The restaurant side is spacious and the fish market offers a variety of fresh seafood and select frozen meats. I ordered the fried Cajun catfish with collard greens and Mac and cheese. It was a little pricey $19. But you did receive 2 big pieces of fish and small servings of the sides. The Mac and cheese was lacking flavor and so did the greens. It took a lot of salt and pepper. Well we came back with family twice and they both liked it here! You can't beat the prices and quality of food on the restaurant side. The soft shell crab and fried shrimp are big hits. It's slightly muggy inside but the giant fans help keep it cool. But I wish they would fix their soda and tea machines. I normally grab and go from the seafood market here. This particular day I set out to sit in and eat, all I wanted was a crabcake sandwich. Walked in and realize that AYCE blue crabs was happening. I quickly pivoted and intended to do the all you can eat crabs. Then I pivoted back. We had gone here after a long morning of golf, and I wanted to make my way home at some point. So we ended up ordering 2 platters. Hubs had catfish, with Mac & collards, and I crabcake, fried shrimp, baked beans and fries. All platters come with hush puppies. My total for 2 platters was $45. Food came out and it was fresh, nothing overly saturated in oil. The catfish and the shrimp was the best. The crabcake was just ok. I'm not use to fried crabcakes, and it was also backfin instead of jumbo lump. We ate and afterwards I made my way over to the seafood market where they were having a sale on crab meat. Buy 2 get one free, so of course I had to oblige. The service was ok, you order at the counter, then have a seat and the food is brought out to you. The ambiance was very hustle and bustle, old school seafood restaurant decor, nothing fancy. We ate and rolled out shortly after the AYCE customers started rolling in. I ordered a three-way fried seafood dinner containing 3scallops 3shrimp fried and 3oysters with 2 sides and hush puppies. The price was $21. It was a bit high but oysters and scallops were the drawl. To my horror when I opened it what was inside? the oysters, two of them were as small as my pinky finger, shriveled up, mostly a breaded lump of not acceptable. The third oyster was a little bit larger than the other two small ones. These all were extra small oysters. I don't even know why somebody would even cook oysters of this size or put them on a menu in their restaurant. I'm glad I opened up the clam shell to see what the food was like before I left. I respectfully requested to have my money returned. That was no problem the girl who waited on me, gladly and very nicely did the job. But I must say that the other woman that was behind the counter just kept ignoring me. I had to 3x for someone to help me as she ignored me and didn't call anybody in the back to help. She was too busy moaning and groaning while she was waiting with the other people to take their order. at some point move. While she's sitting there doing nothing and waiting for people to decide what they want, you could have gone into the back and said, "can someone help this lady she's not happy with her order." It was only about four steps for her to do that. I just was not happy with her, the way she just sat there and kept brushing me off when I asked her, "how can I get this fixed?" She did nothing I was the one that had to call to the people that were way in the back in the seafood market. I wanted some oysters I went to the grocery store and bought a half pint of oysters 9 in the container for $8.99 and I fried up my own and they were big oysters and I will not go back to this establishment. read more

The seafood selection was great, but I wouldn't recommend letting them cook it for you... We purchased a few pounds of shrimp and were offered the option to have them steamed on the spot. We thought, "Why not?" but that turned out to be a huge mistake. The shrimp were extremely overcooked, dry, shriveled, and rubbery to the point where the shells practically fell off on their own. There was no flavor left whatsoever and the texture was so tough that not even a generous amount of sauce could save them. Very disappointed. read more

The initial girl helping at the register was friendly and helpful...that about the only thing I can say positive about our experience. First the credit card reader froze so then they offered a discount for cash. I paid $73.26 for a kids clam strip, adult clam strip meal, fried shrimp meal, and a pick 3 and I chose a crab cake, broiled shrimp and broiled flounder. My 8-year old was so excited to try clams for the first time so when he instantly spit them out and said they were gross I thought it was just him not liking them. Then I tried them and couldn't even chew them! I know clams can be tough, but this surpassed tough...they were absolutely disgusting!! My sons were awful, then my mother's full meal was rubber bands too! She complained to the younger girl at the counter and asked for popcorn shrimp as a replacement because the clams were so terrible. My broiled fish was bland and over cooked, the crab cake was okay but my first bite had a big piece of shell in it, and the broiled shrimp was decent. My dad's fried shrimp was okay, not overly seasoned and the French fries were good. Mac n cheese was over cooked and mushy. Collared greens were very tart and salty. We ended up throwing the majority of our food in the garbage. But the WORST part of the visit was when we spoke the the manager-an old white woman with a bright pink hairnet- she basically told us that the clams can be tough if they were frozen then asked the cooks if the clams were frozen and they said they were "fresh". Then she said oh well to us. She never offered to make it right, never even apologized for the poor dining experience, didn't offer a refund, and was borderline rude, she acted like it was our fault our food was disgusting!! I