Unfortunately, the quality of the cheesesteaks declined over time, but I was excited when they opened a new fish location here in Harrisburg. Until recently, I really enjoyed this spot because the quality and ingredients were consistently excellent.My latest experience, however, was highly disappointing. I placed an online order and received a text notification stating it was ready for pickup. When I arrived, the food was not ready. I stood waiting for nearly 15 minutes, ringing the counter bell, but the staff ignored it. When someone finally appeared, I told them I was picking up an order. I was told it would be just a few more minutes because they were "waiting on the fries."After waiting another 7 minutes, I asked for an update. The employee immediately walked to the back counter and handed me a box that was already wrapped and sitting there. I hadn't heard anyone packaging food the entire time I stood there. When I got to my car and opened the container, the fries and the rest of the meal were completely wet and soggy from trapped condensation. It was obvious the food had been sitting out for at least 15 minutes while I was told it was still being cooked. I will not be returning to this restaurant. One look and it immediately earned a spot on my "we're going here soon whether the universe likes it or not" list. Friday Night Date Night doesn't usually send me into the city. After a long week of people-ing, I typically lean toward easier parking and fewer humans. But this Friday? I was willing to tolerate civilization just a little longer for seafood that looked that good. We rolled in around 5pm and somehow scored a street parking spot just a few doors down -- AND it was free after 5pm. At that point I assumed the night was blessed. Walking inside was...an experience. The space was pretty dark, with most of the lighting focused near the kiosk ordering stations at the back. A few empty tables, music playing overhead, and honestly -- it felt a little chilly inside for a February evening. But we didn't come for ambiance. We came for garlic butter seafood chaos, and we were committed. Ordering is done through self-service kiosks. We selected dine-in and ordered the garlic butter crab and shrimp fries ($13.99), the crab cake, shrimp, and cheesy grits ($27.49), and two Diet Pepsis ($1.25 each). Total came to about $55 with tip -- very reasonable considering what we were about to experience. While we waited, a few people came in for pickups and one very busy staff member (hoodie included) was hustling back and forth like a one-person operation keeping everything moving. A little while later, our food arrived -- already packed in to-go containers, which honestly felt like a thoughtful move because leftovers were inevitable. And then we opened the containers. And then...we fell in love. Garlic Butter Crab AND Shrimp Fries: Absolute insanity in the best possible way. Piled high with shrimp and crab -- and I mean no skimping whatsoever. Garlic butter sauce everywhere, perfectly crispy seasoned fries underneath, and rich, savory flavor that made it impossible to slow down. This is the kind of dish you think about later while staring into the void. Crab Cake, Shrimp, and Cheesy Grits: I am not a grits person...or at least I wasn't before this moment. These creamy Gouda cheesy grits have officially converted me. Smooth, savory, and ridiculously good. The crab cake was golden perfection with minimal filler, the shrimp were huge and perfectly seasoned, and the Cajun cream sauce tied everything together into what might be one of the best dishes I've had in months. Possibly longer. I'm still thinking about it. We ate until logic intervened and still left with about a third of the food for round two -- which I'm already excited about. Hookers might be easy to overlook if you're just passing by, but do yourself a favor and make it a destination. If you love seafood, this is easily one of the most underrated spots around. Big flavor, generous portions, fair pricing -- no over-the-top "trying too hard" seafood theatrics required. I showed up curious, left full, and now find myself emotionally attached to cheesy grits. The sauce on the stew was perfectly seasoned as well - with a hint of cardamom and perhaps cinnamon? It was a perfect blend of savory with hint of sweetness to compliment the chicken, chicken sausage, beef tips, vegetables, and more that made up the stew. The sauce was worthy of a spoon to ensure every morsel was consumed - with bread to wipe the bowl clean! The portion sizes are generous as well. The second entre was the Colosseum Tortellini Combo with chicken, chicken sausage, mushrooms, onions, peppers and cheese tortellini all tossed in a Asiago Alfredo Marinera sauce. A other enjoyable dish. While we did not have dessert, the selections looked equally scrumptious! We