Ok if you need a quick pick me and awesome cup of Joe then this is the place to go. They have a shot of coffee called the Undertow and to be honest it has to be done in house but it's a experience you won't want to miss it's made with coffee on top of a bit of creamer in the middle finally on top of a splash of white chocolate I know it sounds strange but when you do the shot it all blends together hitting all the right notes. The caramel macchiato is also another pleasant blend of not to sweet of foam and coffee/caramel mix you should try. Next trip will be for the scones and sandwiches they all looked delicious. I LOVE LOVE Gather! Specialty coffees, smoothies, soups, muffins you name it! I'd give them my money every day if I could! I appreciate the warm cozy feeling. My friends and associates enjoy meeting here for impromptu meetings and they have a conference space if you need to rent that as well. I'm glad Gather is in WB! read more

Really cool place! I've come to Gather a couple of times after church or the gym. I've had the avocado boats and the turkey blt. Both delicious! The avocado boats are a good low carb lunch or snack option! I'm intrigued by a lot of the breakfast items on the menu like the toasts I'd like to try eventually. I must say I've had the espresso in an americano which I did not like at all. I ordered it a second time to see if I was tripping and it still wasn't good. It had a very very bitter taste that was pretty much inedible for me! I've had plenty of Americanos that never tasted like that. Not sure if it's me or them but I'll stick to the food and other beverages from now on. The interior is pretty nice as well with lots of comfy seating and places to come together, or gather *wink* with others! Check it out! read more

Take this from a cafe layman: Gather is a quality cafe, especially when conscious of the alternatives Western Branch offers. Space, good coffee, conscientious service, clean bathrooms, it's an ideal study or reading environment. I'm there all the time. Starbucks lost my business as a student because Gather took it. The former "cafe" is more of a coffee conveyer belt and more power to them, but it's not what I'm looking for. read more

Nice place to meet friends for a sandwich, wrap, chips and guacamole. Coffee is good. Smoothies good- I don't like sugary drinks so I like that the smoothies are natural and not sweet. I have gone there a few times and the menu is too small for me to go frequently so I hope they expand it. I like to support this type of business so I hope that they continue to grow their menu options! read more

Pretty good place overall. They were a little pricey for what you get but the quality was good and it had a nice atmosphere. I had the avocado toast (comes with only 1 piece) and small iced caramel macchiato for a little over $10 but it all tasted good. read more

Delicious! What a cute little spot to study in, get some work done, or just have a chat with friends. The coffee was delicious and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had two lattes, the avocado toast, and a chocolate muffin. All to-go because we were just passing through but everything was packed well and fresh. Thanks for the yummy road trip goodies! OMG!!! I can't express how good my coffee was from here!! I travel for work so I've been to A LOT of coffee shops! This is far the best one I've been to!! Sadly I'm not sure of the drink I got but I told them what I wanted and they made it oh so good!!! And for once I actually felt the prices were spot on. The only thing I would suggest is to offer gluten free options. Especially in some kind of cake form! They did offer a gf Cracker thing. Sorry not sure of the name! The atmosphere is to die for. I could definitely see myself getting work done. From the coziest chairs to the best coffee, there's no reason not to GATHER here! read more

Realized I'm long overdue for a review here. This is easily the best coffee shop in the area. Everyone is really friendly! There is plenty of seating with a great environment. I love that the coffee shop supports a good cause. The food is excellent (I've tried several items & have never been disappointed. There are so many great options (vegan, gluten free, & healthy options too) with good portions & prices. Their coffee is always delicious & their tea is great too. They just added matcha to the menu as well which made my day! I've come here countless times & never had a bad experience. The only wish I would have is for extended hours in the evening because they close at 5 now. If you haven't tried this place out I'd definitely recommend it! Can't say enough good things about this place. :) read more

Stopped in for coffee and a bagel with my girls one Saturday morning on our way to target. The staff was super friendly, the coffee was perfect and the bagels were amazing. My girls loved the couches and chairs at the counter where they could sit and feel like grown ups (9&7, they also loved that they swiveled lol) would definitely stop by again! It would be the perfect spot for a coffee date too read more

I usually only get a drink or pastry. The service is amazing and the coffee is always made with love. The price is high but you get amazing coffee and service. I love that the menu changes and they make specialty drinks. It is also a nice place to dine, unwind, read, study, or just meet up with friends. Parking isn't the best so plan ahead on the most busy days. I always come here when I want to treat myself to fancy coffee or latte. read more

I ordered a giant # 16 which consists of grilled onions and peppers and white american cheese!. I asked if they could put extra onions on my #16 giant sub. No grilled peppers on my sub but I would like to have them on the side. They obliged me and started to make my sub. As soon as the sub making began I was given a slip yo take to the register so the cashier could ring up my order correctly. After a short while they said could they make another sub because one of the employees made a mistake and put grilled peppers on my sub. I said no big deal we all make mistakes from time to time but all you have to do is make it right with the customer and they made it right. I started to leave off a star because of it but I said to myself. " why would I do that because they made a slight error between them when preparing my sub "?... so five stars the the employees at Jersey Mike's subs!!!.. they also was kind enough to give me two tickets for a free chips and drink when ordering a sub, so again kudos to them for making the right sub wrong but in the same breath they made it right times 2!!!.. I will also add the fact that I was the only customer in the store gave off a very relaxed vibe which you hardly ever experience when there are other customers in the store! I will definitely be back here again because I really enjoyed the experience they gave me. Outstanding customer service, hands down!!!.. You know since leaving Brooklyn NY it has been hard to find a good sandwich and I will say this place has the next best thing! Here in the south they call them subs, when I first moved down here I was like 'what is a sub'? Because in Brooklyn it was called a "Hero"!!!.. so let's say Jersey Mike's has the best hero in the south!!!..

