Definitely better sandwiches than every major chain out there, only 4 stars for not being able to sit down an eat at the location.

My favorite place to get subs by far! It's always on point. The pepperoni is a classic and my go to.

No meatball, no Swiss cheese, kinda rude staff, added onions when I didn't want them. All around bad experience. Won't be going back

I remember eating from this place years ago but I couldn't recall if it was very good or not good…read morebut in my mind I said it must be very good cuz it's coming to mind. As a result, my husband and I went by here yesterday to pick up two large pizzas for a pizza party we were having for my aunt who's celebrating another birthday. Happy birthday Aunt Donna! Nevertheless, we arrived about 3:30p 3:45p on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all. My husband was able to walk in order two pizzas and we were in and out and about 20-25 minutes. We drove another 15 minutes to the house before we began to dive into the pizza. We ordered the thin crust with only pepperoni and oh my gosh it was so good!! Again we attended a pizza party and this was the best pizza hands down out of I think six places people brought pizza from this was the first to go so good so fresh! I love thin crust highly recommend you check out Rita's if you haven't before. The parking no issue at all and you don't necessarily need to call it in either you can just walk up order your pizza and get it in a reasonable amount of time. It's located in a shopping center in Portsmouth so you have other shops that you can browse around well not necessarily shop, but I believe there is a brewery next door but your time will not be wasted while waiting for this goodness! Have fun and enjoy life :)

I was a lot closer than I thought so I waited for my pizza. If you don't want to wait there Momac brewery is next door......just saying. There is no dining, take out only. It is old school for sure.....nothing fancy. Loved it. They got my order done fast and right. I took it home and everyone liked the pizza. It's a thinner crust and I enjoyed the pizza. Perfectly cooked. The Greek Salad was good but I have had better. Very basic with canned olives and iceburg. Good enough. I would order again when I am at my moms and she is wanting a pizza with peppers and onions. It's also reasonably priced and they do have some carry out specials.

This is THE spot for locals in the Portsmouth area. It's no surprise you see reviews from patrons who drive from all over the Hampton Roads area to visit this gem! Service is so friendly and you can tell it is a TEAM! I sat at the bar so got to watch the open kitchen in action. Their system is down pat and you can tell everyone enjoys working with each other. Each dish I watched from prep to service was handled with meticulous care. PRIDE IN WORK AT ITS FINEST! Everyone works to serve you as a team as well, no worry about "bothering" another member of the staff for something, everyone wants you to enjoy your meal. I can tell there are a lot of local regulars as the staff was engaged on a level you only see when your clientele is consistent and have a vested interest in the success of the business. I've been to 16 countries and travelled all over the states, this is truly one of the most friendly establishments I've had the pleasure of being hosted at. On to the food! I see a few people complain about the small menu, that is the SMARTEST thing a business can do. Focus on what you're good at and demolish the competition. High Street Pizza and Pour delivers on this. My eyes were bigger than my stomach so I ordered the meatballs, the special for their pizza pie of the night (a pork belly, red onion, jalapeño, bbq drizzle dream boat of a pie), a tiramisu and two cocktails. The food in pictures looked smaller than in person... omg I ordered for about 4-5 people! But everyone was soooo good. Meatballs were tender with a fantastic red sauce. Pizza had a crispy buttery crust and the pork belly was rendered perfectly. Tiramisu was fantastic (not sure if that's an in house make or pre done, but it was on point), and the cocktails were perfectly poured with just the right amount of liquor. I left with probably two meals worth of takeout the portions were so large and I can't wait until I'm hungry again. I'm new to the neighborhood and as everyone knows, you need to find your fav local spot to frequent. I'm proud to report, High Street Pizza and Pour House has just taken that spot!

They offer a wide variety of menu options for those looking for more than just a pie. The subs and salads are also amazing. The house dressing is top notch! I always order extra! If you like your pizza toppings piled high, order the Andy Boy's Special. You won't be disappointed! The crust on their pizza offers just the right buttery crunch. Mmm, mmm! Delicious! Andy Boy's is open for lunch and dinner and can accommodate groups of any size. I've been to multiple birthday dinners, lunches, etc. there and I've also known them to be great hosts to kid's parties for birthdays, sports teams, etc. They have an old fashioned jukebox and a few video games for the youngsters (including Mrs. Pacman!). The service is varied but remember that it's mostly high school and college kids working for tips. Just try the pizza once and you'll be hooked for life. I make an AB's pit stop every time I'm in the area!

I especially love the ham and Gruyère croissant and even ordered them to be served for my birthday last year. The service is efficient and kind and the atmosphere is super chill. I love stopping here when I'm in the area and want a pick me up. My most recent visit I decided to take my friend here after we grabbed coffee at Fr8 house a few minutes away. We opted to get a whole pizza and went for the Brisket and Blue which had fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, smoked beef brisket, basil, pickled red onion, and green chili jam. The pizza was incredible. It had a great bite, slightly crispy, super savory with a touch of sweetness and the brisket was the savory star of the show. I added a bit of red pepper flake and it took it from a 9 to a 9.5 dare I say 10. I highly recommend checking this bakery out whether it's something as simple as a cookie or croissant or the whole pizza. There is something for everyone.
