I called in a togo order at Wings Way. It took about 15 minutes. When i walked in the owner greeted me. Shes so nice. Theres a small seating area and its clean inside. Its pretty quiet in there. They have a deal for $28 with 10 wings, 10 oysters or 10 shrimp with fries. They also sell cheesecake and cake at the front. They have several sauces to choose from. I got wings way sauce which is sweet n spicy. Theres also blue cheese and ranch for $.50 each. I wanted the shrimp because it was my safe zone, but i got the oysters for some reason. The ride home was unpleasant because it smelled rank. My stomach was doing flips. Those oysters didn't smell good at all. They may not have been old or anything. I forced myself to eat one and it tasted like it smelled... I threw them away.. I didn't wanna suffer later.. Smh. The wings and fries were good though. I did like the sauce. Would have rated higher but it is not nice when a restaurant says it's open until 8pm and they seemed close at 7:50, with the hostess having her scarf, hat and jacket on ready to go! I called at 7:10pm to order wings and asked how many minutes before the order is ready and they told me 20 minutes. I arrived just in the parking lot at 7:45pm and the lights are dimmed as if they're closed. I then parked the car to use my phone in bewilderment as to what went wrong. There's this voicemail waiting for me where they indicated they were closing and that voicemail was at 7:30pm! So I immediately called them back, with 10 minutes before advertised closed time. I told them I was in the parking lot so they said they'll wait. They showed me the fries and the wings in the carry out boxes. Quite frankly, looking at how little the amount of fries were, I swear they probably thought I wasn't coming , maybe started to dig into them??? Quite the possibility! And the fries were on the more than delectable yellowish hue, they were about to be burned if not rescued from the fryer in a second or two! The only saving grace were the wings. It takes some patience to come here. Most of the time though- it's completely worth it. Don't skip the fried green beans! They have a variety of great appetizers and the wings are huge. Get your airfryer ready for leftovers or watch what you order- it's super easy to get carried away. I love that they have a huge variety of sauces. If you're getting it to go they are happy to put your sauces on the side so your wings stay crispy longer and you can toss it all up when you get home. The prices are a little high (quality though) and the wait feels a little longer than other popular wing places in the area. I just knew these wings were going to be good when I saw that they put them in an aluminum pan and covered them with aluminum foil. The local business is owned by an older Korean couple that have operated it 4 years. The chicken is fresh, never frozen. They offer a variety of flavors for the wings. Also sides such as shrimp, fried pickles and even offer dessert. I was greeted my the female owner who was super friendly and helpful albeit a bit challenging to understand with heavy accent. My order a dozen honey BBQ w/ side of fries for the dining room. Paired with a bottle of Mountain Dew. There is an up charge on ranch and blue cheese of 50 cents. You can ask ask for sauce on the side and if traveling a bit for a to go I would recommend this method. The honey bbq was downright tasty and it is a signature flavor. The chicken was meaty, fresh and crispy. The crinkle fries were cooked crispy and seasoned correctly. They do have a unisex restroom in the rear. I found it immaculately clean with proper supplies. Well I have decided to try out this place with help of our yelpers. Yes it was a tiny joint in Timberlake shopping center on Holland. Place seemed very clean. It's owned and operated by a korean family HOWEVER don't come asking for bonchon style chicken... I know, I know. I've asked them myself more than once. But, to make up for it, they do offer a huge variety of flavors as well as shrimp. It's a tiny establishment, with only a handful of tables and seats so it's pretty evident it's more of a take-out place. But you totally could enjoy your meal here. Canned drinks are in the cold fridge up front as well as some individual desserts, however I've never tasted any of the desserts. I recommend ordering ahead of time, roughly 25-30 mins depending on your order size, AND requesting SAUCE OFF (on the side) so that wings remain crispy until you arrive home. This visit, my crinkle fries were not that enjoyable. They seemed to be a little undercooked. I prefer my fries super crispy and brown. They were a bit pale and still soft so my dog got lucky and got to munch on a few of those. My favorite sauces so far are Lemon Pepper, Wings Way, and Tangy Soy. I think this wing restaurant will be my boyfriend's & I go to from now on. Service was great, wait time is bearable considering everything is cooked to order. Based on the quality and quantity of food we received, I feel like the pricing is fair. We split a 12 piece, half lemon pepper, half regular whole wing meal (If I'm not mistaken, fries are included with every wing meal), and a delicious chocolate cheesecake. Price total: $21.70. The entire meal was a 10/10, and I am extremely picky when it comes to food. I'm not sure if they offer military discounts, but I will be sure to update when I find out. I apologize but I didn't realize I never finished this review so been awhile since our visit.... details are a bit fuzzy. I do recall us both agreeing that the wings were great. The thing we probably would prefer next time is less sauce on them. The garlic parmesan was perfect but the wingsway was soaked in sauce....a bit much for us. There's fries with every order, although I get full easily if I eat them first. I like how they have seafood too. We have tried the round shrimp and it's not bad and has light breading as well. Sometimes I walk in, and the cheesecake on display is just staring at me. They have cheesecake btw. I get tempted every time but thankfully I get in and out when I come to pick up my order. I placed an order over the phone and the nice lady on the other end said it would be ready in about 15-20 minutes. I arrived about 15 mins later and was kindly greeted by an older lady employee. She was extremely kind and had a smile on her face the entire time I conversed with her. I had to wait an additional 10 mins or so before my food was ready. I wasn't entirely sure if there was another order ahead of me, but the wings took long to be prepared than I thought; potentially due to the wings being fried to order which I really appreciated it. They have a few small tables in the restaurant, but I think this place is more suitable as a take out place. I got the 12 wings with fries and got three sauces: wings way, garlic Parmesan, and mango express. When I got home I noticed the wings were just slightly bigger than your normal wings from like a pizza joint. They advertise "JUMBO WINGS" on their site so I was expecting something substantially larger; but they did make up for it by adding at least 4 additional wings to my order. The wings were fried perfectly and were juicy and tasty. My favorite sauce was the garlic Parmesan and was a great addition to my wings (I requested the sauce to be on the side).
