Colebrook Tavern has delicious food. I've had the Cuban and the Shepard's Pie. This place truly is a great value for money and has a very cozy atmosphere, since it was remodeled in 2023. The bar has these cute little purse hooks on it. It is not uncommon for there to be live music on the weekends on the deck and cornhole in the outdoor area. Friendly staff, quick service, parking can get a little wild read more

The staff usually provides great service and the manager is very kind to patrons. We have dined here many times since the new ownership with varied parties and varied results. We have not gone wrong with any of the appetizers. The French dip is a hit. The tavern sandwiches seem to go over well with our patrons. We like the hand cut fires, sweet potato fries, mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts as sides. Our diners do not recommend the smash burgers. But these diners usually like rarer meats. We have yet to try the pear and beat salad but plan on it in the future. The expanded place has a warm bar feel and can accommodate larger parties. The patio is nice in the Summer and the creek makes a peaceful setting. You can catch sports on the larger TVs while dining inside. And the bar is typically full when we have been there. read more

5/4/26 - 1st time visit. Lovely outdoor seating on the deck creekside; beautiful views. Friendly staff. Food servings were quite large & good value. I had delish cocktail (Fuzzy Nut: Amaretto, Peach Schnapps, lemon simple syrup)! My sis had mahi tacos w/street corn; fish cooked just right & flavorful. Bro had corn & crab chowder, quite tasty w/wonderful coconut shrimp app & side salad. I had what was supposed to be blackened jerk shrimp tacos; however, shrimp were small & had no noticeable jerk seasoning; also way too much feta & lime crema; side of street corn was good; side of fresh cut fries generous serving, but limp & greasy, not crisp. Overall, lots of positives for group--location & historic tavern setting a great find. Cornhole & fire pits available just off deck area. Would definitely return! read more

Decided to step outside of my normal dinner comfort zone and tried the lobster pot pie. This dish was absolutely fantastic. The flavor, seasonings, even the sheer color of the dish was wonderful. Large chunks of lobster were evident and the pastry on top, well I could have had two of those! It was a wonderful filling dish paired well with the house side salad. Well done! read more

This place is solid! Stopped for lunch with my wife and kids. Large variety of seating options... bar area, dining room, outside deck. All very welcoming and comfortable. Service was expedient and attentive. I got the Korean chicken sando. 10/10. My wife had the French Dip 8/10. Needed more salt, but loaded with meat! Daughter 1 had the cheesesteak (opted for America cheese over the standard provy), 10/10. Amazing flavor! My other daughter ordered from kids menu. 10/10. They offer fries with all sandwiches. Crinkle cut, waffle cut, sweet potato. We went with the sweet potato fries and would highly recommend! Perfectly seasoned! Stop in for a sip and bite. You won't be sorry, unless you're a grumpy 85 year old who still thinks it's 1988. (Sorry, grumpy old people! Just enjoy life, you don't have much of it left) read more

They don't serve gluten free or dairy free options or substitutions. Not good for people who have severe allergies. If you are a normal person who isn't allergic to anything then go for it but they pretty much kicked us out because there wasn't any food we couldn't eat. Pretty place though. Horrible customer service. read more

Second time here...hope for many more. Great service! A bit noisy inside but outside we sat at a corner table overlooking the Conestoga Creek. It was a beautiful evening, the tables and chairs look new, everything was beautiful inside and out. Servers were all smiles and nicely dressed....hubby had coconut shrimp and a corn and crab chowder off of the appetizer menu. I had the pear and beet salad. Everything was delicious and prepared beautifully!!! Cannot wait to return. Dine local...you will be pleased! read more

Delicious menu (especially smash burgers)! Great drinks! Lovely deck & nice grassy area by the creek. A real gem.

Great vibe -- it was a little cold in the bar area. Food was hit or miss: tacos excellent; burgers ok; We would try it again for the tacos close by. read more

Food was delicious! The best smash burger I've ever had! 10 min wait. Fast and friendly service. Sports bar atmosphere with a dinning room. The blueberry lemon cake was to die for. read more

Nick was a phenomenal server, great service!!! George made our food and was hands down the best food I ever had!!!