First, kudos to the super-friendly customers at this joint! When we arrived, all the tables were taken except for a high top. But guess what? A generous couple sitting at a bigger table offered theirs to us, knowing we had a little munchkin with us. Now, let's talk about the star of the show, the barista. This coffee wizard was a genius! She knew her stuff and recommended some fantastic options based on my tastes. I went for a mind-blowing coffee concoction called a popcorn latte, and let me tell you, it was pure deliciousness. I had a tough choice between a chicken salad sandwich and a French toast bagel, but I went for the bagel, and boy, was it out of this world! My sister opted for the sandwich and couldn't stop raving about how tasty it was. Oh, and they even had a soup and sandwich combo. The tomato bisque soup was unexpectedly fantastic. Funny story, we almost skipped the soup because we thought it was broccoli and cheddar, but the amazing cashier/waitress overheard us and brought a cup for us to try. Talk about going the extra mile! My favorite coffee shop! I come here almost weekly- enjoy one of their delicious breakfasts or lunches, sip on a Cafe Americano and catch up on any work or reading I need to do. The staff is always so friendly and they definitely know my face. It is a cozy, trendy atmosphere and they donate their proceeds to local charities! What's not to like about that? I'm so happy they opened because I am not a Starbucks fan and this give me a place to hang out and meet up with friends. read more

I just wanted to mention that had it not been for seeing it mentioned on here and on a neighborhood site..by just driving by (on my way to Lowes) like this morning I would not have known what it was. A shame that there is not anything on the signage as you are driving by that does not let you know what type of business it is. read more

And I'm really happy I did! I got a peaches and cinnamon iced latte this time and it was like a peach cobbler in a cup with real pieces of peach. They also had a bacon egg and cheese on a baguette, with a perfect omelette, american cheese, and thick crispy bacon very considerately cut into slabs so you aren't pulling out a whole strip every time you take a bite. Every part of that sandwich was perfectly-executed, from the butter-toasted baguette to the soft and fluffy texture of the omelette to the unusual but nicely crunchy addition of lettuce. What a great little place. Looking forward to dragging my wife out here next time :)

There were also a lot of drink options, including hot coffee, iced coffee, frozen coffee, and frozen drinks. I tried the Banana Pudding Iced Latte. It was good and honestly better than most banana-flavored drinks I've had, but I personally wanted more banana flavor to come through. It wasn't bad at all--I still drank the entire thing but I would've loved a stronger banana pudding flavor. The Strawberry Cheesecake Muffin was SO good. Soft, huge, and delicious. Definitely one of the highlights for us. No notes on that one! But let's talk about the SHRIMP & GRITS. I have another restaurant in Virginia Beach that has held my #1 spot for grits for a VERY long time. I've tried shrimp and grits all over Hampton Roads and even in other states, and nobody had really come close. Crave Bakery is officially neck and neck with them now. The flavor is completely different from my Virginia Beach favorite, which is why I can't necessarily say one is better than the other. They're just two very different takes on shrimp and grits and both are now at the top for me. The portion was pretty generous, too. We split one bowl and were still super full afterward. The shrimp and grits were hot and flavorful, and flavor-wise, I have no notes. My only personal preference was the consistency. I like my grits a little thicker, while these were more on the loose/creamy side. My sister actually thought the consistency was perfect, so that's definitely just a personal preference and not really a criticism. We also tried a couple of cookies. We had the lemon cookie and a ginger molasses cookie. The lemon cookie itself was good, but we weren't crazy about the icing on top. It was very sweet and, to us, felt unnecessary because the cookie was already sweet enough. We would've preferred the cookie without the icing. The ginger molasses cookie was the biggest miss for us. And this one is interesting because I actually like ginger molasses cookies! I've had one from another bakery before and really enjoyed it, and I also like ginger snaps. This particular cookie was just molasses, and neither of us liked it. So I'm not sure if it's simply that this particular cookie wasn't for us, or if the ginger molasses cookies I've had in the past were more ginger which is why I liked them. Either way, this one wasn't our favorite. Customer service was nice, and we didn't have any issues during our visit. Overall, the shrimp & grits and strawberry cheesecake muffin were definitely the standouts for me. The bakery is cute, clean, has a good variety of food and drinks, and I absolutely loved the self-order kiosk. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu and honestly, I need those shrimp and grits again.

Another 10+, too long in my opinion my name was called for coffee pick up. At that point most of my load had been eaten. The coffee was pretty good, not blowing me away.
