Chicken Cheesesteak
Austin C.

Just tried Riverside out for the first time today after seeing them on social media several times in the past. I can confidently say I was not disappointed, the subs were incredible! Plenty of different styles and variety of subs on the menu that sound delicious and worth a try. Gave the Fried Pickle Cheeseburger Sub a try and everything on it was immaculate. The meat, toppings, and sauces were all tasteful and plentiful throughout the sub. My wife got a chicken cheesesteak with just cheese and mayo which was filled with chicken. Will definitely make numerous return visits back to Riverside to try out more of their vast menu!

This place is awesome! I am very picky about my subs but I have yet to have an issues with anything from here! I recommend everyone to try this place out. The sitting area is very welcoming and the service is amazing! Everyone is so kind!

Grilled chicken salad

New sub shop in Wrightsville and today was their soft opening. Wasn't able to try a sub as they ran out of rolls but as we were driving there they updated their Facebook page to say the same - so kudos for the updated communication. Ordered a grilled chicken salad and it was very good! I liked how the chicken was chopped and all the lettuce was fresh and in bite size pieces - no knife needed to eat the salad. There was real bacon crumbled on top, and also Kalamata olives which I really like. The provolone cheese they use is very flavorful and the tomatoes were fully ripe and red. The salads are served with packets of Ken's Salad Dressing. Inviting atmosphere with friendly service. The interior of the shop was cheerful and clean. I will return to try a sub and I also saw they have paninis and Italian dinners - a lot more on the menu than just subs.

Great chopped cheese steak subs. Large enough we could share. Street parking only, right along Rt 462 in town.

John Wright Restaurant sits in Wrightsville, on the Susquehanna River between York and Lancaster,…read morein a brick warehouse that R.P. Wilton built in 1916. The building later housed a silk mill and then manufacturing for John Wright consumer products, and the John Wright Store opened an outlet there in 1974. The restaurant itself started in 1988 as a sandwich shop where shoppers could enjoy the river view, and it has grown into a full destination. It's owned by Author Mann Sr., Bess Mann, Julie McNamara, and Chef Jim Switzenberg. Over the years the restaurant has added a timbered four-season room, patio dining, an outdoor bar with a wood-fired pizza oven, and a River Room banquet space on the second floor of the warehouse. There's also a Sunday prime rib brunch buffet and the Real Food Emporium, a store with local ingredients and take-home family-style meals that highlights Pennsylvania farmers, producers, and makers. The venue has also been a WeddingWire Couples' Choice Award winner in 2017, 2018, and 2019. I had the pizza on the seasonal Pizza Patio, which is a great place to spend a summer evening, and the pretzel trout. Both were excellent, and the patio setting made the meal even better. The exposed brick, big windows, and views of the river give the whole place real character. Between the history of the building, the farm-focused approach to the menu, and the scenery, John Wright Restaurant is one of the best dining stops in the area, well worth the drive from York or Lancaster.

After a quick approval from him, we headed to Wrightsville for a visit to Wild Batch. Neat repurposed building just off 462 at the top of the hill...most likely an old bank. Wonderful assortment of baked goods- and by the looks of the glass display cases, this place gets hit pretty hard! 10 or so tables inside, a sofa, and a comfortable, not-hurried atmosphere. Several regulars walked in and chatted, which is a great sign. I ordered a breakfast crepe and coffee, son ordered a lunch sandwich bagel, and we split a cinnamon sugar danish- which was fantastic! The crepe- if you are a crepe connoisseur- was of the pancake-ish variety. Like a big flapjack, with egg, sausage, gouda, and avacado. Good! But as I eat more crepes, little did I know of the variety of crepes. Now you know. Son's bagel sandwich was solid, coffee was strong, and the danish- made up of twisted strands in a coil- was yes, fantastic! Looks like awesome stuff comes out of this little bakery. Presentation, plus taste. Wrightsville, I hope you support this little gem!

We kept hearing about this place and everyone said their drinks are amazing!…read more Honestly...who would've thought Columbia would have a hidden gem like this! Homegoodies is serving up great coffee and the sandwiches looked AMAZING (next time). The staff was ON IT! It was packed in here and it still only took about 5-10 minutes to get our drinks. We got the Boo Berry (Blueberry Vanilla Latte) and the frozen Hot Chocolate (made with marshmallow and chocolate syrup siding). Both delicious! This place is deceptive. Looks small, but tons of additional seating in the back. Word on the street is they are putting hashbrowns on their breakfast sandwich, we will review that next time! If your passing through Columbia, check it out!

It was a 9 minute walk there. We took a chance and boy are we glad we did. Cutest little spot. Good music invited us in. Lots of different breakfast and lunch items. There was a wall filled with different coffee/tea/chai selections. There was also 2 boards at the register with specials. I choice zombie latte and lil fella burger and fries. The meal was excellent. Just enough. Food came out hot, fresh, and both the burger and fries were seasoned to perfection. The drink was delicious. Definitely want to try there again. Note: public clean restrooms.
