Came back again to get my fix! I ordered the dry ramen again with no broth lol. It was such a mistake last time! I prefer to go and can't wait to get home to. How down

Excellent little ramen shop! We've heard many good things, so we finally tried it. It is standing room only and was pretty packed, buy the food didn't take very long to come out. My lobster ramen was SO GOOD! Lots of deep flavor, quite a few pieces of lobster, springy noodles. No wonder they have the reputation of being one of the best in the city!

The ramen place was okay overall. The broth had decent flavor, but it wasn't anything special. The portion size was good, and the service was friendly. Not bad, but I've definitely had better.

Been wanting to try this Dallas gem for so long! When you enter, you order/pay on the tablet then 1. Stand inside and eat 2. Sit outside at the blue tables across the parking lot 3. Take it to go. I got the tonkotsu to go with +$2.50 for a poached egg (which was a little jarring because in my experience ramen usually comes with at least half an egg included). Broth was decadent, but the chashu was by far my favorite part!

Best ramen I have had in Dallas, the spicy maze-man is delicious, I also get a side of white rice and broth which is also very rich and tasty. You can eat inside standing but it is small inside or eat outside on the tables they have set.

Spicy shoyu ramen was incredible. Pork had a nice char grilled flavor. Only thing that wasn't to my preference was the egg which was poached and fully runny. Waited around 15 minutes on a Sunday evening but worth the wait and was still able to grab eating space at the indoors standing bar. Would recommend for takeout or 1-3 people dining in but not groups.

Ten Ramen is a unique dining experience as they do not offer any chairs. It is a very tiny establishment that will fit about 10 people & food is served at the bar where there are no chairs so you eat standing up at the bar, so please keep that in mind when visiting. Based on the meal that I ordered, the Tonkatsu Ramen I was underwhelmed as it didn't have as much flavor as I would've hoped and that you typically get with Original Tonkatsu. However my bf ordered the "lobster" ramen which he confirmed was actually crab but said it was delicious and very flavorful. You also order at a tablet so there is minimum interaction with the cooks, no greeting upon entering however, when requesting certain items like boxes, seasonings, questions etc there also wasn't the best service. Ultimately my bf did enjoy his so I would give it one more shot and order something else although the menu options are limited. But this time I know what to expect so hoping for a better second experience! :)

Amazing service! Ramen ten/ten!!!! Chef was friendly and energy was amazing! Super cute lunch spot!

I was craving something soupy after a night out and this didn't disappoint! Unfortunately, I did not realize it was standing only so that was a surprise. There are a few tables outside and a restroom upstairs. The ordering process was easy. You order from the monitor and you're notified when it's ready. I had the lobster broth and my partner had the shoyu. My broth was nice and creamy and the noodles were hot. For the shoyu we opted to make it spicy - and it had a decent kick. We love spicy so it wasn't an issue, but might be a bit spicy in general.

Ask the Community - Ten Ramen

On Saturdays they open until 5:30 or 11:30 am?

They're still open just to shut down any confusion.

    Are they currently closed?

    No, they're still in business!

When will you be opening your other location back up? Absolutely unacceptable that it's been closed an entire month now.

It's actually been shut down so this is the only location now

Do they have a lunch menu?

One menu for both lunch and dinner

Do they have take out available?

They do now (post-pandemic). Previously they did not.

Is this sapporo style or hakata or something else? Does this place aim to emulate any particular style of authentic Japanese ramen or is it intentionally fusion? (Or worse, accidentally fusion...)

I don’t know to be honest but if it helps it’ll be better than any other traditional ramen you’ll ever have. But they happen to have uncommon ramen to incorporate seasonal and regional food and ingredients aside from their regular menu that they…

    Are there any vegetarian options?

They are now offering vegetarian friendly special. They do it weekly, but you can ask them a roasted cabbage broth with grilled eggplant. (The ramen noodles are made with eggs, but vegans can get the broth with rice for a totally animal-free option)…

Veggie options???? What kind of broth do they use?

