What an adorable breakfast spot. I would say 99.9% regulars, a much older crowd but hey we fit into that pool. Big portions, attentive wait staff and we took two doggie bags home because that's how much food you get served. We don't live in this area but we did notice all the cars out front, that's what made us decide to go. Their tomato juice was served in a big glass and was very tasty. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good breakfast. We wanted to go to Flo's which we've never been too but the location we wanted to go to was closed - not sure why.

This place is a must eat at!! Plenty of seating. You can even sit at the counter on stools and watch the food being cooked right in front of you. Food was amazing. Lots of food. Definitely will be happily full when done.

Overpriced greasy spoon at best. Service stunk and the food is basic. Your basic, outdated, hole in the wall

Scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage, bacon, home fries!

Racist restaurant. It's disgusting. Waitress with brunette and blonde highlights, with glasses was very unpleasant and just rude.

Off…read morethe get go, customer service was great and offered a coat check free of charge for my jacket and umbrella since it was raining, definitely helped make it feel just a touch more upscale than your usual restaurant. Our wait staff was nothing but kind and patient with our moderately large party and checked up on us without being overbearing. Ambiance is very cool, and definitely leans into its classic and nostalgic feel of its name, but not in a campy way. If you bring a date here, they would be impressed by the nice tile and wooden features alone, but it's the food that is really going to blow them away, but we will get to that next. The menu and cocktails do rotate seasonally a bit, so your experience may vary on availability for some items, but if you come back often enough (and spoiler, you will want to), you'll see them comeback! We started with Caesar salad, calamari, and Korean fried wings with the easy standout being the fried wings, a bit spicy but delicious but buyer beware they are messy (don't worry though, they give you moist towelettes to clean yourself off), calamari was cooked exactly how it needed to be and not rubbery, and the Caesar salad was as good as I've had it anywhere (although there's was made with tahini, giving it a little sesame flair). For mains, we had a pesto pasta, steak frites with an au poivre sauce, with sides of jersey asparagus and mashed potatoes. Steak was cooked just right and I'd dip almost anything in that sauce, and the pesto pasta was a nice lighter and herby balance to the meal. Fries were perfectly crisp shoestring style and the other end of the potato spectrum was the delightfully smooth mashed potatoes and gravy. Asparagus has always been my favorite green, and adding a cream sauce with bacon only makes this version of it that much more enticing. Capping off with dessert, we had the chocolate Basque cheesecake, a brown sugar pie, and a pistachio cake. Choosing a favorite out of these is like choosing a favorite child I'm sure, but I am still craving more of that cheesecake, RUN do not walk to get that at the very least. Parking can be crazy in patchogue, there is a small attached lot and some street parking, but I'd advise using one of the municipal lots nearby and walking a little bit for your own sanity. One of my favorite dining experiences in patchogue to date, and will be happy to comeback here to try more of the menu for any occasion!

I've come here a couple times, mostly for happy hour since they have great specials on drinks and food during that time (a Sunday happy hour?? sign me up)! There's a rotating list of cocktails as well as the staples. Last time I got a potato chip martini of sorts, because why not, and it was actually super tasty! Brunch is also a good time to come with a limited menu so you're not overwhelmed with a little of everything on it. I tried the salmon caesear salad which was light with a nice dressing. We also tried the pancakes which were fluffy and delicious, as well as the steak and eggs (can't go wrong). Bottomless mimosas are also offered for $25 additional. I can't wait to do lunch/dinner here in the future.

On top of that, my damn car decided to up and die, so I've been bleeding money on Ubers just to get to and from work. I even had to go into work on my day off just to sit around waiting for the tow truck so they could junk it. Love that for me. After I handled business with the junkers, I said eff it and headed to Whiskey Neat. I was starving--no breakfast, running on fumes--and since my job's in Patchogue, I figured I'd finally try them for lunch. First of all... happy hour on a Saturday from 12-6?! Uhhh hello?? In my Angelina from Jersey Shore voice. And if you pay cash, you get the discount. Say less. They've got a fabulous small plates menu. I started with the French onion soup--ooey gooey mozzarella, cheese pull was undefeated. Soup was delicious too. I haven't had French onion in ages and it really hit. Then I had the pulled pork slider, which was really good, but BABY... those short rib croquettes? To. Die. For. I also had to get my classic deviled eggs. A little heavy-handed on the paprika, but still solid. Drinks were half off, so of course I indulged. Started with an espresso martini because I needed something to jumpstart my day. Then I had a French martini because duh--I'm a French girl ‍. That one was good. Finished with my classic cosmo. Not gonna lie, I've had better, but it did what it needed to do and helped me forget my troubles for a couple hours. Also great playlist of music. I got there and they were playing Ska. Love me some Reel Big Fish and No Doubt. Mixed with some Motown and Bob Marley. Made me remember the good old days.

Bartender is a true professional, mixing cocktails that are imaginative and delicious. Lee's Black Manhattan was superb, a mix of Rittenhouse Rye & Amaro Averna, just so different and delicious, served up. After a difficult time trying to decide, I went with the Corpse Reviver No. 2 which is a delightful mix of London Dry Gin, Lillet Blank, lemon, Cointreau & absinthe rinse. It tasted like a light, fine lemon drop. We had already eaten but the menus all looked like they were filled with great options. We will create an UYE here..possibly even for a weekend day soon. They offer a very palatable HH and it would be great to return with a group of Yelpers soon.

The service was impeccable--our waiter was friendly, and really made us feel taken care of. But, as much as I wanted to keep coming back, the food just didn't live up to the expectations that the beautiful setting and upscale prices would suggest. I had high hopes, but some of the skepticism after reading other reviews which was unfortunately spot on: the food here is incredibly underwhelming for the price. Appetizers: Clams Casino: For $18, I was expecting a little more than six tiny clams, each one was rubbery, overcooked, and lacked any of the depth of flavor. Cajun Seared Tuna: I love a good tuna, and this one came close to being a standout. The sear was fine, and the temperature was just shy of medium, but the wasabi and teriyaki drizzle felt lazy. I've had better. Entrees: Mahi Mahi: Broiled, not seared, it wasn't terrible. The fish was a little on the dry side, but the overall flavor was decent, especially with the grilled pineapple topping. Still, for what it cost, I expected a more flavorful and tender piece of fish. Halibut (Dinner Special): This was really disappointing. Halibut is such a beautiful fish, delicate and buttery, but what I was served was far from it. The fish was overcooked, and the accompanying risotto was undercooked--nothing like the creamy, perfectly al dente risotto you'd expect at a restaurant of this caliber. It was bland, dry, and sorely lacking in seasoning. I had to add so much salt and pepper. Two mixed drinks, two beers, the two entrees, and two Apps added up to well over $200 (with tip). You're paying for the ambiance here, which is undeniably great, but the food just doesn't justify the cost. Despite the beautiful setting and excellent service, I'm not sure I'd be returning. Unless bad night for the cooks? Drift 82 has potential, but for now, it's more of a "look but don't touch" kind of place for me.
