I ordered door dash so I can only review the food. I got the large bowl with 2x salmon and 1x tofu. I got rice and salad, mango, avocado, cucumber, garlic, poke sauce and ponzu sauce. I got heavy sauce and am really glad I did. I like the ponzu to get to the rice and it barely did. It was not overly sauced. The fish was fresh. I wish there was more salad, it was not half the base. So I did really enjoy it and would go back. I asked for utensils and they sent a fork. read more

UPDATE: They gave me a $15 coupon on DoorDash after my terrible experience, only for me to decide I will give it another try, and only because I had that coupon- I'm not paying full price here after the first time. Ordered from Uber Eats because there was a BOGO special. It was quick, fresh, and exactly what we were looking for. We did two proteins BYO with tuna, coco mango haupia, and a strawberry lemonade. The bowls were very large for the price; I ended up saving over half for lunch the next day! The spicy tuna and sauces packed a punch! The spice built up but the rice mellowed the flavor. The coco mango haupia was super sweet but light. It made a mess in the bag but was still tasty. The strawberry lemonade was average. read more

Used to be five stars every time I ordered! However they have upped their prices on uber eats. A regular bowl with protein you have to pay for not included in the price? That just added five dollars when it should be included! Also buy one get one free isn't actually buy one get one free when one of my poke bowls is 40 dollars. I used to love ordering here but now I can't afford it like i used to. Stop being stingy and price gouging your customers! read more

Absolutely amaziiiiing quality ingredients! Overall seriously impressed, especially being a Californian. It's always a bit of a risk going for Seafood in non coastal spots. Pokeworks is the real deal.The price point does reflect the quality of ingredients and is pretty standard for poke places. Yes, avocado is extra. Plenty of street parking on a weekday. I love that you can choose to do either a bowl or a sushiburrito. I was super intrigued by their kale noodles as an option for a base, although sadly they were out when I dropped in. HIGHLY recommend the mango haupia dessert, I would return for this alone - it literally melts in your mouth! Incredible. I would happily come here again for a poke fix. read more

Wasn't planning to do a review so soon but thank you to the young lady who helped us tonight! I forgot to ask for her name - she has pink hair! As soon as we walked into the store, we could see that she was busy with an online order. She still acknowledged and greeted us with a smile on her face and told us it'll be a quick second. When we ordered, she was patient & was filled with a positive attitude since it was our first time there. While we were eating, at least 10 customers came in. She was kind to each and every customer. Greeted them, asked how they were doing, and then wished them a good night. This gesture is so simple, yet lately I've yet to experience it anywhere I go. Thanks for the great customer service! Ordered uber eats here because they had a bogo deal and was very disappointed. Portion sizes were extremely small. They gave us a healthy amount of rice, however, it wasn't fully cooked and was stale as if it had been sitting with an open pot for a while. I'm not one to enjoy dry, al dente rice with my poke bowl. Will just go to poke bop moving forward as they give you great portions and fresh ingredients for every bowl you get. read more

I feel like the size of the poke bowl has gotten smaller. I use to order delivery frequently and was disappointed at the portion size for a large bowl after order previous times before. Also there was no lobster in their special lobster add when I requested it and barely any salad of a poke salad bowl. It could be more service related or whoever was making it at the time. Initially they were quick to respond to my ubereats review and gave me a voucher to give them another try. Which I thought was nice at the time... Then I came in to utilize the voucher which turns out was an invalid voucher. I sent an email follow up which received with a quick response to "look into it" which resorted me paying full price for something I should have gotten comped or I could've just walked out and wasted the food. I just asked for a refund on my receipt which I provided and have not heard back over 24 hours on an update in which they usually respond within a few hours. Just request not offering a voucher to "make things right" and then not honor it. Even for the paid poke bowl, the large size has definitely gotten smaller. I'm a little hesitant on giving this place another shot due to lack of follow through on service, portion size shrinking and going to take this off my delivery rotation. read more

Service was fast and they were nice overall. The actual restaurant is clean and small. There is street parking almost always too! The poke was delicious and very filling for the normal size! Soft opening was tonight. It's really the best poke bowl in Dallas. They have 2 sizes of bowls; regular and large. The regular was very filling. Nice Portion size. In the poke bowl tuna regular size it comes with two sides. I got 1 scoop of tuna and 1 scoop spicy tuna (to balance out the spicy:)). The fish was super fresh. They had a bunch of unique sauces that I've haven't seen at other Poke places. I also had the miso soup which was very tasty. They also had fun yummy things to put in the rice bowl like kelp, nori, onion crisps. Pokeworks was clean, lots of staff so line moved quick. Will definitely be back. read more

I would give this 4 stars, HOWEVER,... I left a tip and asked (as I always do) if the tip goes to the person making my bowl and they said they NEVER see any of the tip included in cash or in the tip line?! The tip box even had a lock on it so they couldn't grab it?!! That is OUTRAGEOUS. The never see it included in their pay!! horrible!!!! I use to order this place all the time off of uber eats and literally never again. my mom went to pick up my order and was then interrogated because my name on the order had PU after my name and my mom did not say that because PU STANDS FOR PICK UP AND THE EMPLOYEE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT??? he literally refused to give her the order because of this and when I said I was going to come up there to get it because the screen shots I provided literally showing the order were not enough for him (no one has EVER asked to see something they ask my name and literally hand me the food, it can't be "policy" if no one else does it) well when I said I would just come up there and grab it he then proceeded to pick up the phone and threaten to call the police??? mind you this is all over a $20 order that is not coming out of his pocket. I am currently waiting for a full refund from uber eats and the General Manager who I was told is Greg (or Craig) to give me a call. I went in on Saturday, 5/18/24, at around 1:30. The poke is decent but the customer service makes the whole experience terrible. I walked in and was not greeted but instead ask by a girl with a terrible attitude "what can I get you?" The vibe she gave off was that she was very unhappy to be serving me and wished I never came in. Its makes the ok food taste worse. I won't be back to this location. read more

I ordered the large combo on Uber eats tonight and I did not enjoy it at all. My rice was hot making the fish warm and slightly cooked when it should be cold. Even though I had three proteins, the order is 80% rice. I was shocked by how little fish there was as I ordered two salmon and one tuna. This place is as low as quality can possibly get. while eating my food I felt something hard and from my bowl and spit out a metal staple. I am a nurse practitioner and this is undeniably a health risk to any consumer. I would never recommend or go back to a public place who doesn't not hold a higher standard in the delivery of their food. l've been to the other Pokeworks location's and loved it. I was excited to find one in uptown near me and boy am i disappointed. The rice was hard and under cooked. It was like chewing on grainy chips. The fish has a bad fishy taste like it was not stored properly. My girlfriend took a bite and had to spit it out. We have a lot of leftovers for the plane trip home. I got some gravy to put on the rice and katsu. They have katsu sauce and curry sauce if you want. I tried the katsu sauce and it's a little different from Hawaii. The curry sauce that they have is a green curry. I really only like Japanese curry so I didn't try it. The rice that they use is calrose and this is what's supposed to be used. I spoke with the owner Andy and he was very friendly. He ended up giving me 2 spam music.