    Pork / chicken broth

I accidentally mixed up the broth and curry so we essentially ended up with curry ramen, but honestly it was delicious so it worked out. I did not realize the ramen broth is a dashi broth, which is clear instead of cloudy, so I mistook the curry for the ramen broth. Clearly my brain was not working that night but it ended up being a happy accident. One thing to note is that they charge extra for spice levels above level 2 and the price increases with each level. We got level 3 for both items and it was genuinely spicy. You will feel it while eating and definitely after as well. Hinodeya Special ($20.70) + Oni-kara Level 3 ($1) + Naruto ($1.50) + Inari Fried Sweet Tofu ($3) = $26.20: We swapped to spinach noodles which worked really well. The naruto came in 4 big thick slices but did not have much flavor to me. The tofu came in 3 small thin strips that were sweet but I did not think they were worth the add on price. Sukiyaki Curry ($22.42) + Oni-kara Level 3 ($1) + Spicy Pork ($4.50) = $27.92: You can tell this is homemade curry because the color and taste were completely different from the store bought curry roux you typically find elsewhere. It was creamy and made from a pork stock soup which is apparently also used in their ramen. The beef was a bit too fatty for me but I absolutely loved the spicy pork. I loved both items and will 100% be reordering from here. Can not wait to try their other items too.

Our server was attentive, provided us menus and the restaurant's decor created a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that transported me back to Okinawa Japan. After traveling abroad, it is especially refreshing to find authentic Japanese cuisine in the United States, and Hinodeya Ramen truly stands out in that regard. We ordered several katsu curry plates, bento boxes for the children, and started with an order of gyoza as an appetizer. The gyoza arrived crisp on the outside with a juicy filling that we demolished within minutes of being placed on the table. The katsu curry arrived as crispy cutlets paired with a thick, curry sauce that was rich and delicious. The chicken bento boxes contained a variety of vegetables, rice and their selection of proteins. Our meal was flavorful, and absolutely delicious. This establishment also brought back memories for my sister and me of our time serving abroad in Okinawa. The rich flavors, the spicy curry, and the authenticity of the cooking made it feel like a small return to Japan. Finding Japanese food that encompasses those flavors is not easy to find, but this restaurant truly delivered. I highly recommend Hinodeya Ramen for anyone looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience in Dallas. It will absolutely be my go-to spot whenever I'm back in the area!

Overall: 3.1/5 [delivery]…read more We ordered on UberEats right when they opened and the food arrived in about 45 minutes, nicely packaged. Garlic Rice Bowl ($13) + Pork Chashu ($2.60): The eggs did not look anything like the picture and there was not a lot of them in general. The flavors were on point though, which I think was thanks to the pork chashu. The cubed chashu looked a bit odd and made me a little wary but the flavors still worked. We also ordered extra fresh garlic which was free and adding it to the fried rice made it more fragrant and flavorful. This was still the best item of the meal. Creamy Tonkatsu Ramen ($24.44): Made with pork and soy broth so it was not as fatty or umami as a regular tonkatsu. It tasted like your average ramen and was not worth the price. We have had Jinya in LA and Vegas and know it can be better. Even though it did not taste particularly fatty, my body felt it and I broke out a bit later that day. Aburi Oshi Sushi Salmon ($11.44): Came with 3 pieces that were just alright. Salmon Poke Tacos ($10.40): Came with 2 small tacos. They packed the poke separately to keep the taco shell crispy, but you do have to assemble everything yourself. The poke itself was not super fresh and this was our least favorite item of the meal.

The inside is tiny and there isn't even a proper "waiting" area. I've also tried coming here before, and there was also a long wait. I'm glad I decided to stick it out this time. We ordered the Wagyu sushi, Yakitori, Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, and the Tomato Ramen. The Wagyu sushi is torched right in front of you! The Wagyu was incredibly tender and the sauce was delicious. My only *nitpicky* critique is the rice was ever so slightly too moist, but that didn't stop me from inhaling the sushi. Next, the Yakitori was phenomenal. I've never had such tender chicken in my life. There was a nice layer of delicious sauce coating the skewer. Again, just a really nitpicky feedback I have was that I wish the Yakitori had the tiniest bit more char to it, but nevertheless was an incredible bite, and I'd 100% order again in a heartbeat. Onto the ramen - easily hands down one of the best ramen I've had in DFW. The broth is flavorful, and I love the noodles. I'm not sure if they're handmade from scratch, but they had the perfect thickness and chewiness. I also loved generous the portion of cha shu slices. Most other places only give you 1-2 thin slices, but that was not the case here. The pork was tender. The ajitama was solid too, although I prefer more of a soft-boiled egg. While the meat portion is more generous here, the tonkotsu didn't come with many vegetables. A lot of other ramen places I've been to will have corn, fried garlic, etc as default, but those are all additional cost add-ons here. The ramen was delicious without them though but just something to note. We also got the tomato ramen as it's the chef recommendation. The dish is very creative and the execution was great. Personally, I still prefer traditional ramens but it was certainly a nice culinary creation to try. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would come here again. Just be aware there may be a wait, and because they're so busy, you do have to proactively flag down staff. However, the staff are still really nice despite all the tasks they're juggling at once.