We found out about this place last fall and have been there 3-4 times since then. As a central PA native, I'm not into a lot of weird ingredients, especially on relatively "normal" menu items. The menu is superb - I have no problem finding things I would love. The first time there I had the gumbo and while it was a bit too spicy for me it was delicious. I've had two different styles of their smash-burgers recently and both were delicious. Between the burgers and their buns, they are by far the best burgers in the area. And the fries - OMG - perfect home cut fries every time. Don't forget the Stoner Dip as an app, and the surprise for a tavern kinda in the middle of nowhere ... Creme Brulee for dessert - WOW! read more

We went to the CT for lunch last Thursday. Parking tip. Park towards the back area of the parking lot since you have to enter the restaurant off of the back deck area ( through the tent door). Only way to get into the establishment. We started with the Stoners Dip. Creamy sausage and cheese queso with corn chips. The dip was delicious. I had the Chicken BBQ sandwich with fries. I asked for the bacon to be extra crispy and they were able to make this happen. The sandwich and fries were delicious. Some of the best French fries in Lebanon county. Please do try to argue with me on the fries. My wife had the beef tacos and the ground beef was lacking seasoning. There was no seasoning in the fried meat. She state the street corn was some of the best she ever tasted. The service was good and the lunch atmosphere was quite from a noise level. The inside of the restaurant was nicely remodeled but the place is on the smaller side. There bar filled up pretty fast over the lunch hour. If you are heading to Colebook, stop in for a delicious meal. read more

The Colebrook Tavern is an off-the-beaten-path option in Lebanon County. Located next to a stream and very close to the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail, the restaurant has a large deck for relaxing dining as well as a screened in porch area and indoor dining. The menu is diverse and offers flatbread pizzas, sandwiches, and other pub fare. The food is tasty and atmosphere lovlovely. Service is occasionally patchy-- we have had to wait long times occasionally for drinks or food-- and the restaurant can be extremely busy, especially on Saturday nights and around the holidays. read more

First visit since they remodeled and we had a great time. The updated decor is well balanced between warm woods and plenty of natural sunlight. Bartenders were very engaging and appear genuinely happy to be there doing their stuff. Cheesesteaks have a unique combination compared to most places and were excellent with a nice wood-fired finish. A glass of Eagle Rare finished off a great first visit. A very fine selection of hard-to-find bourbons, including Eagle Rare topped of our meal of what was our first of many visits. read more

Atmosphere was great! Food was excellent and entertainment was awesome! Will definitely come back.

Atmosphere and food are great. Plenty of parking. Happy hour specials Outdoor seating in a perfect setting.

Great everything very nice place to just kick back, have a drink and relax. Nice that it's really close to me as well!

I wanted to write this after coming back for a second round. The first night we ate here, it was almost magical. The food, the tunes, the people, and the whole atmosphere was something out of a first date scene in a rom com. The cheesesteak is good. Get it. The chicken bacon ranch grinder is sub par. I would advise the chef to add some flavor to the chicken. Like anything. Garlic powder bro. The service was alright. The girl that tended to us was busy so it was understandable that she didn't stop by as often. I only got one beer while there but could have had two if asked sooner than the end of the meal. All in all I will be back to try other things though. The atmosphere is very chill and great for a date night although it can be a little loud. read more

Food was very good. Only thing was it was a busy night and the noise level was extreme!

