Before I begin let me start off by saying that this review is solely based on my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, now that my disclaimer is mentioned let us begin!. I been here to this location last week but unfortunately I forgot to check in, but I made sure that was the first thing I did this time. As soon I walked in I was greeted immediately by the staff on duty,meanwhile I was checking in so I didn't forget on this trip!. This was the first time I walked in any type of business and I was the only customer in there, my last visit was kind of chaotic because the store was jam packed with customers. Lucky I knew exactly what I wanted so I was quick on the draw when they asked what they could get started for me. It felt like I was the very first customer when they first opened up for the day because all the customer service was given to me, probably because I was the only one in there at the time, but nevertheless I enjoyed the brief moment of customer care!. I ordered a giant # 16 which consists of grilled onions and peppers and white american cheese!. I asked if they could put extra onions on my #16 giant sub. No grilled peppers on my sub but I would like to have them on the side. They obliged me and started to make my sub. As soon as the sub making began I was given a slip yo take to the register so the cashier could ring up my order correctly. After a short while they said could they make another sub because one of the employees made a mistake and put grilled peppers on my sub. I said no big deal we all make mistakes from time to time but all you have to do is make it right with the customer and they made it right. I started to leave off a star because of it but I said to myself. " why would I do that because they made a slight error between them when preparing my sub "?... so five stars the the employees at Jersey Mike's subs!!!.. they also was kind enough to give me two tickets for a free chips and drink when ordering a sub, so again kudos to them for making the right sub wrong but in the same breath they made it right times 2!!!.. I will also add the fact that I was the only customer in the store gave off a very relaxed vibe which you hardly ever experience when there are other customers in the store! I will definitely be back here again because I really enjoyed the experience they gave me. Outstanding customer service, hands down!!!.. You know since leaving Brooklyn NY it has been hard to find a good sandwich and I will say this place has the next best thing! Here in the south they call them subs, when I first moved down here I was like 'what is a sub'? Because in Brooklyn it was called a "Hero"!!!.. so let's say Jersey Mike's has the best hero in the south!!!.. read more

Ordered a footlong sub that I wanted them to delay making it for an hour. Got there an hour later. The female staff member was rude. She was more interested in the conversation with her male co-worker. Got my sub home and it tasted like they made it an hour ago. Bread was crusty! No moisture at all! They put enough lettuce on it to halfway fill a small taco! Think I won't be going back! I'll stick with Firehouse, Zero's and Subway. read more

This place doesn't seem well managed. They were almost completely out of bread when we went in there. The sandwich counter was so messy and kind of gross to look at. There was flies on the meat slicer. All of the tables were dirty. The customer service wasn't terrible but none of the people at the front counter had good people skills. 3 sandwiches, no bacon. The two cubs didn't have any lettuce, tomatoes, nothing but meat and cheese on bread. My Italian was perfect and so good but if the wife and two of the kids get bread meat and cheese it's pretty hard to justify $80 for 5 sandwiches ($100 if it's delivery ). read more

My Club Sub yesterday was very good - my roll was fresh and the ham, turkey and all the toppings, all together, was delicious! My jalapeños chips and my root beer soda was delicious, too! Tried Jersey Mike's for the first time today and can't say I was impressed. My husband and I came in around 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon and we were the only customers in the store. Immediately when you walk in you noticed all of the leaves and debris on the floor and many of the table tops were dirty. Luckily, the kitchen area looked maintained so we decided to order. My husband ordered a chicken bacon ranch and I got the meatball. Our food was good but it was unsettling eating them on a sticky table with trash at our feet. I could maybe understand if they were super busy, but to have the place that dirty and be the only customers is unacceptable in my eyes. read more

I got the Original Italian: provolone, ham, prosciutto, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni. The sub was good. I liked the red wine vinegar since I have a preference for sour flavor. I was not a fan of the bread, too soft and fell flat in a sense. read more

This Jersey Mike's is the absolute worst one. They are never busy, but I have ordered from this one at least 5 times and they have NEVER gotten the order right. Don't bother ordering Rosemary Parmesan bread. They have it, but for some reason they're unable to read. I've visited the store in person and ordered before as well, and they were literally getting the order wrong as I was telling them. Both of the people making my sandwich. They had to remake it twice and I had to keep correcting them as they made it. If you want a REAL Jersey Mike's sub, make the trip to the one on College Drive. I don't know who runs the Chesapeake Square location, but they should be fired. read more

