartar sauce but it didn't. I would have asked for some but my mom didn't tell me until later. I don't think she ate half of her sandwich. My burger was definitely not much better. The patty was dried out and a hard. The dressing almost non existing - I did ask for more which helped a little but couldn't save the sandwich. I'm grew up in Pittsburgh and have lived in Alabama for 25 years. I am no stranger to slaw on my sandwiches. This slaw just didn't cut it - not even close. We both upgraded and had fries instead of chips. The fries saved the meal from being a complete disaster. I think the most telling sign about the food is that we left over half our meal and didn't bring the leftovers home for my dad. He will eat ANYTHING but in this case, it wasn't worth wasting a to-go box. Back to the handicapped accessibility - I took my mom to the restroom. It was barely large enough to get in chair in and there was absolutely no way possible to maneuver it in there. I keep calling her chair a "wheel" chair - it is actually a transport chair. It's much smaller than a traditional wheelchair. A regular wheelchair would have had problems getting around. Two positives, the prices were quite reasonable and I don't think there was a single employee without a smile. I wouldn't mind coming back one morning to try breakfast but I definitely won't be bringing mom.

We came across blue-collar restaurant, but when we pulled in, I was surprised to see it was located inside a golf country club. I almost turned around, but my daughter encouraged us to give it a try--and I'm so glad we did. The restaurant was beautiful inside, with a peaceful view overlooking the golf course that made for a really relaxing lunch. The food was excellent. I ordered the salmon with vegetable risotto special, and it was absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. What really stood out, though, was the service. My daughter is nursing, and my granddaughter has soy and dairy allergies, so we had to be very careful with her meal. Our waiter, Matt, was outstanding. He went above and beyond, checking with the kitchen multiple times to make sure everything was completely free of soy and dairy. He helped put together a custom salad bowl for her, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, we had such a lovely experience--from the food to the atmosphere to the attentive service. I had the Thai steak tips salad (which I all but licked the plate after, and that rarely happens). And then we split the Spicy Tuna Sushi Tots, which are probably my new favorite thing. Our daughter also had the cheeseburger and fries from the kid's menu. The burger was juicy and well seasoned for an $8.00 kids meal. Our only real draw back was that the restaurant was pretty dead and the food took about 40 minutes to come out. Even with the amount of time to get our food, we would be willing to go back because our meals were very good. The presentation and flavor combos really make Blue Collar stand out.

Lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and an assortment of other items. They also offer dispensers of ketchup, mustard, bbq sauce and mayonnaise. There is a small try of additional sauces such as A1 and malt vinegar. I personally added lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, A1 and I had bacon. The 1LB is actually two large patties on one bun. The burger was extremely dry to me with no seasoning or taste. I could barely taste the condiments. I honestly don't see the hype. The fries are endless and you can definitely get a second and third helping. Wonderfully seasoned and piping hot. The drinks are self serve with multiple options. Overall it's not awful. There are a few wins. I'd never get the 1LB burger and would probably go with a smaller one hoping for juicer meat.
