I've lived around the corner from this place for 5 years and I should have tried it sooner! The restaurant is in an odd strip mall but it doesn't disappoint. The restaurant was clean, modern with a really cool dragon mural on the wall. The service was quick and friendly. Best of all the food: -Steam Buns with Pork Belly (5/5): 2nd fav item. The bun was pillow soft, the pork belly was tender and this was an overall flavor bomb. Added sriracha because we like spice and it was PERFECTO! -House salad (4/5): Cruchy veggies + sweet & tangy dressing made a great fresh bite. -Garlic Scented Edamame (5/5): FAV BITE. If you're a garlic lover, this is for you! Comes out hot, garlicky without being overly salty-PERFECTION! -Fried Squid legs (3/5): a little chewier then I would like. Also the big pieces made it hard to eat- tear it down then it's manageable. -Spicy Miso Ramen (4/5): Flavorful broth, pork belly was perfectly charred, egg was nicely cooked at a medium. Honestly could be more spicy but overall a great bowl of noodles! Will definitely come back. If you're in the area-- check it out!

Worst ramen I've ever had. I will not return or recommend. The ramen had no flavor and was super greasy. The gyoza was soggy and coming apart. When he brought our sake bottle over he just slammed it on the table with the glasses stacked and walked away. Didn't come back to check on us until after about 20 minutes and we had to flag him over to give us our check. The place didn't seem very clean. I'm not sure why this place has a high rating.

Valentine's Day coworker luncheon! I recently tried restaurant-style ramen for the first time during a team lunch on Valentine's Day, organized by our manager. We decided to step out of our usual routine and explore something new together. I chose the beef ramen, upgraded with udon noodles, and added the soy garlic wings to my order. Initially, the broth lacked a distinct depth of flavor, so I enhanced it with a dash of sriracha hot sauce. Unfortunately, the seasoning on the wings--using both fish sauce and soy sauce--overpowered the garlic, resulting in a notably fishy, salty taste. Ultimately, nothing about the meal convinced me to recommend or revisit this establishment. On the upside, I did manage to try something different, which aligns with my goal for 2025.

Consistently amazing every single time. One of my favorite meals in Dallas. Always get the spicy miso with pork and it never disappoints.

If you're looking for authentic ramen flavor don't come here. You'd have a better shot at making Ramen at home... seriously Ramen noodles... plain. Ramen broth very mild flavor, Tonkutsu was not creamy, corn was old, pork belly again no flavor to it, just taste cooked. Reviews say egg was overcooked, welp it was so don't overlook that comment. DO NOT HAVE THE WATER! It literally taste like faucet water. Just go next door and have PHO! ‍

Is this the same one that used to be on maple? Love the vibes in here. The music is good!! The service is good. Laid back and attentive workers. Give us some pretty good recommendations so we went with it. Seafood spicy miso was my choice. It was delicious and filling! We also ordered the spicy edamame and that was bomb!!!!! Pls get that! Glad it's close to work. Will definitely come back

My friend wanted ramen for lunch so we landed here. We started off with the chicken karaage and gyoza which were both lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered the seafood ramen and my friend ordered the tonkotsu ramen. We both felt the flavor of the broth could've been richer and he did note it could've been spicer even with the side of spicy oil he had. Overall, it was an ok experience and we had good customer service.

My brother and I had a craving for ramen, and looked up spots nearby with good reviews. This spot is located in an unassuming strip mall. To be honest, I never would have even thought to eat here if it hadn't been for the high number of good reviews. I went with my go-to, the spicy miso ramen. It was surprisingly tasty! I didn't expect it to taste as good as it did. Thanks to the honest reviews, I was able to discover a place I would have otherwise never visited. My brother had the signature Ichiro bowl, and said it was delicious as well. I will absolutely come back again next time I find myself in the area.

High-quality Ramen in the medical district. I got the pork Tonkotsu Ramen and it was incredibly delicious. The pork had this melt in your mouth texture, and very easy to chew And flavorful. The service was quick and efficient. The place had a nice ambience. They also had a lot of vegetarian ramen options.

