Before I begin let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so without further explanation let's begin!. This business is connected to Westside burger. Unfortunately they were closed this evening. But The Silos were open for business. They have an inside bar on both sides of the establishment, they have a seating area outside on both sides as well.. and believe it or not there is a rooftop seating area upstairs as well... The waitress was on her job as soon as we walked in making it easy to order food and drinks. There was even a game area to your left when you walk in. The yard area is for the whole family to enjoy. But in order to enjoy rooftop dining you have to be 21 years old or older to enjoy rooftop dining!. The bars offered a full experience of beer, liquor and other alcoholic beverages! Unfortunately, we were disappointed by Silos. My friend and I saw advertisement for them on Instagram and it looked like it was gonna be a cool establishment. They seem like they have like a lot of games you could play the happy hour seem very appetizing however that was not the case. As soon as we walked in, there was no one to greet us. We had to find our own seating. It was very loud and in the restaurant finally, we found two seats at the bar we sat there. It took about 10 minutes for us to be even greeted by a bartender to take our drinks or give us a menu. Once we're given a menu we order two tequila sunrises, which are decent and we got some shots from some patrons are right next to us, which was nice. After we finished our drinks in our shots, we decided to go to the other side of the restaurant which was more of a country music area with more white people and than Black people. We got two drinks over there same deal with the service not really approachable. The bartenders weren't very attentive. It seemed as those Silos segregated the restaurant because there was a black section which played R&B music and there was a white section that played country music, which wasn't really cool. They really need to decide on what type of restaurant they want to be. I don't think we will be coming back to this restaurant and bar. read more

I really wanted to like this place because their location is huge and definitely could be a great place to have dinner and drinks. I met some friends here and was really surprised they on a Thursday night the place was packed at 630pm, it was so busy that there was literally no parking in the lot. I entered and skipped the line to be sat at a table because my friends were waiting in their outside area. It took me over 20min to order some drinks and the entire time I was watching as the bartenders were understaffed and not making their way around the bar. Eventually we found a table and their ordering process required you to go inside a separate portion of the restaurant to place the order. Confusing and frustrating for hungry customers! read more

Really wanted to like this place because the 21+ rooftop is beautiful, but the food service completely ruined the experience. The bar service was great, but do not come here if you're planning to eat. I ordered a taco, and after 40 minutes I was still waiting. How does a taco take that long? (The photo shows what I was still waiting on.) It was also our first time visiting, and there was zero guidance. No one greeted us or told us whether to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. We tried ordering through the QR code, but it didn't work either. The rooftop itself is really nice, but the food service and lack of customer service were incredibly disappointing. I'd only recommend coming here for drinks. Update: we waited 50 mins and never got our food so we just cancelled the order. Tacos?? Really guys? Never coming back here. Had to bring the family here for something new. Very wonderful space to enjoy a few drinks and maybe some cards while you eat. The Service is very good at attending to their patrons needs. I hope to see some live events soon. I'll have to see what they do for open mic nights. Even had corn hole out. The best part is that they don't rush you here. Everything here was just ok. If you are just looking for a place to hang out and drink it would be perfect, but if you are looking for a good burger dinner place, not so much. The location is great and would be amazing for a large group, but a couple just looking for a good meal it wasn't anything I want to go back too. The burgers were very seasoned and it was disappointing that almost every other thing we ordered was out of stock. We couldn't get the hot dogs and then the were out of cucumbers for one of the drinks we tried to order. While everything was ok, it wasn't good enough for me to want to come back. read more

Maybe we came on an off day.. We have been wanting to try this place out since we saw it being built. We finally were able to today and honestly, I was pretty disappointed. On coming in the place is beautiful, I appreciate industrial design and loved the look. We were I'd say half ass greeted by a young lady in the front. She told us to sit anywhere but since it being our first time there we had no clue where we wanted to sit. She also told us to grab our menus and walked away.. we thought that was rather odd but shrugged it off. The inside doesn't have much seating to accommodate a family. We had four people in our party but a four year old. The outside seating accommodates children more but it was rather hot outside today, the inside wasn't too cold either, but it was okay. We sat down, we didn't realize this is a scan a barcode and order type thing but that was no biggie, the only thing that sucked was we couldn't find anyone to ask about our food. We placed our order for our appetizers first, got a text saying our food was ready and Twenty minutes went by and we still didn't receive it. I had to go ask the bartender if we were supposed to walk up somewhere, she was a black woman with short hair, this woman was beyond amazing. She helped and figured out why we didn't receive our food. The young lady that brought it to us was rude. She brought our appetizers, and our meals at the same time. Our appetizers were stone cold. When we told her that the food was cold she got an attitude, and pretty much walked off. The bartender came back, took our appetizers and apologized.. which isn't her job then came back with our new food, I'd like to come back and try again. But the lady that helped us needs the recognition she deserves. Your wait staff need better training. read more

