Excellent seafood supply, fresh off the boat, chemical free!…read more Great service, great prices and fresh. It is not a market, you have to get around the building near the dock for sales. The fleet is docked right there. My go to seafood supply for whatever they have in stock. Wonderful candy store for seafood lovers.

From the owner: B&C Seafood, Inc. was founded in February of 2001 by William "Bill" Mullis. Our original purpose…read morewas to purchase and sell catches from offshore fishing vessels owned by Bill Mullis and his long time friend and fishing partner, Charles Olsovsky, as well as other vessels. B&C currently has an in house fleet of 9 fishing vessels. The main fishery being that of Atlantic Sea Scallops. Bill and his brother, Ed Mullis are both past employees of Sea Rich Seafood formally based out of New Bedford Massachusetts. The brothers functioned as buyers for Sea Rich in the mid Atlantic region, creating many relationships buying from vessels directly while establishing a broad distribution base for a large variety of products. B&C Seafood is operated today by Bill's brother, Ed Mullis and has a unique position in the marketplace of a health conscious global population. We provide our customers with direct access to the finest quality sea scallops as well as other seafood available in the market. Our seafood has remained in high demand based on a long term reputation for some of the highest quality "off the boat" product in the business.

It took us 10 months to purchase some seafood from Captain Harrells, but we did it today! I wanted…read moreto pick a time that it was not crazy crowded. I wanted time to read the board and learn how they are operating due to covid. I loved their set up. You pull up, park and get out of your car to look at the whiteboard menu closer. Once you know what you would like, head to the door and knock. Someone will open the door and take your order. So simple! TIP: CASH AND CHECK ONLY! Today I had a sweet lady take my order and package it all up. She wore a mask the entire time, as so did we. She was helpful at showing us what a deviled crab looked like, and help explain other items. I really appreciate that she took the time to do that. It makes me want to come back and purchase more when businesses do that. There was also an older gentleman inside enjoying a crab cake sandwich. He had the biggest sweetest smile ever. He was a happy a can be with that sandwich, and I was definitely jealous! The crab cakes were delicious. I'm making something with the meat on Friday. Just not sure what yet. Another little bit of information, they have a restaurant that opened a few months ago. They have good food! It is just down the street near the Food Lion.

TASTE has quickly become one of my absolute favorite spots in Suffolk. I've loved just about…read moreeverything I've tried on the menu, and this visit was no exception. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon after church and ordered the chicken salad sandwich (Freemason). Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. When the weather's nice, I always try to grab a seat on the patio. It's such a relaxing spot to enjoy a good meal and soak up a little sunshine. Also, I have to shout out their potato salad is one of the best around. Creamy, just the right amount of seasoning, and always hits the spot. TASTE is the kind of place that makes you proud to support a growing local chain. Great food, great atmosphere, and always a solid experience.

Taste is an old staple in our area, one that was much better before Covid, than it is currently…read more I was feeling peckish and so my sweet husband of 51 years thought... "Let's go to Taste!" Based on visits over the past 5 years, which have been spaced further and further apart, I was hesitant. And my hesitancy proved to have been warranted. Husband's Northender on Multi grain My Princess Anne also on multi grain. Bread was so dry and stale that I simply struggled to eat the filling. The tomatoes were that hard, white inner core that most people would not feature on a sandwich. Finally in frustration I walked up and asked for a slice of baguette, which was the main meal's only redemption. Let's not even talk about what has become barely a step up from snack pack desserts. Both my (Bakehouse--oh my gosh, are they kidding?) gold brownie and my husband's blueberry mishmash had one bite from them before they too went straight into the trash. (Both tasted more of chemical, than of food) Sadly, what used to be one of our favorite weekly visits pre-Covid, has become less than lackluster, and far from its name. Rather it should be renamed yet again, from the original, Taste Unlimited, to Taste and now should be called, Tasteless. For the price of $50, one would think the meal would at least be edible. Hopefully this review will help me remember why we stopped going. Definitely do not recommend.