The ramen here is incredibly flavorful and savory. I had the vegetarian ramen, and from the first bite, it was more flavorful than most places I've tried. My friend had the spicy tonkotsu ramen and said it was even more flavorful and rich. I also appreciated that they offered four different vegetarian options, which is a lot compared to other places. The overall experience was great: the place is cute, the service was fast and attentive, and the food was delicious!

I usually have to share with my husband and that's more than enough for us. They have an awesome selection of cocktails here too, so don't ignore the drink menu. Not a problem since we enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoying our drinks. The bartenders were great, fast and very friendly. I appreciate that before pouring my wine, the one bartender put in a lot of effort to buffing my glass. I ordered a plum wine to start, which is always delicious and sweet. We were seated a little earlier than 20 minutes, but unfortunately weren't greeted for a bit following that. They were super busy though. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable, and we stuck with splitting apps versus getting ramen. We ordered the shishito peppers, karaage, takoyaki, and edamame. To drink, we ordered and split the hot sake. The first plates came out pretty quickly, and were hot and delicious. Our hot sake took a while to be delivered, and we had to ask our waiter to double check it was still on the way. Then when it arrived, we had to fight off a bunch of gnats that kept landing on the bottle. I guess they wanted to party, too! The shishito peppers were definitely my favorite. They were perfectly coated in sauce and flavoring. The karaage was tender and tastes especially good when paired with the watermelon. takoyaki was served hot and it's a blast watching the Bonita flakes dance on the balls. The edamame, while good, needed to be stirred up because the salt distribution was heavy on certain pieces. We wished we could order dessert, but felt a bit rushed by the server. It was a little before 10pm, so we understand they're off at 11pm, but as a former server there's definitely better ways to keep up with the closing process that feels less intrusive to the patrons. Overall, we had a blast at Wabi house and the food was great. Maybe we went on an off night for service, but overall will definitely be back again!!

I am surprised despite the popularity, the wait was not long at all and we were able to get seat almost immediately. For the first time, we ordered 2 appetizers - shrimp tempura and gyoza, not particularly outstanding, but they came out fast! As we were diving into our appetizers, the ramen was ready for us. I had the Spicy Miso Special (with mild spice) and my boyfriend had the Hinodeya special with medium spice. I personally like mine better because it was creamy and super flavorful compared to the Hinodeya special. My boyfriend tends to get stomach ache and fee bloated if he eats too much MSG. But he didn't feel any of those symptoms. To him, it was one of the biggest indicators if that is a good ramen or not. For the second time, we ordered takoyaki and karaage. Again, nothing too outstanding. This time, my boyfriend had what I had last time and I ordered the Tonkatsu special (no pic, sorry!). Maybe because of the lack of spice, I still prefer the Spicy Miso Special over Tonkatsu (Tonkatsu ramen is always my go-to in ramen spots). Regardless, we enjoyed our meals very much in both times. I think we have found our go-to ramen spot in DFW area!

The appetizer also came with a decent amount of pieces (I think 5?). After this I ordered the spicy miso special ramen which was superb. They give you the option to change the spiciness which I appreciated because sometimes you want something very spicy and sometimes you don't. Everything in the ramen was fantastic: the egg was gooey, the pork melted in my mouth, and the noodles were firm without being overcooked. The broth was seasoned so well and super yummy to where I didn't feel the need to add anything to my bowl. My total for my food plus a soda came to about $30 which is typical for the amount I got. I'd say it was definitely worth it! I will say, if you're a bit messy like I am, to wear a dark colored shirt since you may leave with a few broth stains. (Still worth it).