The ambiance definitely a 5. It wasn't as busy as I dropped in at around 5:30pm on a Friday. There's some sort of amusement room to the left as you enter, then to your right a lounge area in front of a bar. Nice concept of having seating area that looks out to an open back patio with space heaters and more benches. There's a pool table that later in the night folks would be playing. I was immediately greeted by a nice friendly server who asked me what I wanted to drink as he handed me the cocktail menu and food menu. The single cheeseburger choices looked good, I was thinking of the one that came with jalapeño and egg. But I ended up ordering the silos (pickled red onion) tres tacos with one protein each: rockfish, steak and lamb. The steak was well seasoned and tender. I brought the other two tacos to try. The manager was so accommodating, so magnetic definitely exudes the welcoming and friendly spirit and vibe of The Silos. I saw their flyer for karaoke !!! May go back for that! read more

3 words: Strong, tasty drinks. 1st time going to the Silos bar and entering there is a huge area with plenty of seating and comfortable couches as well to hang out at. Large drink menu as well, definitely recommend looking at their website for a full selection. We got a hurricane, a blackberry smash, a pink lemonade cocktail and all were winners. I came in hungry, hopeful, and already dreaming about dinner the entire drive over. The place looked nice, the music was playing, people were chatting... everything seemed promising. Then the food arrived. One bite and it felt like the chef had personally emptied the entire Atlantic Ocean into my dish. I tried to power through because I was starving, but the salt level was so intense it actually made me feel nauseous. Meanwhile, we sat there staring at empty glasses for what felt like an eternity while the waitresses slowly floated around the restaurant like time had stopped. I had enough time to contemplate my life choices, the weather outside, and whether I should have just stayed home and eaten cereal. The food is okay and was affordable relatively when they opened a while ago. They obviously are understaffed for the gargantuan size of the place. My main gripe is that they have this whole outdoor area where each table essentially gets their own television which is awesome (or would be) if they ever had anything of interest on the television. This would be a prime place for watching sports NFL games etcetera. Every single time I have gone and sat out there (one time during College Football playoffs, one time during NFL playoffs, and then another time during NBA finals) they have had something totally ridiculous on all the TVs like ultimate bass fishing or clown car dirt rally racing. Ok, pretty annoying. Normally that's fine, you just ask the server nicely if they can change the channel. But every time I have asked this, first of all the server looks at me as if I have asked them to dismantle the television and replace the chip inside of it and put it back together, and they kind of get this look of terror on their face. And then, they tell me they'll ask the manager. Last time they came back and told me verbatim "The manager does not want to change it for one patron because the rest of the restaurant may be watching the current channel." Really? All the people here are hooked into freshwater fly-fishing, they would hate to watch something like the National Championship, that's your final decision on that? Let's just keep it on the Omaha regional Parkour competition. Anyways, huge space could be really good, but most of the area aren't utilized well and the whole area in the middle is completely wasted because of what is mentioned above. Beer was good. read more

Loved this place! We came as of group of about 15 right when they opened at 3pm. The place was very clean and spacious nice set up. We were here for a reenlistment and they were very accommodating with turned music down and the tv off during the ceremony. The bar has a good selection and the menu isn't decent. They have a great happy hour too! We had a few littles under 2 with us and there was plenty of space for them to run around. Towards the evening time they did have a love band which was a nice touch. Not sure how it is here once the sun goes down but it seemed family friendly for the most part considering it's a bar type place. Highly recommend read more

