It had been a minute since I had been home and quite a few businesses have changed. This place has been so many different restaurants over my life, but on a recent visit I was glad to see one with many positive reviews had gone in. On a long walk of town on one day of my trip, it worked out that this one was open for lunch and I got to try it. It ended up being a favorite of my visit and I ended up eating here twice. The first time for lunch I stuck to the specials menu and had the chimichanga. It's served with rice and beans, plus fresh veggies and salsas. All salsas and sauces are made homemade and fresh, which is a huge draw of this place. Portion sizes are generous for the price, and flavor was great. Their hot sauces are also homemade: a mild red one and a hot creamy green one. Try both for sure! On the second visit, I had a burrito. I also dined with a friend who was impressed as well. They also have a menu of non-Mexican inspired dishes, so there's something for everyone here. The interior is open and bright, with booths and tables. Both times the server was super friendly and welcoming, very attentive through the visits. Parking is out back. read more

I was in Palmyra for a women's meeting and had to look for vegan food options nearby. Well I was very pleased with the food at Miaa Mexican Bistro. I ordered by phone for take out the bistro salad and a side of black beans after confirming with the staff that they were vegan. My only small recommendation is for the time estimate to be better. I was told it would only take 10 minutes to prepare. So I ordered my food then drove to the restaurant. Overall it took about 25 minutes for my food to be ready and handed to me. The staff were nice. The environment seemed nice although I didn't eat in. And there was parking in the rear. I am glad Miaa was there for my visit to Palmyra. read more

Excellent dinner. I had the beef chimichanga which was excellent. Had some serious entry envy over my wifes dish, molcejete, it was delicious, served in a cast iron pot, shrimp chicken, churrizo, yummys. Great dinner for the whole flamily. read more

I'm visiting from out of town and thought I'd try this local family owned business. I'm glad I did! I had the molcajete, and despite its giant portion i STUFFED myself! I could not stop! Definitely coming back for breakfast. I saw they had mexican chorizo and I suspect it's just as good as their dinner. The service was incredible! My server named Andrea was extremely attentive and her recommendations were phenomenal. This place has a whole lot of heart. and HEAT! the salsa verde is to DIE for. I bought a bottle to go! My wife and I walked in, around 7PM, on a Thursday, came in the side door. The waitress or bus girl noticed us and told us to sit anywhere, which we did. They were a little busy, 8-10 patrons. We sat down and the server and the other girl walked by us a few times. The one (bus-girl) even cleaned a table across from our booth. Nothing was ever communicated to us, like "We'll be with you shortly", nothing. We sat there for 7-10 minutes, then left. We went down the street to Babes Grill House and had a lovely meal. My point is when you have a customer come into your establishment, take a few seconds to say we'll be with you shortly, hand them a menu/glass of water - at least you know they'll get to you when they can. Visited Palmyra recently to visit my Dad and got the urge for Mexican food. Popped into this spot hoping for the best and prepared for less than stellar - being from Texas originally and now living in Los Angeles. Between Tex-Mex and Mexican food in and around SoCal - odds were 50/50. This place was fantastic ! Great menu options that covered all the bases. Fresh ingredients that were tasty and not overwhelming. Salsa was terrific. The gal that opened this place up really knocked it outta the park. And our waitress was great (don't recall her name but she'll know who she is when she reads this). If you're in Palmyra or pass through and Taco Bell isn't quite what you have in mind - check this place out. read more

We Had a Bistro salad with roasted veggies that was wonderfully fresh! The fish tacos were crisp and hot, made to order and and the homemade tres leches was moist but not soggy...a perfect finish! The servers were friendly and knowledgeable and the place is clean and cheery and thankfully the color scheme is more in the style of the Riviera instead of the typical toreador themes. Great breakfast and clean facility. Hostess was warm and welcoming. Breakfast foods were prepared and cooked well. We got the veg hash and veg omelettes and sides of bacon. The vegetables were all cut well and cooked very well, fresh tasting, retained their flavor after cooking and not overcooked. The bacon was cooked well with a good crisp. We just moved in next door and finally got to check the place out!! Friends brought me the tres leches last week which was amazing. Today my family and I tried chicken enchiladas and chicken smothered burritos. Both were amazing. We also got the queso con chorizo, bistro nachos, and southwest salad. They were so so good! Best Mexican food. The best in my opinion was the tres leches iced latte! Oh my god I wish I could get it every morning before work! Absolutely amazing place. The food was delicious. The best Mexican food I've had in a long time. They bring out chips and salsa, and the guacamole appetizer was fantastic. However, the reason I only gave 3/5 stars is because of the service. I came to the restaurant with two gentlemen, and I specifically specified separate checks on multiple instances. When the checks arrived they had added the appetizer I ordered to one check and my food to another check, giving us a total of 2 checks for 3 people which they handed to the gentlemen. As a strong independent female, I found this upsetting. read more