My first visit to Colebrook Tavern was a quick drop-in with family, and based on that, I'd certainly return. Three of us stopped in for a mid-afternoon snack and drinks. The facility is nice with three distinct areas: the indoor dining room, the screened-in porch, and the outdoor patio. We sat in the screened-in porch area and enjoyed the natural light with good air circulation and limited flies. We opted for beer and nachos, both of which were delivered really quickly. The nachos were a generous portion with a fair amount of toppings (although I'm the kind who'd always ask for more cheese). An extra side of pico de gallo was the right choice for some of the barer chips. The seasoning on the chips was lovely, as was the creama they used. I'd definitely return and try an entree or other apps in the future. read more

Most of the time it is great. I can forgive a time or two when service is slow due to it being busy

Food, beer, service was fantastic. Got to sit outside with views of creek beside the porch. Great place, peaceful setting, will definitely be back. read more

My daughter and son in law took us here to celebrate her Dad's birthday. It is such a charming place. Many options in seating. We chose the enclosed patio. You can sit outside on the deck, which would be nice on a cooler summer night. It's a very well kept restaurant. We all ordered chicken sandwiches and my husband got his burger. All good. The French fries were delicious. Our waitress was great also! read more

Really great atmosphere, quick service no matter how busy, great food - best Hamburgers, cheeseburgers and fries I have had in the area. Prices might be high, but you have to figure on paying for quality food, would recommend to anyone living in the area or passing through on their way to Lancaster, Harrisburg or Hershey areas. read more

Great vibe and friendly staff. Tried it here for the first time, grabbed some snacks and drinks at the bar and had a great time. We will definitely be back for dinner. Highly suggest the hand cut fries! Came back for a second time: Nachos were tasty but pricey at $24 Sandwiches & burgers were delicious. Service excellent read more

My husband and I visited here last night for dinner and drinks and CANNOT wait to go back. It was our first time in and right off the bat we were sooo pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was so welcoming, intimate and cozy. The tv's at the bar were a plus for my husband too. Every single staff member went above and beyond. The food was something to rave about for sure too! My husband tried the house made BBQ sauced wings and they were hands down the best we've had in a long time. I tried the Turkey Orchard sandwich and that did not disappoint either! read more

First time here! Great looking place, friendly staff, pleasant servers. I had the Nashville Hot chicken, with house made hot sauce, and it was very tasty, with one exception. It was served on a bed of Asian slaw, which was a little bit sweet. It might be better on traditional Cole slaw. My wife ordered a chicken dish, which was stone cold! Our waitress was very responsive and brought a new, very hot dish. All in all, it wasn't terrible, and we'll probably go back again! read more

Excelent service, great people. My only issue is that the wings are on the small side. The tacos were delicious, but it was way too much red cabbage. When it mixed with the lime creama , it was not appealing. read more

Nice local tavern. Had a turkey rap. Will be back. Would be great summer location with an outdoor area.

Excellent atmosphere...food and service ROCKS!!! Beautiful restaurant and outdoor patio is amazing.

Well I gotta say this place had a complete makeover! A lot more parking (which was almost full when we got there) the deck looks amazing can't wait until nice weather hits. We were a little worried with how busy it was and getting seats and good service with how busy it was but They knocked it out of the park. Didn't have to wait for bar seats and had drinks right away food was fast as well. Had a smash burger which was really good. Ladies please note there is a red button beside the toilet in the ladies room that you are supposed to push before you poo I was afraid to push it, but if someone knows what happens let me know will definitely become one of our regular spots. The staff was amazing! read more

Don't eat here! l will never give this establishment my business again. I asked for no sour cream on my taco. The cook refused to omit it from my taco. There was nothing on the special menu indicating you had to get exactly what the menu listed. It only said no substitutions. The cook wouldn't even put it on the side. I told the bartender that if I couldn't get my tacos without sour cream then forget it. Guess what? The cook refused to make them. The bartender tried to explain it off by stating on taco nights they make so many that special orders are to hard and confusing. There were only four people in the restaurant at the time, this including us. In addition, my friend asked if it was possible to get a grilled cheese sandwich to eat with her chili. The cook said yes but would charge my friend $17, the cost of a classic hamburger. Unbelievable!! The cook should be fired. I couldn't get my tacos without sour cream!! The waitress then reprimanded me for calling the cook an A-hole. Don't expect customer service if you choose to eat here. read more