love supporting local, but I will never go back here! And on top of it all, we went to the restaurant because our intention was to buy seafood for Christmas. Went here for dinner on Dec. 18th. Worst food ever!! We basically spent $70+ on our dinners only to throw the bulk of our food in the trash. The only thing decent were the popcorn shrimp and fries. When I spoke to manager, she basically could have cared less that we were VERY disappointed. The only one who acted appropriately was the young girl working the counter who was was very apologetic and told us to speak to manager. I have worked in the food service industry and the fact that the manager acted the way she did and never even asked what she could do to make it right is NOT how you treat customers. There's a casual sit down restaurant where you order then grab a number and they bring the food to you or a to go option. I only gave this one star because the young lady that I spoke with when I called to inquire about why my Poboy was served in this manner was very nice, very understanding, and very professional. For the likes of me, I cannot understand why the manager or head cook would not address me directly versus speaking to me through, the young lady who answered the phone. Graham and Rollins is always my go-to stop for fresh seafood. Mostly caught local seafood is fresh and sold at a reasonable price. You can get any and everything seafood. Things that are not caught fresh locally are shipped in fresh from other regions, and it too is fresh like it was caught nearby. When you come here, be aware the floor is a little slippery and wet, so wear a pair of shoes with good bottoms. Also, ask questions, and they will go out of their way to serve you and get what you want. Don't limit yourself by thinking they don't have something. You can buy the fish whole they will clean and filet it for you at no additional price. If you are really in the mood, step next door to their restaurant, make yourself comfortable, and have dinner - you can thank me later for that tip. The only thing about the restaurant is it could use a little attention. Very old and outdated. All seafood togo is packed in ice to keep it nice and cold until you reach your destination. Visited for the first time and will be back! Came for my grandmothers birthday and it was a unique family environment where you get your own drinks and condiments and pick where you want to sit. You are able to order your food at register and then they give you a number to place at your table and they bring your food to you. It was 3 of us and we ordered a fish sandwich which came with 2 big pieces of fish and then a platter of 3 and shared for about $45 with an additional side and drink added on. I ordered crab legs on the other side for us after picking 2 frozen bags from freezer. They steamed them and brought them to table as well and paid about $50 for them. Highly suggest asking for very light seasoning to avoid being too salty or having them place on side. There was a server same who took our order at register bring food and boxes and asked if we needed anything. Another possible manager not sure just came by to visit table and it was very sweet! Had a cousin visiting from out of town that love loves blue crabs which I don't so I looked on line and found good reviews about this place. As I got closer I was getting mad because I had been there before when it was Hampton seafood but I was pleasantly surprised. Prices were good and customer service was fast and friendly. My cousin got a boatload of crabs and had them streamed she's been eating them for 2 hours and I had a couple too. I liked the spicy seasonings and we got a few bags of just crablegs. I got a nice bag of fresh shrimp to fry and do a garlic scampi. I also got a lot of pretty whitnies fish for sandwiches and coleslaw. They also had Louisiana tarter sauce which is hard to find. I have been eating here since I was a child. Seriously, I can remember when Big Lamont was the waiter (in the 90s) and when Ms. Pearlie made the food. My parents can remember when this establishment was owned by Mr. John Mallory Phillips. Yes, this place is very nostalgic and is a gem within the Hampton community. They're famous for their crab cakes. Little known fact, but Hampton was once called Crabtown because it was the crab capital of the world! Today, Hamptonians still love this tasty crustacean and the history it brings to this coastal area. Back to the crab cakes - they're to die for! I mean, please don't die, but they're really, really good. The food here is always delicious and although the restaurant always reeks of fish and seafood, don't be discouraged (they have the fresh seafood on one side and the restaurant on the other), the food is BANGING! I was here to grab lunch for my parents over the weekend and the service was fast and the food was great. When I arrived at lunch the parking lot was crowded in what seemed to be a dirty hole in the wall shop of some sort. I saw platter after platter of crabs and other delicacies being delivered to the socioeconomically diverse patrons. She brought me my food and made sure I was all set. The crab cake was delicious! It was very flavorful and was worth the trip. The flounder was just okay to me and I needed tartar sauce to eat it. I don't eat a lot of fried fish but when I do I like the batter to be seasoned a bit. The greens also lacked seasoning but I added hot sauce to them and they were fine. The mac and cheese redeemed the sides because it was really good and cheesy. The combo with a drink was about $17 which isn't bad for fresh seafood. All you can eat blue crabs on a Sunday what more can you ask for???? This past Sunday they had their all you can eat crabs event. They bring the crabs out on a tray and when you're ready for another round just let the waitress know. All of my crabs were meaty and good. They were not crowded it was a nice comfortable place.