Honestly, if you told me, I'd find Tokyo train station energy in the middle of Dallas, I'd assume you mixed up your flight connections. First the service. Crazy good. Fast, friendly, shockingly, competent, and basically everything you don't mentally prepare for when someone says, let's get Ramen in Texas. It's more attentive than what I'm used to standing Ramen, to be honest basically they are self serve. So if the service is bad at your own fault. Finding the place, however? A quest. A treasure hunt for Ramen at the end of the rainbow is only cardio I'm signing up for. Confession, I'm not even a Ramen fan. Like at all. And yet. OMG. Honestly, better than the instant Ramen I tossed into my Rose tteobokki at home, and I don't say that lightly because that combo has carried me through some dark times. Parking? Well let's just say walking from far away was a blessing. After inhaling that bowl, I needed to trek a walk of the incoming food coma, that was swallowing me whole. Impossible to find. I've also tried coming here before, and there was also a long wait. I'm glad I decided to stick it out this time. We ordered the Wagyu sushi, Yakitori, Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, and the Tomato Ramen. The Wagyu sushi is torched right in front of you! The Wagyu was incredibly tender and the sauce was delicious. My only *nitpicky* critique is the rice was ever so slightly too moist, but that didn't stop me from inhaling the sushi. Next, the Yakitori was phenomenal. I've never had such tender chicken in my life. There was a nice layer of delicious sauce coating the skewer. Again, just a really nitpicky feedback I have was that I wish the Yakitori had the tiniest bit more char to it, but nevertheless was an incredible bite, and I'd 100% order again in a heartbeat. Onto the ramen - easily hands down one of the best ramen I've had in DFW. The broth is flavorful, and I love the noodles. I'm not sure if they're handmade from scratch, but they had the perfect thickness and chewiness. I also loved generous the portion of cha shu slices. Most other places only give you 1-2 thin slices, but that was not the case here. The pork was tender. The ajitama was solid too, although I prefer more of a soft-boiled egg. While the meat portion is more generous here, the tonkotsu didn't come with many vegetables. A lot of other ramen places I've been to will have corn, fried garlic, etc as default, but those are all additional cost add-ons here. The ramen was delicious without them though but just something to note. We also got the tomato ramen as it's the chef recommendation. The dish is very creative and the execution was great. Personally, I still prefer traditional ramens but it was certainly a nice culinary creation to try. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would come here again. Just be aware there may be a wait, and because they're so busy, you do have to proactively flag down staff. However, the staff are still really nice despite all the tasks they're juggling at once.

On to the ramen -- if you want to know if you're getting a quality bowl, look no further than the preparation of the egg. No respectable ramen shop would serve you well done boiled eggs which was the case here. The tonkatsu had heavy garlic flavor which is good but was unfortunately overshadowed by the abundance of burnt garlic bits. Not much to say about the Dan Dan. Bathroom clean but had a strong smelled. Would not go out of my way nor return with the amount of noodle options in dfw.

Parking wasn't bad either, there are lots and a garage nearby. However, the food itself fell flat for me. We ordered the crispy chicken happy hour special, which comes with a side salad. The chicken was on the dry side. Whenever I order Kaarage, it usually comes with a dipping sauce, but there was none here and that would've really helped out. The dressing on the side salad was way too acidic, making it hard to eat as well. In addition, we ordered the takoyaki as an appetizer. The takoyaki themselves were pretty solid, but the texture of the mayo was off. I'm not sure if they make their mayo in-house, but i noticed it was curdled. For the ramen, we ordered Jinya Tonkotsu Black and Creamy Veggie Ramen. Pricing is standard for DFW ramen restaurants, although *slightly* higher than some others (by like $1). The base ramen comes with a good variety of toppings! However, the ramen was just okay. The noodles are on the skinnier side, which I prefer thicker, chewier noodles. The pork chashu serving was small, and it tasted kind of old and wasn't that tender nor flavorful. The broth was just alright. I prefer soft-boiled, jammy ramen eggs, but the ajitama here was cooked longer than I would've liked. Ironically, I thought the veggie ramen was *much* better. The broth had better flavor, and they use different noodles than the tonkotsu, which were thicker (and exactly what I like!). Lastly, we had the matcha tiramisu for dessert. On a positive note, the matcha flavor was detectable. However, the tiramisu crème wasn't that fluffy, and there were noticeable amounts of undissolved sugar. Both the curdled mayo and tiramisu crème provide enough data points to suggest that whoever in the kitchen is responsible for blending/mixing needs some more training and attention to detail.
