This was a horrible experience. They have the exact same website when you google as the downtown location but they don't indicate that they are in northern suffolk. I put in an order and realized that they were over 30 mins from me. Called and asked if they could refund my order and cancel it and they said no but asked if I was coming before they made the food. To be clear the food was not made at this time. I asked that they reverse my charges since I paid via the website (the proprietary webpage; not DoorDash or similar). They told me no they can't refund my charges. I drove to the far away location because I wasn't going to just pay for and not eat over $100 worth of food. When I arrived they hadn't made my food and I had to sign my purchase receipt so I don't understand how they wouldn't have been able to refund my account! Really unprofessional service. Don't you see the sign, then he says how do I know that that's not your hair and I say I'm a grown man why would I put my own hair in some food and bring it back to the store I said I just spent the last 10 minute throwing up the rest of the food I ate and he says just get out of the store. It's nothing we can do nothing we can do is no money here. That's why I stopped eating out at places anyway so eat at your own risk wherever you go!!!! if you're not at home, but long strands of black hair was in my food and its not my hair!! He told me that he wouldn't be able to refund me any money and that I needed to get out because it was nothing anyone could do for me but he could remake it..... child cheese who I look like you not about remake anything for me you can refill my money to my card!! - Disappointing First and Last Visit I was really looking forward to trying America's Best Wings on College Drive in Suffolk after hearing good things, especially about their lamb over rice bowl. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but positive. When I arrived and placed my order, I simply asked for the salad toppings to be placed on the side. To my surprise, the employee told me they couldn't accommodate that--and instead suggested I order a completely separate side salad. I clarified my request again, thinking maybe there was a misunderstanding, but was told they didn't have any extra containers to put the toppings on the side. Really? A restaurant that serves wings, salads, and even desserts doesn't have a single spare container? Even the meal I ordered was going to be served in a container--were they down to their last one? I even offered to pay an extra charge if needed, but it was clear they had no interest in making a simple customer request work. It felt less like a policy issue and more like an unwillingness to be helpful. At that point, I decided to cancel my order and take my business elsewhere. We went two days in a row. The first night, I didn't eat anything, but my friend had the 10-piece lemon pepper wing combo. He loved the wings, but the fries were cold. So, today (4/4/21), we went back for me. I ordered the 5-piece Old Bay wings, all drums. I was so excited to try them. To my surprise, they were old & dry, and it was only 12:15 pm. For them to have opened at 11 am, it makes no sense to be giving out that kind of food. On top of that, we tried calling my order in & they picked up but didn't say a word. We waited awhile & then hung up and called back. Voicemail!!!! We called the 2nd number on their door...voicemail. So, we ended up going inside to order/wait on those nasty wings. I really enjoyed my Hot teriyaki wings, fries, and sweet tea. Everything came out hot, and I like how they have seasoning on the counter you can to your fries. The staff seemed preoccupied and not very social, but they had my food come out quickly so all is good! This restaurant over charged me. I ordered a chicken wrap combo meal. Normally $14 or so. The next day I was looking at my bank account because money was missing. I was charged $63.52! I went to get a refund and they apparently processed my refund. This happened Sept. 8. It is now Oct. 3 and I have yet to receive the $50.03 that was promised to me for my refund. Not all America's best wings are created equal. With that being said, I have been to this location several times hoping for a different outcome. I appreciate the variety, quick service, somewhat reasonable price although continues to go up often. A huge plus is they have so many flavors and different food options that you can get something for the entire family. If you go here for wings alone then set your expectations low. There are many other places in the area that have better wings. I'm convinced the reason they're able to get your order out so quickly is because they have a bunch of wings sitting in the back already fried that have likely been sitting out. I can't confirm this but a few times I've been it seems as though the wings were reheated instead of freshly fried. There is usually enough parking outside. The food is good usually but lemonade and tea taste like was used to make mop water. service is so bad, made a pick up order almost 2 hours before closing and when coming in to pick up my order was greeted with eye rolls and rude stares. Was never properly greeted or even felt welcomed, if it was for my food already being made I would've walked out at risk of getting my food spat in. I stop by this location every Thursday afternoon. I order my usual (Lemon Pepper wings) 20 pieces. The front cashier/guy seems to always have an attitude I figured he must be new. The previous staff were always kind and polite. I can barely understand his broken English and he's annoyed when you ask him to repeat what he is saying. I always ask them not to fry them hard. They are always fried hard. This was three consecutive visits in a row. I'm done, I'll take my business elsewhere. The flavor and freshness is just not what it used to be. Chicken so dry and pieces much smaller. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Out of order sign has been on restroom door for a year or more. Really sad. When calling in an order over the phone they will talk to other people in the store and take orders while trying to take yours and not even ask you to hold, then get mad and talk over you when your order is incorrect.