Stopped in to check the place out with a friend on a Sunny Sunday afternoon. We were greeted by the wait staff and bartender immediately. They were very friendly and chatty. I had a few beers and my friend ordered some bbq wings as well. Looks like a new establishment and seems tied to the restaurant next door. Very clean! I can see how it might get crowded on a weekend evening. I'm sure I'll be back, if for no other reason than the friendliness of the staff. Will try the food next time! read more

Went here last night because I thought it'd be nice to try out some food from here finally. Service was good, we sat outside, and got everything in a timely manner. Drinks sounded a bit too wonky for my liking, so I went with the safest option which was their citrine cream (think lemon drop with coconut cream). It was okay, lots of ice and so when it sat a little it tasted watered down a lot. My partner got just a coke, and we ordered our food. We started with the nacho deviled eggs, which were interesting to say the least. It somewhat worked, but I wouldn't order it again. It was like if a gym bro came up with an idea for nachos but more high in protein. After that we got our mains, he ordered a hot dog with pickle fries, and I got their boneless garlic parmesan wet wings with fries. His dog was good, fries were just okay in my opinion. My wings were nothing special though. The way they plated it was kinda careless, they put fries on top of half the chicken, and the sauce didn't properly coat the wings. It seemed like they didn't use enough sauce and tossed it around a few times before saying good enough. The sauce itself could've used a little salt but other than that it was good. The fries were nice and crispy, and the ranch was a good consistency. The breading on the wings felt a little much for some pieces, it's already a small nugget of chicken, it didn't need all of that on there. Afterwards, we ordered the shrimp ceviche to try out because it sounded good. Unfortunately, it was not good. It tasted of some lime, but no salt. The shrimp themselves were rubbery, kinda hard, and overcooked as well. It made me really upset considering it was $13. I really wanted to send it back and get it refunded but my partner said I'd be a Karen if I did. Once we got our bill he did let them know about how bad it was, and our server did offer to comp it for us saying it was no big deal to do so, but he kept talking and said no we don't want to make a fuss. I wish I had butt in, because I was the one paying! We had also ordered a banana ice cream sandwich to go, and it was a good treat. Not artificial flavored, and very nice to end a hot day on. I did ask for the receipt since our total was quite high and I wanted to see the pricing on things, after which I had gone through and noticed an extra drink we didn't order charged to us anyways. Neither of us ordered anything more than a coke and the citrine cream, nor did we want anything more. As I said, their drinks sounded unappealing to us, and the one I ordered was the safest bet. The one they charged us for, the painkiller, was one of the ones we both were disgusted by. It had too much going on by the sounds of it, so it's not like if we asked about it and got it since it was charged to me, that we could've enjoyed it. Went for drinks and dinner but bar on top floor had a long line. Went down to another bar, bar tender seemed less than happy to be there. Went upstairs with our drinks. Line for the bar upstairs stayed busy. I timed 20 mins for the line. Had another round and appetizer, then decided to go elsewhere for dinner as it seemed the servers delivering food could not figure out who's food they had and we did not want to wait in line for drinks. Went today and ordered a chicken salad and the fish tacos. The chicken salad sandwich came out in a to go box, even though we were dining in which tells me it was probably just sitting in the kitchen. Second, the chicken salad was YELLOW -completely yellow, soggy sandwich and it looked old. The waitress immediately came over and asked if I was ok with it. She could tell something wasn't right about it, I said no, and she agreed and I watched her walked off and trash it. This was my first time here and that made me very hesitant to eat the tacos. My husband, 2 1/2 year old and mother-in-law came here on a Saturday evening around 5:30pm and had a wonderful time! It has something for everyone: live music, indoor seating/outdoor seating with both high tops and picnic tables, a places for smaller children to run around and play yard games, and if you want something without kids running around, there's a 21 and older rooftop bar! It was a huge hit with our little boy who just loves to run and play, which usually makes taking him to any restaurant very difficult. So this was definitely a nice change! I will say the only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is the food is more bar style food but the hamburger and brisket taco were very good! All around good service and friendly staff! Bar staff was very nice and they do have great burgers. But after a couple tries I would certainly stick to the burgers solely. I tried a shrimp basket recently thinking they would be good considering they often have fresh local caught shrimp advertised for sale.
