    Salmon Roll, shrimp tempura, edamame
    CeCee S.

Ordered for delivery. I can best describe the meal as old...nothing seemed fresh. The miso soup was watery, no flavor at all. The cucumber roll didn't taste fresh...looked nice but couldn't eat it. The shrimp tempura was beige and probably need to be fried a bit longer...a little chalky. The edamame was definitely old. It was wilty and soft. The takoyaki was gummy and chewy. The eel again...wasn't fresh seemed like it had been sitting up awhile. The salmon roll was saved the rating. It was crisp and fresh and ate it all. Unfortunately I don't think I would order again.

Genki roll, spicy tuna, spicy dragon roll.

First time trying this place - spicy tuna, tuna tower, dragon roll, and Genki roll. It was all terrible. Covered in so much mayo and cream cheese, you couldn't even grab a piece with chopsticks without it falling apart on the plate. I might as well have been eating spicy mayo out of a jar. Even the spicy tuna looked like mushed fish. A complete waste of money.

This is a late review. I ordered sushi from here through Door dash. In less than 5 hours I had food poisoning. I only threw up the sushi and was sick all weekend. During this time in Covid, health and sanitation are more important than ever and this place did not meet that standard. I have also rated through Door dash

Ordered Genki to-go & it was delicious! Salmon Roll (6 pcs) and Spicy Salmon Roll (8 pcs) tasted very fresh with generous amount of salmon inside. Price was cheap compared to other sushi places (about $6 per roll). I'll be back!

Have ordered from this place about five times. Always pleased with the quality and the price of the food. The selection is however limited.

Honestly, if you told me, I'd find Tokyo train station energy in the middle of Dallas, I'd assume you mixed up your flight connections. First the service. Crazy good. Fast, friendly, shockingly, competent, and basically everything you don't mentally prepare for when someone says, let's get Ramen in Texas. It's more attentive than what I'm used to standing Ramen, to be honest basically they are self serve. So if the service is bad at your own fault. Finding the place, however? A quest. Google, yelp, Apple maps all tried their best and still acted like I was searching for the lost city of Atlantis. Even now, I'm not convinced I can find it again without divine intervention. A treasure hunt for Ramen at the end of the rainbow is only cardio I'm signing up for. Confession, I'm not even a Ramen fan. Like at all. And yet. OMG. I ordered the weekly special, the Rose cream Ramen, which is basically Korean tteobokki rose sauce but instead of chewy rice cakes, you get chewy Ramen noodles living their best life. It's creamy, spicy, comforting, and absolutely worth popping a Lactaid for. Lactose intolerant folks, unite and suffer intolerance together and noodle induced bliss. I have to admit this bowl was spot on amazing. Honestly, better than the instant Ramen I tossed into my Rose tteobokki at home, and I don't say that lightly because that combo has carried me through some dark times. Parking? Well let's just say walking from far away was a blessing. After inhaling that bowl, I needed to trek a walk of the incoming food coma, that was swallowing me whole. Impossible to find. Impossible not to love. And absolutely impossible to believe it's in Dallas, Texas.

The inside is tiny and there isn't even a proper "waiting" area. I've also tried coming here before, and there was also a long wait. I'm glad I decided to stick it out this time. We ordered the Wagyu sushi, Yakitori, Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, and the Tomato Ramen. The Wagyu sushi is torched right in front of you! The Wagyu was incredibly tender and the sauce was delicious. My only *nitpicky* critique is the rice was ever so slightly too moist, but that didn't stop me from inhaling the sushi. Next, the Yakitori was phenomenal. I've never had such tender chicken in my life. There was a nice layer of delicious sauce coating the skewer. Again, just a really nitpicky feedback I have was that I wish the Yakitori had the tiniest bit more char to it, but nevertheless was an incredible bite, and I'd 100% order again in a heartbeat. Onto the ramen - easily hands down one of the best ramen I've had in DFW. The broth is flavorful, and I love the noodles. I'm not sure if they're handmade from scratch, but they had the perfect thickness and chewiness. I also loved generous the portion of cha shu slices. Most other places only give you 1-2 thin slices, but that was not the case here. The pork was tender. The ajitama was solid too, although I prefer more of a soft-boiled egg. While the meat portion is more generous here, the tonkotsu didn't come with many vegetables. A lot of other ramen places I've been to will have corn, fried garlic, etc as default, but those are all additional cost add-ons here. The ramen was delicious without them though but just something to note. We also got the tomato ramen as it's the chef recommendation. The dish is very creative and the execution was great. Personally, I still prefer traditional ramens but it was certainly a nice culinary creation to try. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would come here again. Just be aware there may be a wait, and because they're so busy, you do have to proactively flag down staff. However, the staff are still really nice despite all the tasks they're juggling at once.

The restaurant has a window to talk with a person but you must order your food via an iPad, which failed the first time we tried. The attendant pulled himself out of the window and leaned on the ledge to fix the problem. Unexpectedly, the person came out of the building to deliver the food. Seating is all outdoors meaning customers will seek alternatives if the weather is too hot, cold or wet. So that puts it in the category of a food truck with a fixed location that is difficult to find, in an inconvenient area. While the location is not close to anyplace, the neighborhood has some new construction, which will help establish the restaurant but not for several months. We only found the place because we had been to Sandwich Hag but don't expect great signage. The dirt driveway is immediately past the building and paved parking is in the rear. Strangely, the outdoor seating is mostly unpaved (dirt and rocks) but cars park on a nice concrete pad. While the food is good, I fear the lack of indoor seating, lack of service, remote location, and poor signage will take its toll on the success of the restaurant. Hopefully the rent is low enough that the restaurant can be profitable and establish itself.

Our table was seated directly beneath an air vent that was actively dripping water. During dinner, the water repeatedly dripped onto me. After notifying the staff the first time, they simply wiped down the vent while food was being served rather than offering to reseat our party. When I brought the issue to their attention a second time, the response was the same; they wiped it down, but the dripping continued throughout the remainder of the meal. For a restaurant at this price point, I expected a more proactive solution and better attention to guest comfort. Additionally, our group ordered the Demon Slayer 300 mL sake, priced at $55. After pouring the sake, our server, Adonis, took the bottle away with him, even though we understood that the bottle was intended to remain at the table for our party. This added to the confusion and frustration surrounding the overall experience. As a first-time guest, I was looking forward to an enjoyable dining experience, but the lack of attention to these issues left me disappointed. While the food may have been enjoyable, the service and handling of these concerns fell short of expectations, particularly given the cost of dining here.