will try the pumpkin cheesecake when we return. This is a family run business. When I pointed out that I had been charged for the other wine at the Matthew pour , the bill still wasn't corrected. My burger was ordered medium but came out well done. I pointed it out, and nothing was done to remedy that either. To top it off, our food took an exceptionally long time to arrive. The explanation was that an unannounced party of 30 had shown up without reservations in the dining room. While that may have contributed to the delay, the tables around us in the bar area that ordered after us received their food first, so I'm not convinced the party fully explains what happened. I understand that mistakes happen. I've worked in the restaurant industry for a long time, and I don't expect perfection. What I do expect is for staff to take ownership of mistakes, communicate when something isn't available, and make a reasonable effort to correct problems. Blaming the bartender, substituting a different whiskey without asking, charging for the wrong wine and never getting me what I paid for, and doing nothing about an overcooked burger is not good customer service. Any one of these things might have been forgivable on its own. Together, they made for a frustrating and disappointing meal. New ownership always comes with an adjustment period, but after three visits with repeated issues, it's hard to view this as a one-time bad experience. THEA was probably the last place I expected to visit for a cheeseburger, given its upscale reputation, but that burger was calling my name! So I made a 5:15pm reservation for one and prepared to pop my fancy THEA cherry. I arrived to a nearly empty parking lot, snagged a spot right outside the door and settled in for dinner. Despite the upscale atmosphere, I felt perfectly comfortable in my jeans and leopard print sneakers. Some guests were dressed up, others were casual and nobody seemed to think twice about my solo dining adventure. I ordered a Diet Coke, the Bacon Brie Pear Burger and upgraded my side to the Crispy Brussels Sprouts for an additional charge. THEA's burger features Wagyu beef from Eleven Oaks Farm, roasted Bosc pears, Brie cheese, arugula, fig jam and a rustic roll. This burger absolutely screamed, "Fall is here!" The beef practically melted in my mouth, while the thinly sliced pears, creamy melted Brie and fig jam created this incredible combination of sweet, savory and cozy fall flavors. It was everything I love about a traditional burger, just dressed up for sweater weather! And the bun? Fantastic! I'm not usually a bun enthusiast, but this one was tall and fluffy with a slightly crusty exterior and wonderfully soft interior. The perfect complement to an already phenomenal burger. Hands down, one of the best burgers I've ever eaten! The Brussels sprouts were equally impressive! Crispy fried baby sprouts drizzled with a citrus honey chili glaze that was perfectly sweet and tangy without being spicy, then generously topped with big chunks of crumbled feta. Skipping the fries was an excellent decision! At one point, I caught myself sitting there in this beautiful, upscale restaurant, wearing my leopard print sneakers, eating a cheeseburger and doing my little happy food dance. Just me, in my own little world, enjoying one heck of a Friday Night Date Night. I could only finish half the burger and Brussels sprouts, so my fantastic waitress happily packaged everything up for me. She was friendly, attentive, chatty and clearly enjoying her work, which made the experience even better. At various times I have been able to find Harbour House on some of the delivery sites I subscribe to, but for me, buying a 1/2 bushel of steamed crabs to make a mess in my dining room is not an impulse purchase that I suddenly choose for dinner. Call ahead and find out what the prices are, and schedule your order. I like to get them steamed in house and take them home hot. (A Styrofoam cooler works well for this. Price varies by the size of the crab, and generally I go with large male (aka Jimmy) crabs. Don't forget the mallets!

They blamed UPS and offered a replacement under the "Shipping Protection" I'd paid extra for -- but flatly refused to refund the $64.81 overnight fee, even though the overnight service I paid for was never delivered. Their position is that shipping protection covers a reshipment and nothing else. The replacement was also delayed and wasn't going to arrive until after the freshness date, so I refused it and sent it back. Two shipments, zero crabs, and a company that treats a paid-for delivery date as something they owe you nothing on when it fails. I'm disputing the charge with my card issuer. If you're ordering perishables for a specific day, know that their remedy is another shipment on their schedule, not your money back.
