El día de ayer tenía mi reservación para 2 personas a las 9:00 pm, llegamos a las 9:07pm nos pasaron a nuestra mesa un lugar bonito y muy amplio tiene diferentes áreas para que te sientas cómodo, nosotros elegimos sentarnos de lado de la barra, hasta ese momento todo está bien nos llevaron el menú y unos chips, y vuelvo a repetir hasta ese momento un poquito bien ya que en otros lugares conforme te llevan el menú te dicen que si gustan algo para tomar, y aquí ni un vaso de agua nos ofrecieron, pasaron los primeros 15 minutos y comenzamos a desesperarnos ya que ningún mesero a pesar de que no había mucha gente y a pesar de que ahí se encontraba el señor Mr. Tempo(Jorge) que estaba enfrente de nosotros ni así nos ofrecieron el servicio, terminamos por irnos del lugar después de 30 minutos, se me olvido pagar los chips que te ofrecen al llevarte a tu mesa, lo siento. Solo buscábamos relajarnos y conocer el nuevo establecimiento el menú y los drinks pero terminamos con un pésimo y mal sabor de boca. Yesterday I had my reservation for 2 people at 9:00 pm, we arrived at 9:07 pm they passed us at our table a nice and very spacious place has different areas for you to feel comfortable, we chose to sit next to the bar, until that moment everything is fine they brought us the menu and some chips, and I repeat until that moment a little well since in other places as they bring you the menu they tell you that if you like something to drink, and here they didn't even offer us a glass of water, the first 15 minutes passed And we began to despair since no waiter despite the fact that there were not many people and despite the fact that Mr. Tempo (Jorge) who was in front of us was there, they didn't even offer us the service, we ended up leaving the place after 30 minutes, I forgot to pay for the chips they offer you when they take you to your table, I'm sorry. I would to share my disappointment regarding my recent experience at your Geisha location on Valentine's Day. For the past six years, I have been a loyal customer and have regularly taken my wife to your restaurants for special occasions. We have visited multiple locations, including Downey, Brea, Hollywood, and Montebello, and have consistently received quality service, food, and overall experience. Unfortunately, our visit to the Geisha location was extremely disappointing. After driving 30 minutes specifically to experience this location, we were not informed until we were already seated that the only dining option available was a $150 fixed menu, excluding drinks. This information was not clearly disclosed prior to being seated. Had we been properly informed in advance, we would have reconsidered dining there. The fixed menu was significantly limited and nothing compared to your regular menu offerings. The food quality and selection did not justify the premium price. Additionally, the two mojitos we ordered were watered down and poorly prepared. Our total bill came to $256 for the fixed menu dinner, two drinks, one sushi roll, and $36 in gratuity. The overall experience did not reflect the value expected from your brand and fell far below the standard we have become accustomed to over the years. This was meant to be a special Valentine's celebration, and instead, it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. It was literally a scam! read more

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! Every dish was packed with flavor and freshness. We started with the hamachi sashimi, which had a wonderfully fresh taste with just the right amount of spice. The citrus roll was absolutely outstanding--infused with a variety of flavors and a subtle smoky touch that made it unforgettable. For the main dishes, we tried the surf and turf and the Ensenada taco, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. But what truly stole the show were the drinks! They were not only reasonably priced but also presented beautifully. I had the strawberry jalapeño margarita and the Mia margarita, and while both were delicious, the Mia margarita was definitely my favorite. On top of the fantastic food and drinks, our server Heidi made the experience even better. She was incredibly attentive, sweet, and gave us great food recommendations. I was really looking forward to trying Geisha, especially since I'm a longtime fan of Tempo Cantina just down the street. Unfortunately, Geisha was a major letdown. To be fair, the music and decor were nice, that's the one positive. But when it comes to the food, it was a total miss. We specifically came for the sushi, only to be told they weren't serving it because the kitchen was backed up. How does a restaurant named "Geisha" not serve sushi? We ended up ordering the aguachiles, which I do not recommend. They had a strange and unpleasant aftertaste. The drinks were also disappointing. Service was all over the place. Our table of 11 was served in waves. Three of us had already finished eating by the time two more dishes came out. It was disorganized, and the place wasn't even that busy. Been here a couple times. Food is good. Service, very sub par. Had made an open table reservation and they canceled it 40+ minutes after we were seated. Went for a graduation and they added the tip because of party size. Then the server tried to bully us into an additional tip. Said additional tip was optional, then stood over my shoulder watching and repeatedly saying you can add an extra tip if you want.
