The Colebrook Tavern is an off-the-beaten-path option in Lebanon County. Located next to a stream and very close to the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail, the restaurant has a large deck for relaxing dining as well as a screened in porch area and indoor dining. The menu is diverse and offers flatbread pizzas, sandwiches, and other pub fare. The food is tasty and atmosphere lovlovely. Service is occasionally patchy-- we have had to wait long times occasionally for drinks or food-- and the restaurant can be extremely busy, especially on Saturday nights and around the holidays.

We went to the CT for lunch last Thursday. Parking tip. Park towards the back area of the parking lot since you have to enter the restaurant off of the back deck area ( through the tent door). Only way to get into the establishment. We started with the Stoners Dip. Creamy sausage and cheese queso with corn chips. The dip was delicious. I had the Chicken BBQ sandwich with fries. I asked for the bacon to be extra crispy and they were able to make this happen. The sandwich and fries were delicious. Some of the best French fries in Lebanon county. Please do try to argue with me on the fries. My wife had the beef tacos and the ground beef was lacking seasoning. There was no seasoning in the fried meat. She state the street corn was some of the best she ever tasted. The service was good and the lunch atmosphere was quite from a noise level. The inside of the restaurant was nicely remodeled but the place is on the smaller side. There bar filled up pretty fast over the lunch hour. If you are heading to Colebook, stop in for a delicious meal.

First visit since they remodeled and we had a great time. The updated decor is well balanced between warm woods and plenty of natural sunlight. Bartenders were very engaging and appear genuinely happy to be there doing their stuff. Cheesesteaks have a unique combination compared to most places and were excellent with a nice wood-fired finish. A glass of Eagle Rare finished off a great first visit. A very fine selection of hard-to-find bourbons, including Eagle Rare topped of our meal of what was our first of many visits.

My first visit to Colebrook Tavern was a quick drop-in with family, and based on that, I'd certainly return. Three of us stopped in for a mid-afternoon snack and drinks. The facility is nice with three distinct areas: the indoor dining room, the screened-in porch, and the outdoor patio. We sat in the screened-in porch area and enjoyed the natural light with good air circulation and limited flies. We opted for beer and nachos, both of which were delivered really quickly. The nachos were a generous portion with a fair amount of toppings (although I'm the kind who'd always ask for more cheese). An extra side of pico de gallo was the right choice for some of the barer chips. The seasoning on the chips was lovely, as was the creama they used. I'd definitely return and try an entree or other apps in the future.

Great vibe and friendly staff. Tried it here for the first time, grabbed some snacks and drinks at the bar and had a great time. We will definitely be back for dinner. Highly suggest the hand cut fries! Came back for a second time: Nachos were tasty but pricey at $24 Sandwiches & burgers were delicious. Service excellent

My husband and I visited here last night for dinner and drinks and CANNOT wait to go back. It was our first time in and right off the bat we were sooo pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was so welcoming, intimate and cozy. The tv's at the bar were a plus for my husband too. Every single staff member went above and beyond. The food was something to rave about for sure too! My husband tried the house made BBQ sauced wings and they were hands down the best we've had in a long time. I tried the Turkey Orchard sandwich and that did not disappoint either!

Holy gee-whiz! It's been nearly two years since I went to The Spot and I was happy to get back. I…read morevisited The Spot twice this week and enjoyed a club sandwich both days -- they are so huge and packed with delicious cheese and meat and has thick, lean, crunchy bacon on it. I joked with Jenni that it's a 20-minute sandwich because that's how long it takes to eat. I brought a coworker yesterday and she had a reuben sandwich which she said was outstanding. She tried the chicken and rice soup and said it was wonderful so I tried that today and agree that it was totally worth the $3.99 -- hot, rich, full of chicken and packed with flavor. Today I took another coworker and she loved her sandwich and raved about her tomato bisque soup. Something happened at The Spot that I've never seen before and we were impressed. There were two other customers talking to each other while we were eating. One of them was a (very) loud talker and the owner quietly and discretely went up to her and said he could hear her across the dining room and reminded her other people (us) were eating and would she please lower her voice. He did this with sensitivity and respect but it worked and we were able to enjoy the remainder of our meals in peace. When the loud talker left, we thanked the owner and told him we had never seen anyone do such a thing before. That was just awesome! The sandwiches and soup are so amazing and it's wonderful to support a small, local business. I suspect I'll be back in the area in the next few months and you can believe I will be back and bringing another coworker along.

This is a little shop that packs a big punch--of flavor!…read more Although small, when we visited last week, we learned we had just missed a lunch rush that had every seat taken at the 8 or so tables in the shop. The owner waited on us and was very helpful. She suggested the #1, which is an Italian hoagie, or their popular roast beef or turkey bacon options. We went with the Italian hoagie on seeded bread. The sandwich was huge, stuffed with Dietz & Watson lunch meats, plenty of lettuce, tomato, and thinly sliced white onions. We added pickles and some of their hoagie dressing (which is oil and vinegar). The flavor balance was on point and the sandwich was delicious and satisfying. One hoagie was big enough to share. Some might be shocked by the sticker price; our hoagie rang up at $13. However, with the size of the sub plus the quality of the meats, I think this is reasonable from a small business. Our first visit left us impressed and excited to return and try another hoagie.

Stopped by for lunch during the week. Inside is small but can accommodate seating for groups of 4…read moreor less. Maybe seating for about 16 guests total. I was expecting a great hoagie based on other reviews left but it was just OK. I'm aware fries are deep fried, but these were too greasy. A little pricey. Over $10 for a 6" cold sub. If Rising Sun Bar and Grill is packed and you don't want to wait for seating, this is an alternative. Wasn't as good as I was expecting it to be. Keep on driving.