Today I tried a chicken bacon ranch with baked lays as part of my birthday meal which included a drink and reg sub for free . My sub was made fresh and cheese was nice and melted.tge bacon was crispy and the bread was not toasted like I would like it but it hold all the juices from the meat which was nice . I wish I could eat here because I love their subs but it's so dirty inside and out that I don't feel safe doing so. Their aprons are filthy! The Food is Execellent but the Customer Service is absolutely horrible. Just Moved to the area, I had never been to Jersey Mike's before. I assumed it was like Subway. When I ordered and begin to say lettuce, mayo.. The Manager quickly interrupted me with a Oh No I don't do that wait until you get down there for that. Extremely rude. The second time, I went with Husband and he too said the atmosphere in here is very uneasy. So we agreed we would order online, 3rd times a charm right!? Wrong went to pick up my order asked could I switch the Mountain Dew to a Gatorade the Manager huffed and puffed and sighed so loud. I was completely blown away and told him don't even bother. Empty for good reason: manager's been eating each time while tables remain unbussed and dirty, and staff of four is idle. If you don't like your job, staff, get back on the porch. This is my second time eating jersey mikes and each time has been at this location! Very tasty. I have ordered the chicken philly each time! I will say my first visit was a lot better than my visit today. The first time a young, outgoing man took my order and a young tall women made my food and I had exceptional customer service, hospitality, and delicious food! They even told me about the jersey mikes shore points and signed me up.They made sure to go over each item with me so I would be pleased with my order and they took time to throughly cook the chicken. however my second visit, I opened the door I was the only customer in they all just looked at me. I was not greeted. Didn't ask me for the shore points or even see if I had any. I had to remind the employees about that so I could get my points. Then as I ate my chicken philly there were a couple of mushrooms in my food!!! I strongly dislike mushrooms and thankfully I wasn't allergic to them because they were added in my philly when I most definitely did not order them. Couldn't leave negative star count so I'll try to make it short. This is the nastiest, most poorly managed mikes location I have ever encountered. Piss poor attitudes, rude staff, and a sorry excuse of a manager. Wait over an hour for an order to finally be told they didn't have items to fulfill the order. Three of four subs are old and cold but will only refund one not made. Cannot cancel and refund order. I guess they also couldn't find a mop or broom to clean the place up. Manager has excuses, poor as they may be, but none the less stands by his loser employees that can't figure out the "art" of making a damned sandwich. Was a loyal mikes customer until today. Got a Mike's chicken Philly. When I opened it up all I saw was bread. I honestly thought they forgot to put the chicken, onions, peppers, and cheese. I go to open up the sandwich, there's less than a cup of meat and veggies, not even 1/2 cup. Called and spoke to Manager John. He said he would make another one. Go back to Jersey Mikes and he inspects the sandwich and says "that's how much meat is in their chicken phillys, the chicken phillys are always smaller than the steak phillys due to them having lettuce and tomato". The chicken philly does not come with lettuce and tomato per what their menu says. Anyone getting a sub here, don't get the chicken philly. They're going at smaller than the steak philly according to Manager John. read more

These are the best subs at this location. I have been to other JM but it is something different here. The customer service is wonderful, the subs taste fresh, the bread is soft and soaks up all that oil and vinegar with oregano. I had the chipotle chicken Philly. The chicken and chipotle sauce was delicious however the bread was kind a chewy and tough. If it had not been sooo late when came in and had not made it all the way home I would have taken the sub back. I will give them another try and hopefully the bread will be fresher and not hard and chewy. read more

On September the second, at approximately 1400 hours, I called and talked with "rachael" placing an order for a giant big kahuna (wheat: half without onions and jalapeño and the other half normal). I specifically asked if it could be wrapped as two regulars. Heck, I should have asked for two regulars to make sure. However, she read the order back to me. Thus, I felt it would be okay. When I arrived I paid for my order $18.89 for the two subs and a cup for water. I was handed one sub without any markings details which half or wrapped separate. I asked and was told it was wrapped as a single, I mentioned a food allergy. They (White young blond girl on the slicer and white young guy on grill) told me I should have specified at ordering, and to pound sand. That is why I asked for it wrapped as two regulars and had it read back to me. I know working in food customers can suck. However, I expected better from Jersey Mike's as a former employee. If I had not already paid for it I would have thrown it away in the store. Instead I took it home to see if it was made correctly, it was not. For someone to take this much time out of their day to send messages or comment about an issue. It must have been pretty bad read more

Normally the subs are a little soggy. I guess they fixed by serving stale bread. Bread was hard as a rock. Your location is on a down slide. May want to change your management. Not coming back. I'll spend a few extra minutes in the car and go to College Dr!!! read more

So let me start out by saying I've worked at jersey mike's, hubby has, and several members of hubby's family have worked at the corporate office and his aunt still does so our standards are high. The service at this location was a bit slow and we went at the end of the night and the bread was hard. There was a younger kid working and he did a good job. I'm originally from Tonawanda NY and I grew up with Mikes subs, the taste was fantastic! Needless to say I've eaten many subs literally all over the world, this was my second visit to jersey Mikes meeting my daughter in law,son, and Grandaughter for lunch.It was like traveling back to NewYork fresh rolls, fresh veggies, premium roast beef an wonderful cheese made up a perfect sub add in their vinegar mix and it was just one of the best subs I've ever eaten.
